Gladly.Take a drink.
This needs a sticky of its own, otherwise it will get lost in the sea of DSP.Moderation Note
Hello friends.
Now that I've had some time to look at how this megathread operates, I've decided to begin slightly adjusting my moderation policy. I really prefer a lighthanded approach to things, where voices aren't outright banned and such and my end goal is only to improve the quality of discourse on this thread. I know there are people banned from this thread already by other moderators which I have nothing to do with, I purely work with this thread as it is now.
Having said all of that, I don't really see the need to ban/warn/punish people for simple mistakes unless things get really really out of hand. As far as I see it your account and ability to post on this thread are worthless, anyone can sign up for a new account in 2 seconds. All I ask is that you try to post things that are worthwhile rather than jumping the gun and posting about Phil's fantastic new instagram post that was already posted 2 hours ago.
- Double posting
- I've been fairly leniant with double posting, but from now on I'm not going to bother merging posts for people unless they're worth the time/effort. This means if you double post, whichever post is of higher quality will stay, and the other post will be deleted and you will lose the post. You should edit your post.
- Backtracking
- Bringing up well known facts/incidents that have only just been discussed in the past 1-5 pages will start to get your comment deleted (unless it is worthy or really adds something to the discussion)
- The finger of gout
- Bringing up random people as being Phil's girlfriend etc with highly circumstantial evidence will get your post deleted. Discussing what XYZ person might be like ("I think she's a NEET") is perfectly fine.
- One liners/reaction pics/low quality posts
- Unless your post is particularly funny, if it matches these three things then it'll probably get removed because it adds nothing to the discussion. I realize a lot of people are from Twitter where posting a picture like below is hip and cool, but this is a forum.
![]()
- That shit isn't funny nor does it really add to the discussion.
- Bringing up longstanding rivalries and bullshit
- Unless what you're posting relates to Phil or the DSPhere tangentially in some way, and just seems like some gay homosex rivalry (think BSV + KoP romance) then its gonna get disappeared.
- Alogging
- Alogging is the most serious violation (probably) and will results in shit getting deleted and possible warning points etc.
I also realize that some of these rules will always go out the window when someone posts something worthy of going against these. That's fine.
Another note is about archiving and posting stuff like Tweets. Its great to reference outside things like Tweets, but please include screenshots with your posts so that it saves people from having to load outside links when they could just see a picture of the same thing. If you're going to link websites etc, use a service like archive.fo or archive.io to back them up.
So the end goal with this is simply to increase the quality of posts/discourse on here. If you want to discuss this further or talk about moderation of this thread, or if you want to sperg about your fantastic post that got deleted you can always post in the metathread: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/dsp-board-meta-thread.35727/
Probably asking a bit much, but does anyone have a chart showing the number of patrons ScamArtistPhil has and his Patreon income? I kinda want to see a visual representation of failure that isn't Phil scratching his leg. We can call it 'The Decline and Fall of the Empire of Dirt'
How about we make a sticky in which only you (& mods) can post, and you can share monthly posts on how the Patreon of Hate is doing?Graphtreon shows a long term trend with numbers pulled daily for tons of Patreon pages including DSP's. I keep track of minute-by-minute changes but don't have a link to it to share anymore because I host it at home and it got hammered.

This way you don't need to host anything, and people can just quote the monthly posts to other threads whenever they have points to discuss, it would also make a good info repository. I'm suggesting this because I'm pretty sure you're getting these questions a lot, and it's probably annoying to answer them all.
@neger psykolog Is this possible from a technical stand-point? (Provided SoapQueen1 is interested in this solution of course)

Newest Instagram pic from Phil going to Ikea with his gf.
Already shows half her face, smh
EDIT: Could be that I jumped the gun and the girl in the pic is just a bystander.
or from another country.

The chance of her being from a country without an IKEA is pretty slim though.

The only regions without an IKEA are pretty much Africa, the Middle East, and parts of South America.
While it's possible she's never been to IKEA just because she's never been to IKEA...
A visit to IKEA sort of implies that someone has at some point in their life done household appliance/furniture/whatever the fuck you call plates and pans shopping.
So the implication is (usually correct) that the person is young and likely hasn't lived away from home because they've never needed a cheap piece of furniture.
IKea is pretty popular across the states. It's not like it's a regional thing.
There are 45 in the US according to wikipedia, so that's less than one per state.
I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants to burn that entire forum to the ground but then he'd have to think of another patreon rewardHas the gout one returned to his online safe space at last? It's gonna be a purge of users, posts and maybe topics too
Or she's just from a more rural area. I live in a metropolitan area (Charlotte, NC, which is important for the point of this post) that has an Ikea nearby, and every person I've ever met who has never been is in the generation above me or older. Mid-30s and younger people have all gotten at least one apartments worth from there. Same thing for everyone I know in Atlanta, which has one nearby. Everyone I know is SC, which doesn't have a location nearby, acts like it's some sort of mythical creature that might eat them.
Hell, we just got an Ikea fairly recently. I get all kinds of crazy looks when I say that I've never been in to one, it's like some weird club or something. "You gotta go, man!" Why? So I can wander around and look at unimpressive furniture and shit, or should I go just for the meatballs?
Phil's ladyboyfriend having not been to an Ikea isn't too outlandish. It wouldn't at all surprise me if Phil said "Let me show you something cool..... Let's go to Ikea." like it was some impressive place to bring a date.
