Was it really that hard to clean the area before you took your first promo shot for the chair? What happened to that business degree that you had, Phil?

He's using the same setup as in the condo. He hasn't spent a dime on improving his "business".

Actually Geoff The Hero was moderately famous before the famous you're talking about.

Geoff was a part of the "Gamelife" which was a "major" YouTube channel which started around the time YouTube first started getting very popular. So he pretty much became famous by the exact same way DSP did.

They were old-world famous in that companies like MTV/Viacom offered them an entire TV show, they got flown out to game lauinches and events etc.

For the last pic, dude's arguing semantics and insulting the guy just like Phil would.



Edit: He just retweeted another one judging detractors, namely the SoK, calling them losers. Even though this guy was on the SoKast for a few hours hating on Phil.

When he gave money to DSP during the tax saga (sigh, so sad the escort saga didn't end up being true & authentic) I searched into him a bit more. He has called out DSP multiple times as being a shithead in the past.

So either he's just trying to be relevant again, just shitposting and giving DSP money because its funny (lets face it a bunch of people literally crying every time DSP gets a dollar is more entertaining than anything else in life) or he's forgiven DSP and wants to make authentic italian babies with him.

Not even 10 days ago and he was posting videos of DSP on his Facebook page where DSP is doing "da button doesn't work"

All of these chair companies just bulk buy chairs from China. It's not really surprising.

Someone mentioned that their website is only up since 17 december. I guess they had no time to order the branded ones from china and just went with the (now deleted tweet) "they care about confort, not branding"

Edit: I remember Dec 2016 is when he started being "friends" with DSP to his face and he was genuinely sympathetic towards Phil for detractors making fun of him during Christmas.. Like there's any difference between making your name through years of YT videos making fun of DSP and doing it on Christmas because it's such a special amazing day.

Probably not their first rodeo. Buy a bunch of super cheap chairs, send a couple to fringe streamers, sell them off at a huge markup to idiots, close the company when the negative reviews roll in, repeat under a new name.

Looks like the chair company deleted all their tweets that were under dsp's announcment tweet. I saw at least 2 where they assured his fans that they know about the negativity. Its gone now.

Nah, i dont think they care that much. They probably took the risk of doing this, sent him 1 shitty chair in hope of his stupid fans buying one. If he can sell 2 chairs, then they got their money back basicly.

Here's an obvious shell company that buys brand-less chairs off of other sites, marks them up and re-sells them.....and I have 0 doubt Phil DEMANDED a written contract from them. Complete with an anti-slander clause! Because of his reputation and massive negative footprint on the internet he now, most likely, has to go through and entire legal process to make sure he's protected by a scam operation while promoting them like they're some legit company.

I'm dead.

Chair shenanigans aside, I'm also a little blown away by this. Not sure if this has been commented on, but here I go. I looked on DSP Teespring out of morbid curiosity, and saw this.

I do remember back in the day that Phil's banner had the same design, but now he's actually selling what is literally just the Darksign image from Dark Souls, with the words DSP slapped under it. I'm not usually one to bring up the legality of something like this, but is this even allowed? I've only ever seen large-scale websites even attempt to use what I assume are images that may be part of copyright, and even then, they try to put some form of change to it, to avoid any issues (chibi artstyle, plain text which can't apply, just references to jokes/memes from the series).

I doubt FROMSOFTWARE or Bandai Namco would care about DarkSydeNobody doing this, but where does he stand by actually selling something which is blatantly an image belonging to someone else, and awkwardly shoving his online handle underneath it? Probably late, but I noticed it, and was kind of stunned by the sheer lack of shame in Phil deciding to charge money for this.

I wouldn't ask why Phil did it. That can be answered, rather easily. I would ask this "legit chair company" why, instead. Regardless of being a scam, if you're just starting out and you can pretty much send chairs to ANYONE to promote you, why of all people Phil?! And why would you publicly state that you know of the slander against him and don't care?! Is he really THAT worth it to them??
