Holy shit, Dahvie never actually paid Jay, and forced him to tour BEFORE getting HIV treatment? Dude could've died.
There's been a lot of people Dahvie's invited to be the "second" in BOTDF, buy Jay lasted much longer than any others I can remember. The fact that he was just 18 when he joined is probably why; he was willing to work for parties and tours for a few years, until the realities caught up with him.

Jessi Slaughter's story went viral in mid 2010, her dad was charged with child abuse for hitting her in March 2011 at which point she was completely removed from the home, so this would have been after about 5-6 months of therapy and hospitalization and being in a special school. She still had mental health issues, so I don't think this video is reliable one way or the other. A video on the internet certainly wouldn't have been encouraged by her teachers and doctors and councilors.
This video is especially sad because it seems like things are going ok for Jessi, but things actually got much worse for her.

I didn't know about Blood on the Dance Floor before Jessi Slaughter back when that all went down. But until today I had never heard their music. I was expecting some kind of lame numetal or fake ass pop punk garbage because of the stupid hair and clothes. I tend to live in my own musical bubble so I never know what's popular and don't really care.
The music was far far worse than I imagined. I watched about a minute and a half of that witch song on the first page of the thread. If you had told me that it was a parody made for SNL or something like that I wouldn't even think otherwise. I wasn't expecting any sort of talent anyway. But I was just floored by how it's so bad it sounds more like The Onion of music than actual music passing itself off as legit. It's complete garbage and girls like it? Or are they just attracted to the pedo singer and his rainbow vomit hair and Hot Topic wardrobe?
It's a shame that victims of his are bullied into submission by girls who can just as easily become victims themselves.
I assume his newer Sinners are Winners stuff is just as bad. So I'll save my ears and not bother listening.

There are plenty of bands that take their names from the song titles of other bands. Godsmack, for example, took their name from an Alice in Chains song.
Also pretty much every tribute band ever takes their name from a song by the band they're paying tribute to.

Re: Fallon's kids, I was trying to figure out when Dahvie came onto the scene, and whether (yikes) the little girl was his. And yes, she has two VERY young children, whom she's apparently leaving in the care of her mom and grandma while she tours with Dahvie (which is for the best.)

Fallon reuses photos a lot, and edits like crazy. This is the only one from around that time period (August) where it looks like she may have been pregnant, or recently postpartum.
But she was back at work by Sept 2nd, filming a movie in a tiny cheerleader outfit. It's not likely she auditioned for and booked this movie while she was pregnant.
What's the point of all this? Well, Dahvie first shows up in a photo with Fallon Oct 6th 2016,. So it's impossible for the youngest child to be his, thank god. By Oct 26th, she was in one of his music videos, and likely invited to be part of the band shortly thereafter.
Still, Dahvie lusting over a grown woman with kids who wears drag queen makeup and has fake tits, rather than the decidedly childish 11-13 years olds he's so long preferred, is a weird segway for him. Weird because the little girl is still a long way off of his preferred age, and because he's got access to a ton of willing preteens every time he tours. A long con to raise a baby to abuse seems unnecessary. Sure, if you're Average Pedo Joe, marrying the mom to get access to the kids is worth it. But David doesn't need to do that. It just seems like a lot of work for a payoff he can get whenever (unfortunately.)
His popularity has died down dramatically so perhaps this is future insurance, but for now there's no problem with his access to young girls.
