If you look on the videos you can see the lights got put up in his "office" at some point during his break. People usually take photos of decorations after they've been put up and without any real references to timing besides DSP (who isn't exactly reliable) and someone claiming to be under an NDA you're probably never going to get an answer that satisfies you... just yet

Here's an idea: sit on your hands until February when DSP's "real actual girlfriend" shows up. I'm sure there will be plenty of discussion that comes back to this topic.

I'd like to add that the levels of autistic illuminati have risen to the point where such knowledge wouldn't satisfy anybody conclusively, on top of going against your intentions stated at the very beginning. I've seen things from even the first 20 pages misrepresented pretty heavily and that's less than half the shit that's gone down thus far. There are simply too many moving parts and gaps of information for us to create a full comprehensive picture, only bits and pieces with varying likelihoods that can also be misinterpreted by any given individual. Things started out pretty crazy and escalated from there, but looking at the major events I can fathom, none of them require any astounding leaps of faith. That being said, I do put more stock in what MW says than the people who reached out to her after the wind picked this up, but that honestly remains to be seen at this point.

Guess this all would fuck with anybody rolling OCD and :autism:. I'm team #EnjoyTheRide for sure though, and everybody should have unless they actually buy DSP's cover story in its entirety. That being said, I can't help but think we're going to continue to get some quality milk from this saga in one way or another for quite some time.

Exactly. February is gonna be a killer DSP season.

And I agree there are parts and things which make it difficult to form a completely consistent story for a lot of people, that's understandable. The other half of the story so far has been DSP (who isn't exactly well regarded in that department).

When his "real actual girlfriend" gets revealed I have a feeling this thread will be posted in a lot.

It's funny how some people are reacting to this by questioning every detail, when there were occasions when the SoK would make some outlandish claim that people would almost immediately believe wholeheartedly without any evidence.

I'M NOT SAYING THEY'RE THE SAME PEOPLE, I'm just amused by the wide spectrum of reactions to similar situations.

I personally think March and April will be Killer DSP months along with July and August but that's just me. February will still be a fun month though for sure.

Probably because the ability to ask questions on a podcast simply isn't as inclusive as a forum format. On a forum, everyone is more easily able to post/respond to things and nitpick. So if a podcast host chooses to answer/field a few questions from people in chat, then people feel like their opinion matters.

Like DSP's stream, you get your information from him in general, its easy to follow. There's one chain of discussion (and whether he wants to include what people have to say in chat/cheers/tips is up to him and no one else)

So yeah there are positives and negatives to both formats and the reason people are probably asking these questions on page 230 is that they've run out of things to talk about (since she has already been paid). On this thread there must be something like 4-500 accounts that have posted and consider themselves to be an important part of the discussion (and since everyone can post, that is technically true)

The amount of time this "story" has existed is fairly extreme in the scheme of things so people are now coming out of the woodwork to give their 2 cents when they had access to pretty much a similar amount of information since earlier on.

That's also probably why TKOH has its own thread about this entire issue now. The information has spread into the more distant corners of the internet and is now an unavoidable topic of discussion.
