Chris found some old papers from Bob's workplace.

It's true, though.

Here's the patent. As you can see, it does look like the handiwork of months upon months of extremely high functioning autism. Too bad Chris didn't inherit more of that kind.
No, it's just more evidence for him to brag to trolls about why he's better than them, even though they always retort with the same reply of "That's why HE did, not YOU."

Perhaps it would have been better to actually dig out the push cart's recordings considering Bob always regretted that he lost track of his music.

The thing about him losing track of his music is one of the saddest parts of the CWC canon to me. Poor fucker spent the last years of his life unable to enjoy his hobby because his wife blocked off access to his jazz/folk collection with literal garbage, so he had to humour his adult-infant son talking about whatsits and thingamabobs all day instead.

I'm glad someone noticed this and split it off into another thread.

Read Bob's patent. He had others. This was a really clever one, though.

It answers the question, how do you tell when a train has passed, when you don't even have computers, but just machines, and they have to tell when different train cars pass, with different numbers of axles, etc., and detect and report to HQ what kind of train just passed. He actually figured out that problem.

Unfortunately, the number of mutations in his elderly sperm combined with the DNA damage from drunk Barb led to a tard baby who is now a lolcow. Given a few fewer errors in DNA transcription, Chris might have been an eccentric genius instead of a tarded lolcow.

It’s not the train counter thingie that interests me; Bob’s magical musical pushcart gets me right in the feels. I can just picture poor Bob wandering around that restaurant with his cart, playing his music, desperate for conversation with someone - anyone - who wasn’t Chris or Barb.

As flawed a person as he may have been, he deserved better in what were supposed to be the golden years of his life.
