When he first exclaims "it's not a business!" he fails his arms & gets all wide-eyed & looks up at the ceiling. Now I'm not saying that means he's getting audited or that I agree with any of the other theories out there but that is one peculiar statement. It's not just a throw away line. There's definitely something there.

My guess is he's been doing something sketchy with his taxes. I'm not sure why it would be important for it not to be a business, though. He's certainly in the past repeatedly called it a business.

Just knowing how Goutler half-asses every goddamn thing, I'd make a wild guess if he does get audited, he's getting raped hard without lube.

Yes. Read the comments where the internet tax experts pretty much say you'd have to have spent over a million dollars over the three years to have that amount of money be in jeopardy. There is no way Phil has come close to spending a million dollars.

You mean they aren't going to audit Phil? Or that this is a non-issue for him?

The general conclusion is that its someone other than Phil (Onison) because they reference a bill that would put them in a much higher league than him and they also mention hanging out with other people.

Didn't he brag about having one of his dad's friends help him with his taxes since he was a financial consultant or something? If that's the case then I highly doubt that any tax-related issues would be an input error or any kind of real accident.

I have another speculation. What if someone went to the condo association or went to the county and said "hey, this guy Phil Burnell is operating a business out of a house" perhaps the condo association has a clause of "no running businesses out of your home" and they're making him move/leave. I dont know the law in washington if they require if you own a business, even a sole proprietorship, that you must be in an area zoned for business. I doubt it, but its possible. More possible is the condo association having some prohibition about running a business out of your house, of any kind. I've seen in the news where I think its Jersey that's prohibiting people from operating a cooking business out of their homes (granted that's food and its a whole other can o worms), but what if this condo association has something in their bylaws about not running a business out of your home.

Not arguing if its right or wrong that an association has this kind of requirement, but it could explain why all of a sudden he's saying "its not a business"

This has now proven to me that a great majority of DSP's fanbase are no better than Fred or any of the shit the SoK did to Phil. They have completely surrendered whatever moral highground they thought they had after that group's disbanding, and Phil himself has shown himself once again as a duplicitous liar.
Do not under any circumstances retaliate in kind by reporting whatever fans he has on Twitter. Let them instead know loud and clear what a joke they are, provoking aggression without any reasonable cause.

That does check most of the boxes. You have to interpret "I'm going to lose my house" as meaning to continue his "job" he'll have to give up his house, but that's not really a stretch. Interesting.

This is a good example of the type of lie/misleading Phil likes to do. The first explanation is meant to throw people off because the implication is that the dumped info is completely false. When he finally is cornered into admitting it the first dodge is kinda not technically a lie, as far as we've yet discovered anyway. So yeah he lies like crazy and often blatantly but he favors doing so in ways that he can weasel out from.

PS If you notice he's also going full throttle on the not a business lie too in the same post. Thats what I love about Phil, its multilayered spin.

Remember this was a thing that happened back in CT. Since his townhouse building has two other units in it, if his office shares a wall with the other units his neighbors have had to put up with some manchild yelling at video games day in and day out.
