Culture The Hollywood Sex Pest Megathread - America saw Yewtree and said 'We can top that'

Since the New York Times published its bombshell report last week on the sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein, the number of accusers grown considerably in both number and in severity.

While much of the public’s attention is on high-profile accusers such as Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, the film producer also reportedly took advantage of staffers, aspiring actresses, and other young women in the industry.

Emily Nestor, for example, was a temporary front-desk assistant when Weinstein reportedly said he’d boost her career if she accepted his sexual advances. Another Weinstein employee, Lauren O’Conner, penned a scathing memo to the company detailing more alleged abuse.

“I am a 28 year old woman trying to make a living and a career,” she wrote, according to the New York Times. “The balance of power is me: 0, Harvey Weinstein: 10.”

In a New Yorker exposé published on Tuesday, 16 current and former staffers told Ronan Farrow, that, in his words, “the behavior was widely known within both Miramax and the Weinstein Company.”

We want to know if there are more victims out there who were not given the chance to speak out.

If you feel you have been personally abused or harassed by Weinstein at any time during your career, send an email to carla.herreria@huffpost.com to talk about it.

Aziz Ansari apparently doesn't know that "no" means "no."
I love bringing up this tweet in situations like this:

I'm really wary of blinds more lately. But when I saw Nickelodeon as a possibility I am hoping it's Schneider.

Keep An Eye Out For CBS Abuser

[Naughty Gossip] Ronan Farrow and The New York Times are both working on a MASSIVE new sexual abuser story!

They are both calling sources and employees at CBS to break the story on one of the biggest names.

The person they are investigating is as big as Harvey Weinstein!

This is going to shock the industry!!!

BG Note: CBS is a huge company, so this blind item could involve someone from any number of companies, including Viacom, Nickelodeon, The CW, CBS Television, CBS Radio, CBS Sports, Paramount Television, Simon & Schuster, or Showtime.

So CBS doesn't necessarily mean the television network itself. It can be any of their companies.

If this has any merit to it, please please be Schneider!

However, someone on LSA linked it to these tweets where people are saying it has to do with Sean Penn's relief efforts in Haiti. So if that's true it doesn't look like it's Schneider. But if it has to do with CBS maybe he'll be pulled down with others who are involved.

*editing because I misread. James Franco is linked to Diane Jenkins who in turn is linked to Sean Penn and the Haiti thing. And many people have their eye on Jenkins now. She is a Bosnian refugee who now works as a philanthropist.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanela_Diana_Jenkins

Sanela Diana Jenkins (born in 1973 as Sanela Ćatić in Sarajevo) is a Bosnian entrepreneur and philanthropist. She currently resides in California.[1] Jenkins fled her home country during the Siege of Sarajevo and emigrated to London, where she studied at City University, London.

Early life
Born in Sarajevo, Jenkins is the elder of two children in a middle-class Bosniak family. Her mother was an accountant and her father was an economist. She grew up in the concrete-block apartments that characterized communist-era Yugoslavia.[2] Jenkins studied economics at the University of Sarajevo, but the outbreak of war in 1992 forced her to flee her home and spend more than a year in Croatia as a refugee before emigrating to London.

Career
While still a student in London, she acquired the swimwear line Melissa Odabash.[3]

She produced a photography book entitled "Room 23", photographed by Deborah Anderson. Many of the celebrities in the book are friends of Jenkins, including George Clooney and Elton John. Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit several philanthropic programs.[4]

Philanthropic activities
Diana Jenkins established The Irnis Catic Foundation in 2002 in memory of her brother who was killed during the Bosnian Conflict. The foundation provides essential funding to the medical facilities at the University of Sarajevo. In 2009, Diana Jenkins was awarded the Peace Connection prize by the Center for Peace and Multi-Ethnic Cooperation.[5] Past winners have included Bono and Nelson Mandela.

She established the Sanela Diana Jenkins Human Rights Project at the University of California, Los Angeles in August 2008.[6] The clinic concentrates on legal advocacy, political advocacy and documentation.[6] It is the first endowed program on international justice and human rights at any law school in the western United States.

Immediately following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Jenkins and actor Sean Penn established the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization to deliver hospital supplies and provide medical care to thousands of displaced Haitians. She compared the long-term recovery in Haiti to that in Bosnia,[7] highlighted the need for basic humanitarian aid,[8] and argued that the U.S. military should not leave the country prematurely.[9]

In March 2010, Jenkins posted bail for former Bosnian President Ejup Ganić, who was detained in London on a Serbian extradition request.[10]

Personal life
In 1999, she married banker Roger Jenkins. The couple met at the gym at the Barbican, where Jenkins was living after the end of his marriage to his first wife, a banker at Barclays. They have two children together.[11] She received an estimated £150million after her ten-year marriage to Jenkins. The estranged couple called their 2011 split as ‘the happiest divorce ever’ and she joined him among Britain’s wealthiest 500 individuals in 2012.[12]

Dunno if stuff about her is more cray cray for clicks or not. Because I've heard some really crazy stuff about Jenkins that just sounds made up.

