Now I can never hope to be as smart as Russ but I do know that in the US photographers automatically own the copyright for pictures they take (unless they are under some contract to the contrary) and they do not have to register it.

Color me shocked that he doesn't understand that law either.

It's also not fair use. He's using it to make a profit which makes it a pretty clear-cut case of copyright infringment.

That's not Fair Use. Pretty textbook case of infringement, and the caption below falsely alleging she took her life because of a chain reaction started by Taylor ignoring Russ is easily cause for libel, if not getting punched in his saggy face by a family member.

On the one hand no family should have to go through this.

On the other hand if he's stupid enough to double down on this and use her image anyway we get to watch his defeated shuffle out of a courtroom again.

I realize a lot of Russ followers are newer to KF, so to be clear about this: Russell is doing enough work to make this girl's families' life hard. KF does not need to contact her best friend, her family, or anyone. Russell is not Nick Bate and his creepiness is civil court, not criminal. /endmom

His idiotic claims of "fair use" are right in line with every cow having a pitifully poor understanding of the law so uniformly you could set your watch to it. This stuff always makes me think of every time some moron bitches about Null violating their free speech whenever they get banned.
