The fact that nearly 30% said they'd also rape and abuse her, and only 38% said they'd call the cops, is so utterly horrifying that I hope law enforcement are aware of these groups. Some would say they're all cowards and won't ever do anything, which is probably true for the most part. But what about the guy that decides to take out some "normies" and rape a few "stacies" before he an heros? It's only a matter of time before we hear about one of them in the news doing this.

The response of the rest of the board is to ban him, and to claim he was never really an incel and was just a chad who was slumming it out of autism. Apparently he wasn't ugly enough. That post is extremely revealing of the kind of twisted sociopathic morality many of these incels have. He is literally suggesting that the only reason not to kill, rape, or torture, is because of the consequences for oneself. If he's gonna die that day, there will be no consequences, so he sees no problem committing those horrific crimes. Apparently basic human traits like empathy aren't a thing for these people. He mentions empathy as being something "forced" on you, rather than an innate feeling normal humans experience. And they wonder why women don't want them...

OK, I've come to a realization. These guys are somewhat similar to another site branched off of Reddit: Voat. Both, as stated, are reddit offshoots. Both hate feminists. Both whine about reddit not valuing free speech, when the subs from which they came were banned for breaking the rules. Both hate liberals. Both use the term "cuck" unironically. Biggest of all, though, both are echo chambers where anyone who expresses a contrary opinion to the main beliefs of most of the site gets driven off (in the case of both, Voat in particular) or banned. Neither forum is unique in this regard; many forums have become echo chambers where dissenters are driven off and/or banned. There will likely be such forums in the future. I would like to fall back to something Null said in the thread on Voat that really rings true for incels.me as well.

This is the issue of any splinter that breaks off an otherwise neutral site that starts becoming too sensitive. Twitter into Gab, Reddit into Voat, 4chan into 8chan. The resulting site that manifests is too extremist and exclusionary, and it prevents any sort of new "normal" from taking place.

There are really, really good reasons to not like the way that Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and 4chan are ran. 4chan especially is an ""anonymous"" website that is constructed so that you must either post from a domestic IP connection (no VPN, no Tor), or you must buy a pass with personally identifiable CCN info that links all your posts together.

But how do you correct that? If you try to take the people from /r/FatPeopleHate and /r/CoonTown and make a new reddit, you get a reddit entirely about hating people. If you take GamerGate and White Nationalism from 4chan and make a new 4chan, you get 8chan, and a version of /v/ and /pol/ where ONLY certain things are tolerated. You get banned from 8/pol/ for not being a white nationalist. If you take the people getting banned from Twitter (and there are a lot of them), you get Gab, which is essentially a circlejerk for Trump supporters with no long term prospects.

Voat and incels.me are different in some regards as well. For example, incels.me glorifies Muslims, Voat has a hate-boner for Muslims the size of the Washington Monument. But for every difference, there are at least two similarities. The only positive for either one still being up is that it gives these idiots a place to be with like-minded people and not bother the rest of us.
