Phil probably kept paying her phone bill in case there was still a chance they could get back together. There's no way someone doesn't know how much their phone bill is, even if it's DSP..
Maybe that's the bad news, he found out Leanna got a new man and really isn't coming back.

Besides doesn't PSN have an account page where you can see the details of your actual transactions?
Of course it does (that's a pic from Google Images before you try and doxx some dude called "Colin
Goucher") Phil just is too lazy to even check this.
This combined with him not knowing how much he pays for Cable, not knowing how much he pays for Phone/data, not knowing if he's even bought a game or not shows that even though his finances are poor he obviously has no system or concept of how to organize his purchases.
He's obviously set up everything to autopay and over the span of an entire year of crying about his finances hasn't even taken a look to see where all his money is actually going.
This is enough proof to show that Phil is probably making a decent amount of money, and his poor finances are not only tied to his decision to move to "
Château de Renton" but likely mainly caused by him watching TV all day and never actually sitting down a single time to look through his bank or credit card statements.
If he were actually even slightly aware of what he was spending on, then he would know straight away how much stuff costs. But he doesn't. I believe he said earlier this month that his cable was $100. Then he comes out and says its like $134. He doesn't even know how much a superfluous expense like BASIC Cable TV costs.
