Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Whoa whoa whoa, wait. Wait just a minute. There are online guides for how to deal with family members who voted for Trump during holiday gatherings? That's...yeah I don't want to just blatantly provide opinion posts but that's fucking pathetic.
Oh come on, these come out every year for democrats. Not only do they need constant reminders of their talking points, it’s likely the only time their family invites them around.

Who can forget the hilarity of the Pajama Boy ad for Christmas?

I guess I just never paid attention to political scenes enough to know the extent to which these types project onto their family. It's rather sad that a few political ideals could get in the way of that.

I’ve heard that phrase used as an insult for years, now I finally know where it comes from!! Thank you

Don't forget Ronald Reagan with his Reaganomics and astrology.

Does Dobson remember the Regan years? I feel like presidents in office while you were under the age of ten don't really count under political life experience since most kids don't pay attention to politics during that point in their lives, unless their parents encourage it.

I forget Dobson isn't in his mid 40s sometimes, he looks way older than he should. But the way Baskin Dobbins goes on about politics you'd think he was born in the middle of voting for Dukakis.

"Obama is our favorite president" Who's this "we" Dobbo speaks of? Him and his tapeworm?

Just to put this into perspective, the top ranks of most public opinion polls regarding presidents typically include George "I've owned slaves my entire life but i'm iffy about it" Washington, Thomas "I've owned slaves my entire life but i'm super iffy about it" Jefferson, Abraham "I freed the slaves but i still think their sub-human" Lincoln, and Theodore "Original dude-bro" Roosevelt.

And of course the ultimate shitlord Andrew Jackson, who I've heard multiple people in the MSM compere Trump to.

Jackson literally killed people, as in, shot them to death in a duel, personally.

Jackson literally beat off an attempted assassin with his walking cane in his late 60's. Both of the assassin's pistols misfired.

The man was a living Chuck Norris meme 100 years before Norris was even conceived.

When Twitter finally realizes that shame doesn't work against him. Maybe that's why Trump gets under their skin so badly; he's immune to their only weapon.

As to why shame doesn’t seem to be be working in the political sphere against the Red Tribe—Trump’s narcissism notwithstanding—the Red Tribe feels that they are under attack. Right now, we have the Blue Tribe trying to push the Red Tribe into cultural irrelevance, and the Red Tribe isn’t taking it well. Blue Tribe culture is taking over academia, not just at the collegiate level, but even in public schools to indoctrinate their children. Assertions of Red Tribe values are being met with a loud public shaming. The Red Tribe rightly views this as attack. What can they do?

Compare Trump to Bill Clinton. On a personal level, Clinton was thoroughly corrupt. His administration was rocked by scandal from beginning to end, for which the humiliating Lewinsky affair served as the crap cherry on a shit sundae. From "I didn't inhale" to credible allegations of sexual assault and rape, and especially because of the way the press excused or laughed off his behavior, he demolished the dignity of the office. If you wonder why no one cares how much of a buffoon Trump is, it's because we already settled the question of whether decency and dignity mattered in a president, and the answer was no.
