He can flip a coin or make an executive decision AFTER. And if the viewers choose the one he wants the most, he can say he is listening to his fans.

They're literally of no benefit to him other than a luxury. He claims he's at a massive disadvantage without surround sound, because he needs to hear everything around him in a game in order to succeed. Who the fuck is he trying to kid? How often does he play games where hearing footsteps and subtle noises actually matter? and more importantly - since when is he the type to be cautious and careful enough to use that information? Every shooter he plays he just sprints around by himself, spraying at anybody he see's until he gets sprayed back and killed. Rinse and repeat until the match is over. He's just trying to justify to himself his own frivolous spending habits.

Not to mention, gout damages your hearing. Even regular audiophile headphones are of no benefit to him.

No, DSP already owns the 'season pass' equivalents for the Telltale titles & Life is Strange: Before the Storm, so he only needs to buy Horizon's expansion & NfS Payback.
However I doubt DSP will even play Horizon's expansion or NfS Payback if he doesn't pick them up quickly - so if they lose I'd be surprised if he plays them in future.

Other news: in the chat before Mario Odyssey's later stream, DSP noted he was planning to co-op Monster Hunter World with TolomeoR & Tolo's friends (that Souls streamer DSP autohosts & Tolo subs back to DSP):

Monster Hunter was the Dark Souls before Dark Souls and every game requires you to try out every of the 20 weapons or so to find a playstyle that suits you and has a tutorial that goes well over 2 hours with lots and lots of reading.

It requires planning ahead which in case of Phil... yeah this will produce some quality salt.

There are very few times I'm legitimately shocked by Phil, but he just entered a whole new dimension of obliviousness (or deception).

I love how everything up to about 0:40 is pretty much 100% accurate.

Fyi he played 4 Ultimate and basically never grew out of using abusing Sword mode on the Switchaxe. He also never learned the difference between whetstones and mini-whetstones.

If you want to get real technical, the King's Field series (1994 onwards) was the Souls series before it went full-Souls. But you're right. It's going to be a disaster. Co-op with Phil is already a shitshow, if we're going off current events. And that was Call of Duty. Monster Hunter co-op is going to be horrendous.

The difference being that King's Field is the actual predecessor to the Souls series and made by the same team, rather than an unrelated game that is simply difficult. But this is irrelevant anyway, so I'll leave it at that.

I think once he hits a Rath hunt, he's gonna have a "FUCK THIS GAME DOOD UNINSTALL ITS GARBAGE" moment the second he eats that tail swip.


Also, if any of you glorious bastards join his hunt when he calls for help, please for the love god run Phil into multiple monsters to really fuck with his head as MHW will have at LEAST 4 different monsters on the map at all times during the hunts.

The amount of salt he will produce will be entertaining to watch on DaviddDavidsons or vault boys channel
