The laws were struck down, and the Conservative government passed a new one where it is illegal to buy sex, but legal to sell it, illegal to have a brothel, live off the avails of prostitution, be a pimp or madam and almost impossible to legally advertise sex work.

It protects the prostitutes from johns without making Canada a sex trafficking hotspot, on paper at least.

He is so infantile when someone tries to correct him. As I've been skimming through this thread all over again to help prepare for the soon-to-come Russellpedia, I found one FB post that I'd forgotten about, where he puts something in his resume which someone (very politely) suggests he alter. He starts arguing, she says she's not arguing, then it's several replies from him about "Why are you getting on my case?" and other things that an eight-year-old would say. In the middle of it he does say, "And yeah, I changed it like you said" - so he's heeding her advice, yet he's being obstinate about being told? It's not that anyone is arguing with him, it's his fragile little ego not liking that someone knows more than he. You can see why he couldn't hold onto a paralegal job. (And how the fuck does he think anyone else learns anything in the first place? Fucking motard.) "Okay, okay, I did it, now stop picking on me!" Nice. Next time, try saying thanks, see where it leads you.



Speaking of the Russellpedia or whatever it will be called - a quick progress report here. I've been going through each page, finding the post numbers of actual Russ content (or near enough), so the other person knows where to find it. With 500+ pages, it's easier to delve in when you know, for example, "Page 150 has four Russ FB scans, pages 151-154 are nothing but chat, page 155 has one post, page 203 is where a former co-workers spills the beans on him," etc. We just need to go through it in layers. Russ is such a perfect storm of ridiculousness that he serves as a cautionary tale to everyone on one level or another. And he puts so much work into it, so it's the least we can do! So it will be a few weeks, plus getting past the holidays, but all in good time.

I mean, more importantly, it's a multi-million dollar corporation that has a powerful brand and is a valuable marketing tool for A-listers. Even if Make-A-Wish's entire goal was specifically to provide help to people with mostly cosmetic disabilities that made them drool a lot, Russ still wouldn't have a point because being connected to Make-A-Wish helps a celebrity's brand, while being connected to Russell Greer in anyway is simply a nightmare.
