Somebody on reddit announced that they're making a YanSim fangame and instead of just simply saying "Good luck!" or some shit, Alex tried to be a wise about it:

This is just funny coming from him.

Edit: Also no Eva, buying/unlocking some Watch Dogs shit that makes magical hints appear is not a good idea. It is a shit idea, nobody wants to have to unlock the ability to learn how to play your game, and people aren't gonna do it anyway and will instead opt to read a wiki or walkthrough.
This. The only way to understand how to play is through Alex's videos where he spoils all the eliminations (most of which are hardcoded and only work with Kokona anyway). Hints should be something that help the player create their own plan to assassinate the rival, they shouldn't be some sort of extra feature you have to pay for.
Alex said:
50% of my motivation for developing Yandere Simulator is to prove that when I say I'm going to do something, I don't stop until it's finished.
Something something Osana. What's the other 50% though?

>I didn't expect anyone to be hyped for yansim until i proved all 3 of these things

But you didn't prove anything, wtf???

-"Know how to make a game"
AFAIK Alex only worked on mobile games as a QA tester, Alex never said he knows how to make games.

-"Announce a project, commit and finish"
Fun fact, Alex tried like 3 different games (the fighting game, a bad metroid clone and lunar scythe), they never really went anywhere beyond a pathetic incomplete "demo". That's 3 games he never commited and finished.

-You're working and it's going to be cool, many reasons to be excited"
Personal opinion but i don't think a single update Yansim had actually lived to the hype, it's almost shocking how every new feature is underwhelming and becomes boring after you do it the first time.

I know i'm sperging here but it shocks me at how delusional Alex is to genuinely believe that people are hyped because "He proved himself to be a good dev" and not because they just want to see youtubers play more of this meme game.

It's been how many years and his game isn't even close to done. He can't even put the first rival in the game. If I remember correctly he promised that Osana would be implemented by early 2017. Now it's 2018 and she is still a no show. After the mess Hello Neighbor's full release turned out to be, I'm sure Tiny Build doesn't want Yandere Sim to turn out the same way. I hope they either step in and force him off to hire actual programmers, or cut ties with Eva all together.

Also, I hope that fan makes the game and gets it out before Yandere Sim even gets an official release. Screw Eva.

He's just a narcissistic moron who jacks off to his young fans. Nothing will ever live up to the hype unless someone else steps in and fixes it. It was a cool concept for a game, but he's completely ruined it.

The metroid clone wasn't even made by him. It was literally a copy of the game 'Iji' but Alex switched out a few of the character assets for his own badly drawn reskin. [Unless he made another metroid clone I missed?]

Possibly :late: depending on if anyone else has seen this post and since it refers back to the Student Council and his naming tenedencies, but

I found this, and not only am I pretty dang sure those are the student council's original almost names that he neglected to mention his consideration of (because his final method is so much better) but I love his complete brush off of the person's advice with a 'maybe later.'

TL;DR Alex is not putting the extra money towards the game because... reasons. Despite the surplus he refuses to hire another programmer, and when he did work with one he claims that they had an irritating personality, destroyed all of the previous code and had no effect on the game.

Well either the person he hired was a noob whom he shouldn't have hired, or Alex is too busy thinking he is the greatest person in the world to accept any professional help to actually release his game before 2100.

He also flat out says "Most of the Patreon money isn't being spent at all." So get off your high horse and hire people to get the game done!

Also, if he is going to sit on that money why is he still talking about crowdfunding? At this point he'll have more than three times his "$100,000" goal before he is even ready to release Osana (if that ever happens).
