How is this the first I've heard about this?
I'm sure if it's real it's sitting on some hard drive and someone will upload it eventually. Probably sooner rather than later since it's been brought up.
Still, it's very odd to have a screenshot of it but not the actual video.
If you check page 32 or 35 of this thread, the story is that he exposed his phone ip address during a time when there was a super easy phone exploit, someone got on his phone and uploaded some video that was on his phone through his YT app. He prob woke up the next day, saw the vid comments exploding, checked the video then deleted it without a second word. This predates detractors and most reuploads people did to preserve media.
No, i will criticize this statement as I do not think dsps entire staff are just cult-like
I think you aren't alone in this, but you guys have some pretty wrong assumptions about most people's mental state in that community. He does have a minor faux-celebrity vibe to him that sucks in kids, plus an ingroup bias.
Not everyone is entirely blinded by it but they continue going back and doing free mod work because it provides something they need emotionally as well. Depending on how strong that need is they are more or less resistant to breaking that relationship. They may object, but they still login, they have yet to reach the breaking point and still drink the koolaid to some degree even if they have reservations.
@BSV is in a dependent relationship with Phil. He gets approval, and to feel like he's keeping someone afloat, that someone is dependent on him. Based on his pedophilia this is probably a related sexual and psychological problem he has.
If you want to get into real evaluations there is a lot to go on for Phil, but for the sake of assuming people don't want an actual psych breakdown of him, I'll keep it simple: He's a spoiled greedy kid who was sheltered from real life. Now he's putting up the facade for himself, his fans, and his parents of a hardworking entrepreneur while simultaneously using this spontaneous act of god career he has to avoid actually working or living a real life to continue living a worry free life of a child forever. He was never exposed to real life and he is afraid of it. One of the most interesting and telling things about this was his reaction in some video to his homeowner's insurance (or association) sending him repeated letters,
upwards of 12 while complaining he has no idea what they want him to do in the same sentence as saying they want him to buy flood policy. Now, this is a simple matter. Make the purchase and move on. But receiving letter after letter over a period of a long span of time while setting in one special place and ignoring it like a child because you don't want to deal with it. That's hiding from real life. There are tons more examples and the more you watch vlogs and compilations of events in his life the more he hand feeds you the facts about him.
He can't keep his flabby jaw shut.
