Its a bit difficult to say when the comment was made or if its just shitposting because there are no dates and its kind of almost impossible to even roughly estimate a date (I'm guessing somewhere between 2012-2013).

DSP is so famous he got picked up by the Portuguese press in relation to his comments about the Logal Paul autism:

Irate Gamer last I saw has even quit doing video game reviews since folks got tired of the act. I did chuckle at his "History of Video Games" and it was taking him years to even get 4-5 parts done. You could sense he wasn't happy doing the act anymore and just quit.

If insulting game developers, fans of game series and people who actually know how to play the game can be called recommendation. Also, the only tutorial he can give is how to fail at character generating and how to rage quit at the final boss after five months of boring as fuck gameplay.

Fuck you Phil. I know people, much worse off than you, that still work even though they're in constant pain.

Come back when you actually put in a literal full day's work because it's crunch time and it's all hands on deck. You don't get to be sick during that time. Your boss is even working overtime and you've got people taking naps under their desks because they've been there for twenty hours. That's life when you actually need to produce something. Fucking headache and can't stream. What a wuss.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo only had a home console port to the 3DO at the time. This was the fifth iteration. What everyone had was the fourth one entitled Super Street Fighter 2 on SNES and Genesis.

Differences included throw teching, super meter, added normals and specials (Blanka and Dee Jay being the most noticeable), mini portraits below the health bar, and Akuma as a hidden yet playable boss.

So yeah, at the time if you didn't have a 3DO, you were hitting the arcade to play this. The PS1 version (Neo Geo conversion of Street Fighter) came out a little while after release. And we all know how that plays.

To be fair, it's hard to "work" when your office is your living-room and when you're your own boss. Under this situation you don't get the urge to do something important. Like it says: Don't put your working space in your jerk-off-room. I think this is one reason why a few youtubers actually rent a real office, so they are forced to work. Like Game Grumps.

However, his quality is shit even when he's healthy under his definition. So I don't think there would be a big difference. Except he would actually get funny, just like when he's drunk; I heard. But for him as a money grabbing whore I'm really surprised he smacked himself a timeout.

I really wonder which person with some kind of higher standart would be interested in his current condition. Who reads his Twitter and goes: "Yeeees, soon Phil will entertain us again"? And "Yeees, I need twenty more tweets about Phils condition, gooood"?

fun fact. Prior to moving to washington DSP considered renting an office to game with John Rambo and produce content.

That is the IG now. He does crappy toy reviews for kids. HE also has a spin off channel in which he ACTUALLY plays with toys.

So, in a way, maybe, maaaaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee DSP isn't as bad off as it could've been. But what's worse, doing shitty videos playing with toys for children.... or begging for money every day?
