It's often amusing to me when one of DSP's faithful begins to tussle and you can almost see them start to awaken from their hypnosis, but it's always the same story where that person will get a stern talking to in a post by Phil and then they'll say, "Yes Phil. I'm sorry for being cross, Phil. Use the whip with the glass shards this time." Ginosaji begging and pleading for his mod duties being reinstated recently comes to mind.
There are a few in that community who are halfway decent but the rest are as dumb as a fuckin box of rocks.

Yeah no. I just got here. I'm not trying to read an autobiography of dsp that hard. I'll read the OP and just reply

you should never admit to doing this.

Maybe the 4 days without streaming stresses him out even more tho. After all, he does need as much money as possible.

i'm not sure he's really 4 days away from total failure. hopefully he will come back full of rage, piss and vinegar and start being more entertaining and less sad

are his followers supposed to feel bad for him because his days off are so lame due to his incredible work ethic? dude needs to be validated so badly.

I wonder how hard it'd be to try to do what he does and make money. Has anyone else tried?

Youtube is a bit too saturated to replicate that, ad-pocalypse or not. You really have to have some charm or a niche to be a full-time streamer, assuming you ever get the buzz. @SoapQueen1 summed it up nicely, though-as long as you don't commit murder on stream, you might be able to get somewhere.

So the people on the forum or going to mass flag the "edited content"....all 10 of them eh?
Yeah but Amityville got three whole videos pulled one day. If all ten of them do this that is 30 videos a day which is about the same amount uploaded daily because Phil can't help himself but respond in the worst way possible to any situation he is presented. It really is kind of amazing. If you made a movie and put Dsp in as a character people would say someone like that is too absurd and over the top to be believable.

Being able to poke fun at yourself is kind of important if you do anything in front of an audience. It surprises me that Phil isn't taking the idea and making montages himself. Even if you're a die-hard fan of DSP, and apparently there are some, I'm sure anyone would appreciate a highlight reel of his failures rather than having to watch every minute of what he uploads. A lot of them are funny (although not for the reason Phil likes, which is the issue), and he could capitalize on that.

Oh right, that would require more than the bare minimum effort, and some degree of self-awareness. And then Phil wouldn't be Phil any more...

well, he approved TIHYDPs made by his fans back in January this year under the KOCC/KO Gaming Community Creation program (no, I'm not making the name up). Guess how that turned out?

I'm guessing somewhere in the "not good" area.

My bad, I honestly hadn't heard of it until now.

The people who have put reason and thought into their posts have been banned long ago on TKOH forums, what is left are the hardcore fans giving each other a reacharound and complain that they cannot do this everywhere except in DSP's safe spaces (such as his chat). Whoever is new is instantly accused of being a sock account and surrounded by an attack force which KG, lastrambo341 or others take part of.

And if you do happen to slip through that, Phil shows up with a wall of text, insulting the OP, and closing the thread, with or without mentioning that he banned the OP. TKOH forums is a complete waste of time, there is no need having a forum where you cannot have an opinion.

Phil's fans turn against each other here and there once in a while but it wasn't enough to let them see the sun in TKOH forums.

So what happens in the aforementioned forum post on TKOH? Phil shows up, locks the thread or deletes it, hands out maybe one or two bans but the problems stay, since he doesn't ban people who donate to him. Some have as much as eight ban points and still flame the threads while others are banned on sight just because of suspiscious names.

There is one correct thing mentioned in the posts: that the "haters" have achieved more on a technical level than Phil's loyal fans. They once tried to make montages to show how funny and entertaining Phil can be without using "malicious kahnten" but that died quickly, whereas there has been a constant stream of TIHYDPs. I mean what do you expect, look at the fanart they provide to Phil and you see what level of autism they are dealing with. None of them could pull a TIHYDP Tekken 7, instead they still follow Phil's illusion that it is his content stolen and no transformative work.

I'd like to remind folk (particularly @SirJamesDTech) that Amityville was the most likely suspect in getting drgnkiller temporarily suspended on twitter due to bragging about a tweet being gone before it actually was, and the fact they're openly admitting to trying to get channels shut down on YouTube too adds weight to the hypothesis IMO.

Even the TKOH mods are annoyed with them though, going by what SilentWarrior said on there.

Phil is one of those people who seem almost physiologically incapable of not taking themselves seriously. He's one of the few men I know of who have a womanlike insecurity about their physical appearance. Its a textbook narcissist trait. Its so easy to bait and make him rage about so many things. Even after his fans tell him over and over and he knows full well about this, trying to be truly selfdeprecating is a completely foreign concept to him, like trying to explain emotions to a robot, hence the lame jokes and stuff like the KOCC debacle.

I'm guessing somewhere in the "not good" area.

They were unwatchable. Phil only approved the most saccharine and least insulting ones possible, and the editing/humor in them was on a "my first YT video" level of quality.

Phil didn't get that part of the fun of TIHYDP was watching him fail, not just act like a fucking clown. For example, the manchild-approved TIHYDP Dark Souls III omitted the threats and insults towards From Software and mostly focused on the deaths where he was obviously hamming up the reaction for views.

Not to mention he would only upload them once he has watched them...which as you all know he just doesn't have the time so there would be a massive delay in these approved montages being uploaded sometimes weeks after he had recieved the file.
