The reason why he killed so few people is that he was not a student of the school and, after sneaking in, was getting ready in the unlocked bathroom. A student saw him and reported it to the teacher who called in a lockdown. He picked off 2 caught in the halls before cops came. It's unclear if he shot himself or was killed by the police.

It's definitely bullshit. People who idolize mass shootings often like to pretend they're connected to the killers in some way.

They don't wear white coats anymore. Khakis and a polo shirt with the hospital's name on it usually.
And government-issued hookers for people planning to kill themselves is a great idea. No way that could wrong because suicidal people never lash out.

EDIT: He mentions declining health, I wonder if he got diagnosed with something degenerative, and decided to clock out and take people with him.
