This video is so infuriating. "I was in that top tier ad program." What?! You just found out that it existed today and you're now convinced you were in it? He then goes on to do more if his legal-mumbo-jumbo ass pulls and suggests that a private company with preferential contracts might be running afoul of the law. What in the flying funk. . .

DSP tries it: trying to understand where his money comes from
"its so unfair that advertisements cost more to run during the superbowl than they do on my local cable channel! That's actually illegal!"

Phil is pretty masterful and making it seem like he needs the money. His method is to switch up the dangling carrot every once in a while. That way the Jezels and such fall for it. He makes make it seem like they're solving Phil's problems because look, this issue is solved! But he just replaces it with a new issue that pops up. He doesn't extend an issue too long because then fans feel they're not making a difference and they feel no matter what it's not gonna help. The issue comes up, issue solved, issue comes up method however makes them feel that way. It's just bad luck and Phil being screwed over that there's another issue! It's always an issue that requires money too. Like can you name a personal issue of Phil's thats popped up that wasn't the Leanna break up and wasn't money related?

I believe his issues are real but he overplays them. He uses them to his advantage. He deliberately panic modes and makes it seem like the worst thing ever. BUT they are real, so when he's questioned about he he can be like "Look its a real issue" and TECHNICALLY he's right, but it's not as bad as he makes it out to be. He just uses that negative situation as his next excuse to rake in money, using it to his advantage.

In every good lie exists a nugget of truth so that when the liar is called out they can point to what is true to distract from all the bullshit. Well said. He has the best of both worlds, he is too stupid to avoid making trouble for himself and his audience is too stupid to realize most of it is his fault and not that big a deal. DSP's job is not to play video games but to pilfer dollars and cents out of idiots. He knows this much but he totally believes his own horseshit so to him he's not lying at all it's just their responsibility to keep him fed.

guys im not interested in playing dark souls 1 hd

May: guys our new patreon goal is *snort* dark souls 1 hd you guys love the rage i love it too cause its challenging lets try and hit our goal *snort*

. . .o_O. Holy hell they're doing DS1 on Switch. I'll get that just for portable DS, even though the JoyCons do not feel great.

And absolutely he'll be doing this at some point. And honestly why wouldn't he. His problem is that he is focused on "full playthroughs. . ." Everything has to be part of a series of some sort. If his YT ad revenue is so low why not just do Saturday streams of the game off and on. He honestly doesn't understand how having a predictable schedule would actually help his channel, especially for people who are looking for a specific game (like DS for example).

Just a dumb guy.

I would pay to have Snort's Intro and Outro at the Superbowl:

"THIS EVENT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY....

...i prefer a Penne..."

This is true, Phil will tell the truth about A but then lie about B C and D. He'll also exaggerate A to make it seem like the worst thing in the world even though everyone's dealt with similar issues before. Who hasn't had a tax issue, or been trolled online, or been dumped? However after a certain length of time he starts lying about A too. Leanna and I broke up: true. It was mutual, it's pahsitive, we're still on good terms: all lies. Then it becomes, Leanna dumped me, I'm all alone on Thanksgiving, she won't even take her shit with her, she wasn't good to me, etc etc when he needs pity bux.

(DSP vs Damdai, MK9)
Interesting find, prob the most DSP ever complained at a LIVE tournament match. A lot of his usual excuses are on full display here (I couldn't do anything, I was blocking etc)

To his credit, and I hate giving credit to the guy these days, he doesn't seem to be taking things too seriously.

. . .also that video highlights how much more palatable Phil could be if he actually had someone with some charisma commentating with him.

Youtube has had the priority adspace for awhile now. When PDP had his scandal last year he was taken out of ad priority.

I doubt DSP was ever in AD priority I think it is only for top tier youtubers who have agents.

No way he was. He wants us to believe that this ad program is SO secret, that even the people who are in it don't know they are. "I can't believe they did this to me. . ." and his chat swallows it without critique.

DSP has always occupied two contradictory positions in that he was a super popular Youtuber in his heyday, everyone loved his stuff and he got screwed out of everything, while also being a scrappy underdog providing hahnest kahntent that is happy not being a big star because he's TOO REAL. He flip flops between these two positions constantly to suit his argument, whether he's in brag mode or beg mode.

Yet he's always had the king of hate moniker.

I think it's safe to say he never was big enough to be considered for something like that. He just hypes himself up a little bit every time he has to talk about it.

By the end of his YouTube career he'll be saying he was the number 1 channel on YouTube, in fact they called him when they had problems. But he was an underdog still, total underdog.

@SoapQueen1 discovered that BSV's fantastic website "The Internet Police" has been shut down by its host:
http://archive.fo/HGQqm

Basically BSV legit has no money left lol

Full archive is here:

This must've happened around 7-10 days ago, maybe even less, because I remember browsing through it before that message was placed in there.

And I love the fact that the website operator has completely distanced himself from the exceptional shit BSV gave him lol.

From his stream right now: "Why does everyone keep asking me to play Max Payne?!" scoffs "I'm not going to play Max Payne...why would I play that!?"

Because people want to see you play the game and that means more money for your non-business, that's why!

This guy is like an Anti-Paladin of Business.

BSV has the same honor to paying people he owes like Phil did with Kim. And both vendors distanced themselves from them both.
