There's also the factor that, even were she to uninvolve herself with identity politics, many of the people she surrounds herself with (whether in friend circles, fanbase, etc) continue to define themselves by their commitment to their politics. So if everyone around her behaves and believes a certain way and/or validates this, then it becomes harder to find an "out". It's a similar circumstance to, like, say you're overweight and you have a group of fat friends all affirming each other's shitty lifestyle choices, and you realize it's unhealthy and start dieting and make progress, and at first they're "happy" for you but then the facade wears off and everyone misses "the old you" and starts sabotaging and dogpiling you at every turn. I feel like that's the sorta thing that's likely to happen to Lindsay if she shapes up.

Honestly I've seen this happen so much ever since Drumpf won the election it's wild. A lot of blogs on tumblr or accounts in Twitter basically stopped blogging about fandoms or fun things and it's just Drumpf 24/7 and their circle of friends echo the same, and if you don't want to talk about that you're a bigot and etc etc etc. So many good blogs went to hell because of this.

You gotta give Doug at least some credit.He doesn't do the identity politics that much he only pays lip service to it.He might be a mediocre movie reviewer but he at least largely sticks to being that.Still i have a hard time believing Doug thinks Marvel superhero movies are that deep and complex.Or maybe trully complex movies are too hard to understand for him unless he reads the wiki page on them.There are maybe 3-4 superhero movies that trully rise above their peers and can be watched as complex dramas and Age of Ultron is nowhere near that level.

According to this review for the film, the "baby daddy" is named Ritvik, who also apparently edited the film. I then did some digging and discovered The A-Word had a tumblr. In the crew section, there appears to be a man named Ritvik Mayank.

Unless proven otherwise, this gentleman was the father-to-never-be.
