Yeah, sphinxes are supposed to be pretty needy and vocal. That said, my cat's needy as hell, and if she started behaving like this, my first thought would probably be that she was trying to warn me about a monoxide leak.

Gotta rake in those sweet furrybux somehow. The scattershot approach to posting pages is a big contributor to how slow-feeling the comic is. What was the point of the 'fucky' comic Subject 28? That was straight up abuse. Someone clearly being uncomfortable, wanting to stop, being physically assaulted, and then a piece of paper saves the scene so the beatings can continue. This shit is 50 Shades of Floraverse. Yeah, people making bad decisions and then regretting it sure is fucky, isn't it, PK.

He knows he'll get hit but does it anyway and inches himself closer if you try to get him. If that isn't fucking around, then it's certainly a weird way of playing or showing boredom.

Cats do this when you don't play with them enough, if at all. You buy a killing machine with a lot of energy, and then give it no outlet. It gets bored. Caring for a cat requires more effort than pouring food in a bowl and cleaning its shit. Though, we've seen the pics, and they barely even do that.

IMO, trying to use this comic as proof that Eevee is mistreating his cat is a bit of a stretch. At most, this shows the cat just wants attention, since most cats really don't care when it's convenient for a person to give them attention, such as when you're doing homework or trying to sleep or in an important business call. There are definitely pets who get destructive when they're bored because they need to take their energy out somewhere, but a cat who's just whining at their owner is probably okay. I'm not defending Eevee by any means (I've seen the shit photos), I just wanted to put my two cents in.
The other thing is--all this time, I thought Anise was a girl. It's a very feminine name, anyways. Has Anise always been a male or is Eevee's cat trans now?

She already uses Neon's icon everywhere and is Neon on Discord, so it's only a matter of time. I'm sure her artist name will remain to be Glitchedpuppet/Glip, though.
Xenon (angry goat tiger) is acting like a sibling so I'm going to assume no. She's introduced in this page on the sfw site. I know PK's out of touch with family dynamics, but I don't think she would go as far as depicting a parent as a jealous rival of their own kids. Yet it's very easy to connect Xenon to being the mom because of how her exposition panel shows up right after "How'd this experience with your mom go?" I can see PK being aware of this and keeping the exposition timed that way just to troll her audience. It'll be dumb if the actual mom never appears or speaks, though.
Claude can't be biologically related because his species was revealed to be a manticore-flowercat mix (also found on the sfw site).
Glip needs to touch up on her animal and human anatomy if she's going to stop with the ugly design choices. Shame that she's wasting talent on making anatomically correct possum penises instead.

This is actually a weird thing that is popular with some furries. If you just do a basic google image search for "candy gore" nearly every result is a furry bleeding neon colors or cutting itself up into fruit or flat neon chunks. It's fucking weird.
