Multiple people have been injured in an active shooter situation at a high school in south Florida, police confirmed.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is responding to the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

The Coral Springs Police Department is asking students and teachers to remain barricaded inside until police reach you.

According to WSVN, at least three people were seen surrounded by first responders and one person was seen being wheeled into an ambulance. There are reports of up to 20 injuries.

I haven't heard anything about a Manifesto yet. And it's exactly the abuse of the word you described that makes actually identifying terrorism and preventing it so much harder. They are evil, but they are a specific kind of evil that not everybody who does something bad fits into.

From what I gathered, the kid was a walking mental case before the shooting. He caused problems and broke things ( appearently he once brought a machete!). In the end he got expelled, but the teachers were told he wasnt allowed to enter the school with a backbag.

Turns out they were right about him. Too bad it was too late before they could do something.

I'm not even kidding in that this thought crossed my mind that a smart school shooter would pull something like that and I decided not to share it with anyone cause I didn't want anyone to get any ideas. Well I guess it doesn't matter much at this point

I'm sure the staff at this school all KNEW this kid was a nutcase, but because of the the way preventative measures against this bump up against the rights of people in this country, there was absolutely nothing anyone could do about it.
