why aren't people questioning phil's taxe story asking him for proof, he must of revived letters in the mail multiply of times.

The shit Phil is pulling really burns me because I once had a friend who got sucked into Amway, a multi level marketing pyramid scheme / religious cult. A friend whom I cared about got brainwashed by this cult into giving them his money to sell their shitty overpriced products and buying their Joel Olsteen self help books until he eventually broke off his relationships with his friends and family because he called them NEGATIVE and DETRACTORS. (Those words were written on a dry erase board in my friends room along with other absolutist quotes)

Phil knows what he's doing. He is running a con. Just like MLM schemes his target audience is most likely people in their 15-25 age range because these people just dont know any better. Im more upset at these fans for buying into it because they are the kind of people who will join MLM schemes. They question NOTHING for fear that they will be excommunicated by the only community they feel like they belong to.

I'm just waiting for the bitchfest in January/Feburary. He might not use youtube much, but he'll still whine about ad revenue for the umptenth time. Also a lot of missed goals and the like.

Oh yeah I have no doubt, when you claim you are having trouble you have to pony up proof to make people feel at ease to what they are paying into. This is something he could have remedied by showing some sort of documentation but we all know it's bullshit and Phil knows he doesn't have to because these people literally have blind faith in him. Someone earlier in the day questioned the legitimacy of this fundraiser and one regular said " you just have to believe, phil wouldnt lie to us!" I mean they truly believe this. It's sad that these folks truly spend hard earned money on a person who will just have another reason for taking more from them. Someone or something is always out to get Phil, that is how he states it to them, same as any cult there is always an entity out to harm them and their message.
You are right, he does know what he is doing, but with all cults eventually, the funds dry up and you start to see how unhinged the dear leader becomes when their power and money are stripped from them.

I feel it's less learning and more pushing the envelope mixed with luck. Phil has no reason to stop his behavior if his followers give him money- why would he? If you got $500 for shitting outside, some would trying shitting outside regularly until they stopped getting rewarded. Or maybe go further and shit on someone's lawn for a possible raise. My analogy was a bit :islamic:, sorry in advance.

Phil used to work for a predatory lender. He learned how to doubletalk and lie on a whim to get people to give them money for predatory loans that he knew they would be worse off for getting. He learned this and he has no empathy for anyone but himself. He would fuck his own Mother over to save his hide, he is an insect.

Phil knows his rhetoric. He is not as smart as he thinks he is, but he is smarter than his average paypig and that is all he needs to be. The language he uses is very intentional and that is what I think he's learned. He used to work for predatory lenders at banks and has had practice in retail (which is honestly a seminar in bullshittery). He is a con man and a sneak and picks his words well enough but - yeah - luck and gumption definitely play into it. But when you have thrown all of your options into this one thing, you have no choice but to go balls out. This might just be one of those times where you just let the man take as much rope as he needs to hang himself.

To be fair, I've seen worse. TJ Kirk (The Amazing Atheist) once asked money to pay his electricity bill because he supposedly "invested" all his money on "restoring some classic cars", and then made a video rocking a new expensive leather jacket a couple days/weeks later. He also directly asked for money to impress a girl he wanted to fuck. And TJ makes way more money than DSP.

Shhh. Don't let it trouble you too much. I would say that your disgust over this matter makes you a good person, but maintaining an account on this website kind of puts a ceiling on that. DSP is a sad sight. An empty, cowardly little man who is beyond help, and this rush of donations only forestalls the inevitable. Take @Adamska's advice and laugh everything off. The man isn't some big, bad villain. And most of the donors are either learning the hard lesson to not take a sociopath at face value, or are lifelong suckers who were never going to be swayed anyway. "Cucks" if you would.

Or take your own advice and simply enjoy a sabbatical from the Centre of Drama and Autism.

It is gross I know, like seeing a guy in a brand new car pay for his groceries with food stamps. Look at it this way, someone giving Phil a dollar doesn't knock a dollar off of your check. It doesn't effect anyones life but Phil and the people who donate to him.

Said it earlier, and it is still :optimistic: as fuck, but their may be some fallout from this. For the first time his fans can see clear as day what he made in one night, so come tomorrow or later this week when he goes full on panhandler maybe a few people will get woken up to his song and dance.
