How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Because "Hairy, piss-yellow thumb" is just so aesthetically pleasing.

Probably because the 4th is the amendment that prohibits search and seizure without a warrant, which would almost certainly be required in the event that the 2nd is ever repealed, but since when has Bob bothered to learn about the inferior things he hates?

Also, Bob? Being able to count... That's not something you should be especially proud of, man.

It is only a dictatorship when the target is a bad target.
Reminds of me of all the people who lost their minds over the PATRIOT Act when Bush '43 was POTUS but became oddly quiet when Obama was elected.
Almost like the problem wasn't the power itself but who was wielding the power. Rule 1 of self proclaimed Libertines. It's not an abuse of power when My Guy is using said power against My "Enemies". Our beloved Footless Furher is more than enough proof of this rule.

What parent would bring their sick kid to a movie theater?

Also, "entitled bitch" is something only a true feminist would say.

Cause that won't get old fast.

Really Bob? Your going to say that guy looks like a dork when this photo is still prominently floating around the internet:

Y'know? This costume not only shows how dorky Bob is, but how lazy he is as well. If this is your favorite character, Bob, why not put more effort into portraying him? Why not make the overhalls buttons big and yellow? Why not get a shirt that has the same shade of red that the cap fabric does? Why not have a custom "M" patch made for the cap instead of printing the M on a button and pinning it on? I could have respect for someone like the Tron Guy, because, even though he looks like a dork in his costume, he at least put some effort into it; sewed el wire onto it, custom-painted it and got a helmet. That must've taken him hours. I could make Bob's costume by rummaging through a thrift store for 15 minutes.

I dunno if this is going to make a difference in anything, but here’s the video where that pic is from. The man (who goes by iraqveteran8888 ) was intentionally trying to as overtop as he could when modding his AR-15, because he was satirizing people who do that do their guns, then go to a gun range to show everyone how “badass” and “cool” they are. I would try to send it to Bob himself, but I know he’ll never watch and won’t take the time to educate himself about the people he’s talking about.

Bob probably gives off huge pervert vibes to the other theater goers who see him sitting there all fat and by himself in the back row.

Bob, look- you're in way over your head on guns. I mean the things you're even supposedly an expert on...vidya and movies...you're pretty fucking clueless about.

:autism:: And for Jason Taylor- you know that guns aren't imbued with magic power? A magazine of 9mm in the chest will make the active shooter just as dead as someone with an AR could make her. In fact, his argument could be switched around to something more like "Well, if they're gonna bring AR's...maybe the teacher should have the same."

Although with school budgets being what they are, they'd probably get Ugandan AKs.

I will admit that my gun knowledge was mostly just from being around them most my life and working at jobs that regularly puts me around them, even with that my knowledge isn't vast and couldn't take apart and put one back together yet. Still with that I could see that video and realize that the man was trying to be a monster tard and most at the range would see him that way. Anyways, Bob of course is being Wolfgang Don't Know Fuck and should just hobble off to his know nothing, dark corner of the internet.

Yes, it's probably been done before.

I'm really not surprised to see Bob defend OMD. He can't handle characters changing and moving beyond his preconceived notions. (See Mario.) I'm also not surprised he doesn't like Peter and MJ being married. His attitudes toward marriage and family are disturbing and it's far more mature than anything he could handle.

I repeat: Spider-Man is (or was) too mature for Bob. Spider-Man. That is simultaneously sad and hilarious.

Can someone who knows comics explain to me what the whole Diamond monopoly thing is?

Also, love the logic: “Why isn’t this enormous coprate monolopy using its power to take out this smaller coprate monopoly?” Like ??????

Alright, if you want the FULL detailed story, I can't recommend enough SFDebris' video essay on the comic crash. Here is the playlist.

If you want JUST the video on Diamond...

These people literally think guns work like RPG weapons, where a Glock 9mm only does 1d8 while the Mighty High Schooler Bane AR-15 +4 does like 2d12.

I'm not surprised that he would think like that either. He only likes Spider-man in a superficial level. Never into a personal, or emotional level. Since he has never been in the situations Peter has been. He has never struggled to get some things right. Bob never has struggled to get love since his abrasive nature makes him blind. The marriage was a natural next step for the characters. RYV is one of the MOST popular elseworld Spidey stories for a reason. Also I can't buy him reading the BND run since he missed the fact he wore 2 armors during that run. And acted annoyed that the MCU was adapting the Iron Spider suit. He's just BSing to look good in the eyes of Nash, and Linkara.

The playlist @Flexo linked to may have covered this, but I thought it should be with saying. Vendors could ship unsold inventory back to the publisher for a refund back in the days of the newsstand, which was prone to fraud and even nearly caused Marvel to go under in the seventies before Jim Shooter took the reins of editor-in-chief. That changed with the specialty comic shops, which could not send their unsold inventory back and thus took the brunt of the financial risks. As such, many shops closed when the speculator bubble burst in what you could call a retail extinction event. What Bob presumes is that Disney could force "mainstream" retailers want to stock up on comics. Here's hint: they don't.

While it may be anecdotal evidence, I have witnessed the magazine sections of grocery/convenience/drugstores shrink over the past two decades. I used to be able to buy quite an assortment of books including Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Captain America, Avengers, and even Green Lantern for a while at my local 7-Eleven and Safeway in addition to Sonic the Hedgehog (and spinoffs), X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman. You will not find any them on a spinner rack anywhere. All I see are Archie Comics (mostly in digest form) and even that is growing rarer.

Both retail stores and print media are in a precarious position now with the Amazon becoming more dominant and I doubt Wal-Mart really wants to start stocking up on Marvel Comics because Disney told them to. No SANE retailer would stock up on comic books if they could not send unsold inventory back for a refund. If Disney smashes Diamond's monopoly, the only place you would likely see Marvel Comics is at the Disney Store with DC decimated and smaller publishers like Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Boom, Oni, etc. out of business. Don't count on digital delivery to save the medium either because I have a sneaking suspicion that it is not as big a deal as Bob would like to thing.

While I lament the state of the industry, especially when manga on the other side of the Pacific sells by the millions in a country with less than half the population of the United States, Bob shows no understanding of the larger issues. Then again, should I expect any less from this corpulent ignoramus?

That would defeat the whole show premise of a team working together to defeat a planetary threat. Has Bob ever tried thinking about what he wants to tweet before doing so (likely a rhetorical question)?

Honestly, as someone who has watched the show they have done stupid shit like this before. It wasn't done on purpose as much as it was done do to faulty writing or other behind the scenes issues.

You know, even though Linkara is a major cow, I never really thought he was a dumb human being. I always thought he was just a weirdo who behaved oddly, and while I don't agree with all his analysis's or criticisms, he still was able to comprehend things in a decent way.

Seeing him communicate with MovieBob and have an actual conversation with him makes me rethink him not being a moron in my eyes.
