No, they're shilling their own forum. They said they got over a thousand new users, which for Waypoint is relatively large. Waypoint forum is even more extreme than NeoGAF was. That entire site has been SocJus focused since it's creation, explicitly so.

Yeah, but how long are those 1000-something members gonna behave until they chimp out at something a Waypoint mod did it didn't do?

Never been on Waypoint before, but if it's more SJW than NeoGAF, then ResetEra isn't necessary, no?

ResetEra is necessary for the old mods who gave up their one source of power. I've always said the majority of people who exodus NeoGAF because of Tyler will not end up at ResetEra. Funny to think about it, but ResetEra in a way is like 8chan to these people after the 4/v/ exodus during GamerGate.
