He couldn't take a nice comment if his life depended on it. In this case, he takes his latest catfish complimenting his positive attitude as an implication that he used to be negative (which he was, and the reason why he himself made the goal to be more positive) and got all shady about it. Can't even be positive about his own positivity, yikes.