Liam Neeson's coming forward with his own thoughts.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/n...arassment-scandals-a-bit-a-witch-hunt-1074585

Liam Neeson Calls Hollywood Sexual Harassment Scandals a "Bit of a Witch Hunt"

"There's some people, famous people, being suddenly accused of touching some girl's knee ... and suddenly they're being dropped," Neeson told an Irish broadcaster.

Actor Liam Neeson says the Hollywood sexual harassment scandal has sparked "a bit of a witch hunt."

Asked about the issue on the Irish broadcaster RTE, Neeson said: "There's some people, famous people, being suddenly accused of touching some girl's knee or something and suddenly they're being dropped from their program."

He referred to U.S. radio presenter and writer Garrison Keillor, who was dropped by Minnesota Public Radio last year over an allegation of "inappropriate behavior." Neeson said that wasn't the same as the "other Harvey Weinstein stuff." Neeson also said he was "on the fence" regarding sexual misconduct allegations against Dustin Hoffman.

But the 65-year-old Taken star also said in Friday's Late Late Show that the "#MeToo" movement taking place "across every industry (is) healthy."

Speaking of Diane Jenkins, If any one wants to go down the rabbit hole, here's a thread for that. https://web.archive.org/web/2013051.../sad-bi-even-more-shocking-story-cdan-374995/

The long and short of it is Diane Jenkins is a secret Hollywood Madam and pimps out actors and actresses to the highest bidder. To quote Himmm, "Arabs, Wall Street, DC, Royals, and Hollywood elites". She's got a lot of money and does do some Charity work. She released a book near the start of the decade for Charity and rumor has it, its essentially a catalog for the folks available. See here: http://www.room23thebook.com (requires flash unfortunately)

Some general info from voat if you don't want to sort through that 80+ page thread:

I can at least believe an actor or actress claim of molestation at a young age since that's very common in Hollywood and someone at a young age would at least be more of a prey for adults in Hollywood and are more vulnerable than a grown woman.

I didn't know about the Duggar thing. The whole family is creepy. But it looks like a few of the girls are living better lives now. It's just too bad that they had to get married so young to do it. I can't remember which (it's the damn J names) but there are pics of her with a nose ring wearing a short skirt and another where she is wearing pants.

You've got to wonder how many other things Oprah has kept a lid on all these years. The Duggar thing is especially bad since Oprah was the victim of incest as a child herself.

I'm thinking that the question was about Feldman too.

From what I've read Haim and Feldman were only close for a very short period of time. And they were never best friends. Haim had real friends and none of them were Feldman. It's likely that a lot of their so-called BFFness was for publicity. They were huge in the 80s and pairing them up as best friends was probably very good for PR purposes and selling magazines.

Supposedly Feldman was jealous of Haim and set him up to be molested. I always thought that was a little much. But from what I've been seeing about what a lying scammer Feldman is I wouldn't put anything past him.

It's bad enough he had everyone on a crazy vegan diet. But he was also refusing them food. Courtney's raw vegan cuisine rivals the horrors of The Fit Vegan Ginger. But at least it's food. Kind of.

I'll post her nauseating instagram again: https://www.instagram.com/courtanne89/?hl=en

But $4000 is insane. I keep hoping they will wake up. But that's not gonna happen. They are all over social media gushing about Feldman and complaining about the "haters". He's really got his own perfect little army going.

What thing has he done to save children this entire time he's been going public about child abuse in Hollywood?

Does anyone remember that brand or whatever that actresses and models were paid to endorse in the middle east? A lot of people believed it was a front for prostitution since the company couldn't possibly be making enough money to pay that much for endorsements.

138 Water?
I don't know about the middle east, but there are plenty of rumors that they're a front for an escorting business.

Oh, yeah. That's the group where tons of actresses would work at for some reason.

Jenkins is prettty interesting for her Hollywood ties, especially how things have been hushed up about her usually considered above reproach friends (namely Sir Elton and Clooney).

Also how a supposedly stuggling refugee student met Roger Jenkins (Barclays executive) in the first place. She was the one introducing him to middle eastern Sheiks.

For such a "woke" guy, he sure has a hard time saying "I'm sorry" just like every other dude in his situation.
Aziz Ansari said:
In September of last year, I met a woman at a party. We exchanged numbers. We texted back and forth and eventually went on a date. We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.

The next day, I got a text from her saying that although "it may have seemed okay," upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned. I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking the time to process what she had said.

I continue to support the movement that is happening in our culture. It is necessary and long overdue.
