I could be wrong on this but I recall hearing the Ian admitted to his very strange history and apologized for it. I have no proof of this so take it as a grain of salt. What lol cows are to me are people who sperg out at such criticisms. I can't see Ian really A-logging or overreacting to these criticisms today.

This is my bias speaking but I was honestly surprised this thread was created now at this time and not way earlier on when he was actually doing the whole Nazi Bullshit. He would be a lot more cow potential than he is today.

I feel more sad for Cheong than anything else. The guy just desperately wants to be part of a clique- he has no real reason to get involved in Western culture war issues because he lives in Malaysia, and clearly got involved in anti-GG because it was what almost everyone else in the games journalist clique did. For me IMC's value comes from how angry he makes David Gallant. IMC's lack of consistency in terms of picking a side and staying with it is an interesting contrast to David's dogged refusal to leave a movement that has no use for him and has pushed him away with zero regard to his well-being. IMC himself is not that interesting - he's just a dude with very unstable identity issues, which means he's just like 75% of Twitter users - but the homoerotic rage he inspires in Dave is something to behold and I think more interesting conversations about him will be had in the various rat king threads, especially David's. My two cents.
