If she was still driving the TT as her main car then this type of nonsense excuse might be what she was doing, but seeing as she's the humblebragging present owner of a Porsche it really can't be that.

I think it's more like that the dumb fucker didn't know that Ferdinand Porsche had such close links to Hitler. Because she has the new Porsche on order she's been obsessively doing Porsche related searches and has finally seen what any car guy knows. So she's got worried that she's going to get trolled about buying a Nazi car so has randomly thrown this up on twitter to avert that.

That doesn't work though. Having a crazy person derail your campaign just means you were wrong for hiring him in the first place. Warren doesn't even hide his craziness, he displays it for all to see.

I think the reason Warren has the job is because he's the only idiot who is prepared to do it. Without Warren they have zero chance of getting the signatures. The cost for buying the services of a company to get the sigs is way out of their scampaign budget. Warren is their only hope.

I know for a fact this is true. She tried to hire other people, and most people wouldn't even talk to her. Lynch probably seemed like an amazing stroke of luck.

Warren is probably simply crazy attracting crazy and not in any way some well thought out plan. Wu uses him because he showed up and offered to do Wu's work. No further thought, research, due diligence, planning or even paying attention to what Warren says or does was involved.

Anyone who would do this and has the connections to do it properly already has connections to the party machine. There's probably a dissenting faction or two who would back a primary opponent against Lynch, even one who couldn't win, but a complete unknown and total failure like John is not that candidate. Anyone backing that dude would be ostracized forever.

After this spectacle of incompetence comes to an end, what do you guys think Brianna's next foray into failure will be? My money's on either motivational speaker/self-help author, or e-sports team owner. Although that's mostly wishful thinking on my part.

Indeed, wishful thinking. It would be an absolute riot, don't get me wrong, especially the e-sports team. The unfortunate fact is that each of those would require actual legitimate effort on Flu's part, and that shit just ain't happening.
 
Pretending to write a book. Cunt will crowdfund it and she'll probably get 10 or 20k. That scam will last a few years but no one would publish it with so many lies. She'll probably have 5 hardbacks printed to be able to put it on her fantasy CV.

The greatest thing she can do is retire from public life and announce that her and Frank are trying for a baby.

Writing a book has been what I thought would be Brianna's next step after this shit from the beginning. However, I don't think we'll ever see John crowdfund anything again. For one, a part of him has to know that he's lost a ton of clout over these endeavors to the point that it's unlikely he'll get a significant amount of money again. The dropoff on campaign donations show that much. For another, John hates having any degree of accountability or expectation of work put on him. The Rev60 Kickstarter may have given him a little bit of play money and allowed him to drag his feet on a product that was far from his vision, but it also opened him up to all sorts of attacks that he couldn't easily deal with.

Besides the fact that he can pretend to be writing his book for years, I think one of the big reasons he might consider it is because he can use the novel to establish the "canon" for the Brianna Wu character. With a completed story to seed his Wikipedia page, it'll be easier for him to maintain the lies he spews about his life (and remember them) while also "damaging" the credibility of nasty rumor-mills like our site.

On the other hand, he and Frank did purchase a lot of expensive recording equipment. Maybe Brianna will take a shot at becoming the next Michael Moore? If he does go down that route, at least he could repurpose his Patreon account to try and breathe some life back into it.

I'm also guessing she'll pretend to be writing a book. It lets her use that in all her tweets like running for Congress does. She can say "I'm writing a book on this".

Either that or she'll write the occasional guest post on a site for no money and claim to be a journalist.

It will definitely be weird after the election. Game studio has been dead for years. Tougher and tougher for her to pretend she's not the unemployed leech she is.

At some point last year, John let it slip that he's open to running again in 2020 when this campaign fails. No idea if she still feels that way with only a pittance of funds in the account and most of the establishment avoiding her, but that's always on the book.
