Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Now, this isn't necessarily SJW art. However, something about this just screams Tumblr. It could be the girl with the half-shaved hair. Or, it could be the Adventure Time knockoff style. Perhaps, however, it could be the title, which gives off the vibe that this will be blatant feminist garbage.

One of the characters is a tranny and there is at least one lesbian relationship.

So the author crossed out a line about God in the LumberJane pledge (that SHE wrote) in order to make an anti-religion joke. Why mention God in the pledge you wrote anyway unless you were trying to be intentionally antagonistic by scribbling it out?
This isn't something scribbled onto the page by a random person, that is actually printed in the book.

The art work is so generic and ugly.

Maybe it's just meant to be a joke to do with the specific character? :optimistic::optimistic:

Wow, it took four people to make this? It doesn't exactly make female writers look good when four of them working together come up with something like that and it gets as much recognition as it has.

There are female writers out there who write, pencil, ink, and color everything themselves whose IPs are ten times better, but you don't hear about them because their comics don't revolve around indentity politics and aren't made by Tumblr "celebrities".
I feel as though the 'redesign' is bait made to get a reaction of tumblr types, although if it's 'legit' the salt and attention its getting is still quite a laugh

anyway

It's the color choices. The whole spectrum of ugly shades of pink, from Overcooked Salmon to Clitoris Red, is represented here.

From what I saw of the book when I looked through it at Barnes and Noble, the pledge is right at the beginning of the book and even scattered throughout, all with the same scribbling over it.
Even if it was meant to be scribbled by the main character, the whole thing comes off as an unessecary middle finger. If you don't like the concept of God, than whatever. But do you have to go out of your way to write him into a pledge for your fictional Girl Scouts only to scribble the line out? Just comes off as petty and bitter.
Then again, I've come to expect shittons of pettiness from Tumblrites. It's not that big of a surprise that she'd go through the effort to take a stab at Christians. It's kind of Tumblr's job.

Isn't this the artist who was super super famous on tumblr for making doodle comics about generic 'nerdy' stuff like Dr who and Avengers? Some of the jokes were genuinely cute. Even though she fits typical tumblr she is very inoffensive. Last time I heard of her she got scammed by the Dashcon organizers, who invited her in and pretended to make her pay for everything. So this is what she's up to? Kinda sad.
