I remember getting acquainted type of exercises in high school and college. I think icebreaker activities like that are fairly common.

And yes, his high school classmates knew what we know - that he's funny, although he's usually unintentionally funny.

I wonder if Chris was a bit of a class clown when he was in school?

When I was in second grade our teacher held a contest. We all got points based on some unknown factors. The winner at the end of the year was Todd Schunk. He won a big fucking macrame octopus. I didn't even make it into the top half. I was pissed.

Later that summer, I found out from Todd himself that he had flunked second grade and had to repeat it.

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Chris was among the very worst students in the school, and was awarded Honor Roll just so that the faculty wouldn't have to deal with another one of his tiresome tardrage acts. His ego, after all, was so very fragile.

I just do not understand how someone turning in this quality of work at ages 17 and 18 can be considered a high school graduate. Then I remember he also graduated from community college, and I weep for the American educational system. Hey Skylander, can we expect to see any gems from his incarceration at PVCC?

They are. I've done variations of them throughout high school and occasionally college. It's incredible that he kept the damn thing, and interesting that he disliked fellow guys even back in high school. I would say that none of his bullies were girls, but then I remember Sarah Hammer from back in the day.

43/50

The Bear wept.

The piece of paper where all his classmates wrote what they liked about him kind of hit me in the feels initially. Then I lol'd at how empty the page is.

Also: when I realised one kid had simply written "OK." I almost choked with laughter. Got to remember that for birthday cards and such.

If I were a teacher, I would feel torn between making Chris do-over some of these assignments or being harder on him about them, and just letting him slide. Our education system is supposed to prepare children for real life, and at this point, it's failing to do that, from what I hear. When I was in school it was a bit better since I managed to graduate before standardized testing was required.

I know that a big reason for passing Chris along was Borb, because good (or bad) discipline starts at home and if parents refuse to discipline a child, then anything the teacher tries to do generally comes for naught, and likely stories about Borb were being passed around in the high school after freshman year and some teachers dealing with Chris/Borb for the first time.

Still, I can't help but feel frustrated and disappointed at seeing how easily Chris was allowed to slide by.

I didn't know they used the term "warm fuzzies" in high school. I was in ESL class in high school because I didn't know much English at the time. But I never recalled my teacher talking about warm fuzzies.

No remember Chris never got bullied because he was never shoved in a locker, or given wedgies, or pestered in the Locker Room!

But seriously, I sure as Hell that OPL got bullied a lot he just didn't know it half the time because :stupid:. I think on some level he knew but because he was told that he should like girls he ignored it so he could have a have a chance and a sweet heart. Like if he put up with it they would take pity on him and date him.

GET OUT!!
lol, people just lying to him.

okay..

1.) Chris has probably never even looked directly at a nice watch, much less had one in his possession.

2.) Being a war hero was a drawback? How?

3.) Kennedy probably already knew a way to put people on the moon? What? I would love to hear a torpedo-boat commanders' plan for landing someone on the moon. (It probably involved torpedoes.)

4.) It's been said so many times, but this is a paper written by a 4th grader, not a high-school student. "Honor roll my ass!" doesn't even apply here any more. i want to know how the fuck he was let out of 6th grade.

I'm confused about the JFK paper. At the beginning Chris says from Franklin Roosevelt to Bill Clinton. Was this about presidents of the 20th century or did Chris not care about any centuries that he wasn't born in? (likely)

It amuses me that Chris is so naive that he thinks JFK was the pinnacle of honesty and integrity.

I'm surprised Bob didn't make Chris choose Ronald Reagan as his favorite president....

Bob seemed more of an old school, UN-loving Republican, more like an Eisenhower-type. He probably liked his handling of the Korean War as well.

Well don't get your tits in a twist about Fatty.

While it is true he basically slept though high school and somehow sneaked thru college it has done him no good.

In reality all those easy years have caused the torment that Fatty suffers everyday. His easy ride directly resulted in the pallid, outcast man-child we see today. He never learned a thing and now must suffer the choices he made through ignorance.

Don't envy Fatty's cruise through early life. It's only through hardship and struggle that one grows as a person. Embrace your challenges as they make you stronger in the end.

You know, these leaks are starting to explain some of Chris's behavior with respects to his entitled attitude, laziness and inflated ego. Not only was he allowed to do whatever he wanted at home, but apparently the school-system underhand-pitched everything to him, and let him round the bases even if he struck out.

PS: JFK was like the king of JERKS who took all the pretty girls. (in fact, we have his portrait hanging in all of our secret meeting halls.) I'm actually surprised that he picked him as his favorite president.

He's the perfect storm of failure. Years ago it was touted that he was at the intersection of "bad parenting" meeting "bad genes", however now it appears Chris has a trifecta of those two assets PLUS the utter failure of the American school system that completed the cocktail. Not to shift the blame or anything, since poor genes can't be helped, but in the end it all still boils down to the parents. They did not care enough to provide therapy and assistance for their child and for that reason literally everything else around him fell apart.
