Ugh. This is one of those things that just bothers me to no end. I've dubbed it "window hair" and it's surprisingly common in anime-influenced styles. If they drew the hair as opaque (like it should be) suddenly the character's expression wouldn't be readable! Clearly the only answer is to just draw the eyes on top of the hair... because, you know, that makes total sense. Too much effort to redesign the character to have a less ridiculous hair style.

When its just a little bit of the eyebrows it's like whatever, but if you have one or even both eyes going through the hair you done fucked up.

Eyes going through the hair has always been an art pet-peeve of mine.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Deviants with the words "studios" or "productions" in their name tend to be the most certain that their Mary Sues original characters are going to end up a worldwide phenomenon?

Well the especially shitty thing about the eyes over the hair thing is, it is meant as a commercial product. They are expecting people to pay for lazily drawn art. Here's the thing, too; In a visual novel, all you have is a script, art models, and basic sound/music. A lot of visual novels reuse art/facial expressions which is fine because actual skill was used for them. Not the tartlets though! I can understand why a bunch of Steam users are pissed off.

Alright that does renew my hope. I am still sad that real fanimes exist but I shall have to learn to cope with them as they appear. I will not be leaving the planet anytime soon then.

No doubt there are people who may have a Nazi fetish or they might have something for people like Hitler. Really, speaking of people who may or may not have Nazi fetish: Josef Mengel fan-art. Why people make this I have no idea (Unless it's one where he gets something such a beat down, that I can understand since it's basically him getting punched or stabbed, like with Hitler getting punched by Captain Planet or Cat Man strangling Hitler.)

I'll just say this: Sure, the Nazi's can be interesting in knowing what sort of ideas they followed and how they began their conquest. Even then, that doesn't excuse the fact that the art such as animu Mengel is messed up.
