Y'know I kinda liked Kraut and Tea's content when I first discovered it. I thought it was decent for what it was. He's funny, has a funny accent, well educated, provides insight into East Europe, and "shakes his dirt off" as if nothing happened. People identified him as an ex-furfag and called him a brony, his response was (paraphrasing) "there are so many types of furries, why the fuck would one become a stupid pony huh?". He give zero shits, and he isn't spergy. Hence why many others like him as much as I do.

I watched the Frenchman criticizing Kraut's videos and holy shit, I have NO idea where he got his information from. It was jaw-droppingly bad. Like confusing a DNA gel with a Protein gel and completely ignoring twin studies and wanting everything to coincide with molecular genetics and nothing else. It was the dumbest, fedora tipping, pseudo-intellectual shit I've ever seen. He completely dismisses statistical studies like, 'oh this relies on math, not true!'. Its really unbelievable that he's forcing the only proof to be molecular genetics, which is still a young field. We have trouble conclusively identifying genes for complex things like intelligence, behavior and the like. And that's all the proof he wants. What dogshit.

At one point I used to look to these YouTubers as some kind of unfiltered source of information and entertainment. With all the recent shit that's been coming out, it's hard for me not to question their integrity or their supposed intelligence.

At one point, I thought Kraut was just that, funny accent, well educated, and insight into Europe as a whole. It just seems like whenever it came to finding the next stream of $, their supposed levels of intelligence and humor dropped to try to win points with their audience.

I doubt this guy is anything different, honestly. Aside from the whole 4 d underwater chess strategies on defeating the scumbag altright, he has all the motivation to misinform his audience to keep the clicks rolling in for revenue.

These same fans touted their favourite personalities for having better ethics than the people they criticized. THESE SAME PEOPLE are either justifying it or are trying to topic change to avoid their brand of entertainers from social backlash for engaging in hypocritical behaviours.

But if it were them damn es jay dubs, oh, oh no you can't do that. You can't abuse your fans trust for easy money for a scam. That's not okay one bit and we're going to talk all the time about it.

These groups in, and of themselves, aren’t necessarily bad. I can certainly see the value in a group where you could talk with others about a video on which you’re working, looking for sources, information, etc. because someone may have come across a source/information about your topic that you haven’t encountered. However, the problems occur when such groups turn into a way to form a narrative, whether true or false, privately to members’ liking; or they turn it into a way to bully people within the group who break from the “narrative ranks” (for lack of a better phrase); or they turn it into a way to bully people outside the group who disagree with the group or they just dislike the person; or some combination of the 3 abovementioned points.

The thing about Kraut too that hits home is that you see all these fans still defend this shit. What I think some people forget is that Kraut, Jeff Holiday, Lizz Reptile, and most of the other Youtubers in this discord server set the standard. They were the ones screaming at the top of their lungs about doxing and included information you’d find in the phone book in their definition of doxing. They’re upset that people in their audience want to hold them to that standard, but they set that standard. If they couldn’t meet that standard, they needed to keep their lips zipped. In all honesty, it’s quite enjoyable watching people squirm to try and justify why their own damn standard doesn’t apply to them.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the people involved in Kraut’s discord server were usually the people who were most visible in the previous purges of their community?
