I was thinking it would be more like how anti-depressants cause men to become cuckholds instead of killing themselves out of shame. And how Felicia Day sets back womens rights 50 years.
Antidepressants are supposed to boost serotonin and that should help you act a bit more assertive, according to Jordan “Lobsterman” Peterson.

When did this mouth thing become a... thing?

Felicia is acting normal within her sex. Wheaton is exhibiting(and consistently exhibits) the unconscious cues of Sanpaku Eyes yet again. Truly unhinged.

Again, I can't stress enough that these people have absolutely no reason to feel superior to UGH STUPID FLYOVER DRUMPF VOTERS.

Wil was the annoying kid who everyone hated on star trek 20 years ago, and Felicia is a glorified booth babe who got her """career""" by showing off cleavage (which isn't even that great btw) to the right beta males. Do these people contribute anything to society, especially compared to the oil-drillers, coal-miners, plumbers and small-town cops they lord over? No.

So, in conclusion, I think I speak for all of us when I say shut up, wesley.

Wil is more or less the spokesman for "nerd culture" as a commercial enterprise. He's less a geek and more an icon of conspicuous consumption at this point- which at the end of the day is really what commercialized geek culture is. Ultimately he's the slimy capitalist pig that he likes to rail against to virtue signal. Day is very much the same- they're people committed to "celebrating" a culture of selling stupid plastic shit to consumers.

It can also kill the hell out of your sex drive. (Which would explain both Wesley and Dobson)

@flossman Your pet spastic got out of his cage.

Why's that? Wasn't she just really bland and forgettable?

I never really got the hate for Tasha Yar personally. She never really bothered me all that much.

However, I can see why fans hate her:

1. She wasn't really necessary, especially when you had Worf, who was a much better and more fully developed character, and her existence essentially pushed Worf to the sidelines.

2. In a galaxy where all sorts of strange shit happens, every Tasha Yar episode has 5 minutes of aliens being absolutely dumbfounded that a woman is chief of security.

I found Troi (the ship's counselor/ half-alien who is an empath) to be far more irritating. Every Deanna Troi episode featured such stunning insights as:

*Worf yells in Klingon*

"I sense that Worf is very angry and upset now."

"I sense greed in their hearts" while talking about the Ferengi (aliens obsessed with commerce; they forbid personal vendettas because they aren't profitable)

"Careful, I sense deception from the Romulans" (aliens who are infamous for cunning and deception)

TNG sperging aside, I can't get over the fact that this is a man who is fast coming up on 50, yet he still acts like a troublesome little manchild.

Resume TNG sperging- this got my hopes up so much when I first saw it as a kid:

"very cool, very cool"

I thought she was fine for the short run she had(one out of seven seasons). She spent just enough time proving that a woman could be Head Security, despite it making way more sense for the Klingon to do it(and was much more satisfying when he took over). Plus it gave the crew a reason to mourn her and have two throwback episodes with a flashback and her twin sister on her homeworld.

I guess she was more interesting when she was gone, than if she had been an all-seven-seasons cast member.
