It is a bit odd someone's immediate reaction to their son shooting up a school would be to raise money, I can only think of a few reasons: dad just wants the money and doesn't really care (e.g. why he couldn't be fucked to write a proper description), actually wants the money to pay for the funeral and just wants the fundraiser to be low key (no description needed), actually doesn't know how to use technology, or some combination of the three.

Not sure which one I'd go with. FuckYou's statements about a shitty home life were probably exaggerated, but maybe this will shed light on if his family really cares, kinda how Terryberry's obituary did with her family.

No one is going to donate due to the circumstances involved. I guess friends and family were a no go. How poor are they that they don't have some money saved up for an emergency? They could just not have anything to spare and be low income. Or maybe they really don't want it to come out of their own pocket. Just have a cheap cremation. Do they still have potter's fields?

Personally I'd leave the body at the morgue, move to a new town and try to start over. Forget this failure of a son. Did he have siblings? It's going to suck if they are still in school. Potter's field is still a thing. It usually occurs when family cannot be found. If a body in a hospital isn't claimed within x amount of time, then the medical examiner picks it up. It's then held there for a few weeks. If it's not claimed by then, the body is cremated and held for possibly up to a year. If it's not claimed by then, it's finally put into potter's field. Usually an arrangement can be made with the city for them to take care of it for a small fee, or sometimes families will casually forget about the person up until a few weeks after the city cremated them.

I saw him a bit more often. He always came off as 2edgy4u and abrasive, and looking back on his posts, he was way too fixated school shootings and the fangirls for them.

His posts in the Serial Killer Fangirls thread showed he was jealous of dead guys and guys in prison having teenage girls lust after them. He was pretty bitter about it.
