Psychic prediction - CK is going to claim that he provided all the relevant docs requested and it's not his fault the site went down and data was lost. Reposting is not an option as I ALREADY DID YOU GUISE.

If he has genuinely had a run-in with cancer then that is fucking terrible and awful, but so is exploiting your health for dollars and sympathy.

Personal suspicion was that he modified a browser stored cache page or found *MITM* software to modify live loading page, at this point, he cries wolf a lot so can't put anything past him.

On Thursday evening, Chris King began posting in this thread. He spent a couple of hours dodging questions and engaging in a routine that was clearly designed to make people pity him. He claimed to be posting from a hospital He was verified by a moderator and was soon asked to post proof of his claim. He posted two pieces of evidence. The first was four or five different pictures taken with his iPhone of his computer screen showing the medical history page that has gone around. The second was a video of him logging in to the page on his laptop.

This was considered confirmation that his medical records were legitimate until it was pointed out by a Kiwi (I forgot who, please remind me and I will edit it in) that the GPS information embedeed in the metadata of the photographs showed that they were taken at his home. The pictures all had slightly different GPS coordinates implying that instead of being one set of saved coordinates, that they were being updated live as he was taking them. The video and pictures were absolutely taken from his home.

I'm working on reconstructing it.

Fortunately, someone seems to have archived some of this thread last night. Thank you to whoever did it. More pages may be retrievable from cached Google results if they got indexed before KF went down. @JSGOTI, I know you commented on what was going on behind the scenes regarding verification of Chris' claims, so maybe you can chime in too.

As far as the photos from the "hospital" go, I've still got archives of the EXIF data of the first 5 that Chris posted. Here are the coordinates and timestamps.

He claimed to be at the hospital at 9:20 PM local time, even though there aren't any LVHN hospitals close enough to his house to make this plausible. The locations in the metadata of his first batch of images all put him within ~+/- 1 second of longitude/latitude (or approximately 100 feet) from the location of Chris' house. The small variations in location show the sort of GPS drift that naturally occurs when someone uses a cellphone's location services indoors.

Then several minutes later he posted two more images after claiming to be in the hospital. The images were archived, but it looks like the thread page where they were posted was not. They are taken from a similarly darkened room where you can't see the background. Here is their EXIF info:

Those two pictures are taken from the same location as the first batch, leading me to believe that there was no way Chris was telling the truth about being at the hospital. There was initially some talk about whether Chris' iPhone may have been using old, cached location data from his house when geotagging the seven pictures, but the fact that the longitude, latitude, and altitude vary slightly between pictures seems to rule that out.

If anyone can fish more of the lost posts from Google's cache, please do.

First: I just want to remind everyone that cows are supposed to be made fun of for the reactions they give to reasonable criticism. This isn't a trial where you have to prove that a cow is or isn't guilty, but merely calling into question of the observed behaviours of the said cow while having a good laugh is what it's all about. If anyone has to prove anything, it's the cow themselves if they care enough to set the record straight.

Let's recap: Chris King was accused of being potentially an honour stealing, drug-seeking extortionist who supposedly faked cancer to get money from misguided do-gooders online who donate money on good faith rather than researching who is behind the supposed fundraiser.

His initial reaction on social media was aggressive and defensive to the accusations put forth that the stuff he offered was doctored information. Such examples which call his authenticity into question include but aren't limited to using another person's script, obvious photoshopping, and taking his ball and going home when presented with options of how to show real proof without jeopardizing his information. Later, he showed up to his own cow thread and began answering questions in a far more humble and seemingly 'genuine' explanation for each criticism brought forth.

The thing about addicts that they tend to have in common is they use the same pattern of reaction when a valid question comes up. They deflect by attacking (going after someone in a call for being "merry's" friend), claiming victim status (sobbing on stream when being reamed by Steve), and try to appear like they want forgiveness for their momentary outbursts or and that it will 'never' happen again (Stealing from Steve, apologizing, claiming money was for 'meds'). Too many times have I personally seen that kind of behaviour irl in the profession I'm in (no, I'm not a doctor). For someone who's really against the label of being an addict, you have a long way to go to prove otherwise. It's your fault too for all the 'misconceptions' because of your initial outburst and your history of extorting others. Certainly didn't help that you waited so long to try to 'correct the record.

TL;dr - Your word's gonna always be shakey, and the only way you can fix that really is to stop stalling and show believable shit. I want to be proven wrong. Show us what you got.

It was my first unfriendly conversation with Chris King, around the time him and his friends started spreading my real name around. After a DM convo between him and a Samurai Buyer employee were released, it showed Chris King deeply insulting my comics, saying his article will be a hit piece on me, and making a lot of personal insults towards my character. I later found out from my ex co-worker and friend who works at Samurai Buyer, which is mentioned in the OP, that he did this to earn their trust so they would hire him as a lawyer for $1000 to "deal with me."

Hopefully you can find it a bit entertaining. It's the first moment when I started doubting everything about him.

Yeah this shows where i have issues too. To re-summarize from before the data loss, the History page looks to me like a self-reported deal. I have recently been asked by docs to fill out that typical history form online at home before coming to the office and i could have written anything i wanted on there with lack of dates, duplicates, weird capitalization, etc. Although systems are different everywhere as someone pointed out, so who knows exactly what is goong on inside this one. Regardless, the only cancer listed as a CURRENT issue is clearly and shittily shopped. Maybe his photoshop has cancer.

To be fair though, Chris himself did, of his own free will, setup a KF account to clear his name and set things straight. And he did it by reposting previously BTFO documents. Then some KW farm members got the attached little gem by DM.

The documents are a massive part of this lulzy affair now simply because Chris himself earnestly claims he wants to put the whole thing to bed. Plus he made some claims that his daughter was being harrassed and that is not acceptable IF, and I mean IF, it is true.

His skill for waffling and reducing things to his hyperbolic rhetoric of 'I'M A BAD PERSON AND I HATE MYSELF AND YOU SHOULD TOO' is his goto when he realises people aren't buying his shit. He's so good at avoiding direct questions AND the point that it's become necessary to just be direct and list the issues spotted so far with his bullshit narrative, hence the summary. Just listen to the interviews available.

He has never stopped being a lolcow and I personally do not believe any disproportionate response has been made on these forums. Chris is a despicable person and if he has one talent it's in thinking that if he repeats things again and again they become reality. Actually a bit like Russ.

You are correct in what you say and you've made an excellent point, however Chris brought his knapsack of shit to these very forums and it worked out exactly as well as anyone could have predicted.

This would be consistent with his having to wait until Thursday for it. He may have had to call the hospital and say "Oh I forgot something about my medical history" and it took a couple days to get put in there (if it is a self-reported thing).

He never answered these questions. As per the usual, he simply offered newer information in hopes that the older, fraudulent information was forgotten. Thankfully people don't seem to be buying it. I was keeping tabs on his twitter yesterday while the site was down and took some screencaps. Here they are:
