I have no idea and I don't care. The irony of calling people paedophiles isn't lost on me and I don't think Chris did nothing wrong is a paedophile, but I do think that Tony Podesta is a child molester and I firmly believe the type of art one surrounds himself with is indicative of the type of person one is. It reminds me of one of my 'favorite' serial killer trivia items which is this picture. Her name is Regina Kay Walters, and she was a runaway who left home with her boyfriend and picked up a ride with a very bad man who killed her companion and bound her in the cargo area of his truck for months. When he was done with her, he cut her hair and dressed her like his ex-wife, then took this picture before shooting her with a gun he was holding.

This picture is one of the most emotional things I've ever seen and I think about it and get sad on odd occasions. While I be sure to not forget her name, I would never hang this picture in my house. I would not stand next to the painting looking smug while photographers take pictures of me next to it. I simply don't believe this picture has any positive value besides remembering the person who died.

This is a picture of another serial killer victim. Jeffery Dahmer would position bodies in strange ways influenced by the occult and take pictures of them. The occult has nothing to do with this picture other than Dahmer's own interest in it and the fact he was amused by it.

And this is a statute in Tony Podesta's home.

I have no idea how to feel about this other than pure contempt. There is something evil and disgusting about this person. Eh. Artistic merit is subjective. A corpse is just a shell and it can represent a lot more than just a person's last moments. The "arch of hysteria" is the body shape people were found in what used to be called "clinical hysteria," a diagnosis that is now out of fashion. It's also associated with meningitis and the nerve inflammation caused by tetanus. That particular victim had been injected with hydrochloric acid in the brain after being stabbed in the skull with an icepick, so may have actually taken that posture naturally from the brain damage while still alive.

I'm pretty sure Pedosta is a pedo. I just don't think that sculpture was necessarily based on that photo. I suppose it's not impossible. Dahmer's last murders were in 1991 and the statue was created in 1993. However, I didn't see those pictures until fairly well after Dahmer's trial. Maybe they were leaked early on. I don't remember seeing them until maybe '94 or '95 maybe on rotten.com.
