It's Ali's pants on heads way of trying to ensure she doesn't end up on dates with loafers - I can appreciate her desire to ensure she's not dating some lazy-ass, though she's basing this off the fact she was the breadwinner while married. Jake was a bit of a low-effort cuck - but was as much her call to marry a guy who up to that point wasn't aiming for much more than "cafe barrista"

That and hoo boy she'll have a fun time telling prospective long term partners how she keeps the money rolling in.

Oh for fuck's sake, is she serious with this shit? If there is a man out there who can tolerate being in her presence for longer than ten minutes and doesn't see her only as a pump and dump receptacle for a wad that would have been destined for a Kleenex without her around, she needs to jump on that shit and nail him down. He has bad credit? He can walk that poor dog daily and save her money. He can pick up her food and save her the delivery charge. All she should be concerned about is whether or not he will skin her alive or rape her cat. Leave worrying about credit ratings for women with an actual future.

Also, just for the record, borderline personality disorder is not an illness. It is, as the name clearly states, a disorder. Bipolar and MDD are illnesses. Borderline personality disorder is a collection of maladaptive coping mechanisms that went unchallenged for so long that they became a part of the borderline's core identity. That is why there are no medications for borderline - it consists of learned behaviors that have to be unlearned. And they can be unlearned - it just takes hard work, self-awareness and innate decency because borderline personality disorder is a manipulative, nasty, unpleasant and ultimately soul crushing life choice that leaves exhausted and defeated romantic partners and psychologically abused children in its wake. And even knowing that their behaviors hurt others most of them are just like Alison - so concerned with how others react to them and angry with anything that takes victim focus off them. So sorry I wrecked your car because a girl talked to you at work, poisoned your d0g, embarrassed you in front of your peers by dancing on a table with my tits out and spent your savings on a vacation I took without you but just think about how it feels to be MMMEEEEEE!

God, she's almost evil. She's just too dumb to be truly evil. So she's a borderline instead.

And that's why credit rating doesn't matter in her case. All she needs is a dude who can drive her to the ER after she bangs her head into the wall because he dared stop catering to her every whim. A credit rating over 750 isnt gonna get her brain on ice at the ER any faster than under 600 will.
