Anyway I'm off again because i was watching TV when someone messaged me saying there was a discussion so wanted to check what the fuss was about.

No, i will criticize this statement as I do not think dsps entire staff are just cult-like. BSV is for sure and his hardcore fans but after last night, I feel like his staff are just abused and demoralized. Its like they dont know how to quit because they just want to save phil from his choices. It was a sense of being ignored and not appreciated and watching someone they seem to genuinely care about, shoot himself repeatedly.

Im not sure if they will handle it much longer but phil has mentally fucked this guys up.

This is a decent point. It's easy to see it as us vs them - because that's the way Phil makes it, because it's simple and can easily manipulate people - but really, there isn't a detractor hivemind and there isn't a Phil hivemind either. Phil has a few brainwashed hardcores, like BSV and Jezal but I'm sure most of his fans are normal people.

Phil's a fucking astounding gaslighter. He does it to absolutely everyone. I guarantee you those mods are at least thinking about quitting, but then Phil will chime in with his sob stories. "Oh cammahn, if you leave I'll have to do all the modding and my streams will suffer, ohkay? *snort* And then I'll be at risk of losing my HOUSE again, cammahn dood!" The mods will stay on, but then Phil will immediately revert to browbeating them until the next flashpoint. And the cycle will carry on, the longer it does the harder it'll be to break. That's how he draws in the normies and keeps them there.

TL;DR It suits Phil to keep things simple and to promote an us vs them faction mentality in his fans.

His bubble isn't going to burst. Lots of people or groups have beem callimg his demise since 2012. He's got a pretty solid pipeline developed for generating revenue and it won't stop anytims soon. This is going to be a slow burn; no immense explosion just a slow deterioration.

Don't hold your breath on him crashing and burning, this fucker is resilient.
