There are few things I write about that I can't actually stomach and Desmond is one of them, I can barely scan the staggering amount of social media accounts this ten year old has without feeling sincerely revolted, the kind that I have to look away. Desmond is the victim of narcissistic parents and a narcissistic subculture. KF doesn't need to be reminded that this child isn't actually at fault in this scenario, but rather the people around him who enable him to create what amounts to a soft core porn portfolio publicly available for prying pedos, and even worse use him as a pawn to indoctrinate other children into being sexualized into what can best be described as a fetish and perversion for the kind of adults that would be interested in this garbage. "Desmond" (and not the team of adults behind him) has supposedly created a drag club for minors in NYC, from his website bio which is entirely too long, disturbing, and reads like his mother wrote it to assuage her own guilt:
I don't know what kind of useful message someone barely competent enough to wipe their own ass and can't be trusted to work a stove would have to offer anyone, but so long as it normalizes a lifestyle of sodomy, drugs, alcohol and mental illness then it should be platformed and applauded. Some of us are old enough to remember a childhood in which parents sheltered us from sex, would be disgusted by children being made to dress and preform in a provocative manner, and being brave meant climbing a tall tree, or doing the right thing even though it wasn't the easy thing. Now being brave is allowing your forty something year old, fat, mentally ill mother to live vicariously through you.

I can't find his father, Andrew, with a superficial search and I think both his parents might have clamped down on their own social media while broadening their son's after getting a ton of negative attention earlier this month. It's not at all surprising at shes 1. fat, 2. into 1950's fashion, which always goes hand in hand with mental illness from my observation. Note her own insecurities and what she feels is the remedy for them she projects onto her captive child, that she probably also has high hopes for becoming a cash cow. Instead of losing weight so her calves wouldn't be the width of an actual woman's waist from the '50's, she's gone the route of brainwashing her son that all judgement and negativity are bad, even though the kind they're getting in backlash is reasonable and out of concern for his safety, just like any criticism she'd be getting for her weight.
Merry Christmas!

HAUS OF AMAZING
Desmond is the founder of the first ever drag house exclusively for youth, called the Haus of Amazing. His goal is to bring young drag kids, bio queens, drag kings, and anyone else who loves drag together in a safe, positive, worldwide online community. As the community grows, there are opportunities for potential meet-ups and events. Because the drag house is restricted to members age twenty and younger, members can communicate freely and candidly with their peers without the often judgmental interference of adults.
THE AMAZIEST MAGAZINE
Desmond is in the process of developing a magazine targeted at LGBTQ youth called The Amaziest. All content will be created and submitted by LGBTQ youth for LGBTQ youth. He is researching various methods of producing the magazine, as well as a design and layout consistent with his message.
“LET’S GET AMAZINGLY REAL WITH DESMOND IS AMAZING”
Desmond is preparing to launch a new video series on his YouTube channel called “Let’s Get Amazingly Real with Desmond is Amazing”. In this series, Desmond will answer questions and respond to comments, both good and bad, that are sent to him. He wants to encourage viewers to send their most candid questions, hot LGBTQ topics, and critical comments. Desmond feels lovingly supported and self-confident enough to address these issues in a mature, yet fun and entertaining, manner. His motivation is to provide information that will aid and inspire others.

How do you feel your life has changed since this experience?
I am a naturally shy person who would blush and giggle nervously at the mention of getting in front of a camera to strike a pose. Bettina's Pin-Up Class really helped me overcome some of my self-consciousness. I was able to just let go and have fun without judgement or negativity. Now, in situations where I feel unsure or am afraid of being judged by others, I recall what the feeling of letting go felt like and that gives me the extra confidence I need to proceed. I have recently become unemployed and am looking forward to being able to use this same method of recollection and confidence to land a new position with a prospective employer.
