I think a likely explanation is that the person who wrote that letter just got the year wrong. Roger would have been 42 if that DOB was correct and those pictures certainly didn't look like they were of a 42 year old. But it's also totally weird that anyone working for the hospital, who would have access to his records and personal information, would get his DOB wrong unless they were given a false one to begin with.
Something doesn't smell right about this, and it's not just the grime and filth in the Slater-Schumacher residence.

Granted I'm not in the US, but I can't see any hospital issuing a letter like that. They don't get involved in private issues - why would any hospital care if Lurch is injecting the rent?

This is the kind of move a huckster would make. I don't know if the letter is supposed to be from a hospital or some social services agency, but neither is likely. Why would any external agency put themselves in the position of being dragged into court, which is where these bums are going to end up fighting eviction.

I dunno if the letter head was visible, but they're easy enough to mock up or its easy enough to filch a piece of paper in passing. What's more likely, a hospital/hospice doctor would insert himself in the private affairs of the family of his patient who he knows won't be going home....or that they stole a piece of paper?

Nobody's going to be giving this many drug prescriptions to a girl with visible track marks all over her arms and hands.

Without powerleveling, most people I know with significant psych issue would saw off a leg if it meant getting off antipsychotics like Seroquel. The reason so many people go off their meds in the first place is that the side effects are so shitty and toxic.

On an entirely related note, no shit you’re “dissociating” after taking Ambien, Luna. That is literally what the drug does. It impairs your memory and processing so you forget how long it took you to fall asleep. There’s a whole subreddit dedicated exclusively things people did while on Ambien and don’t remember doing.

Luna may have latched in to that label to excuse her behavior, or she might genuinely have a personality disorder, but we’ll never know because she’s too fucked up to figure it out.

She also uses ‘therapy speak’ inappropriately: no one would say ‘i’m splitting’ on my friends because they won’t give me money, you’d say that you’re fucking pissed/ hurl abuse or you’d not mention it at all for fear they’d see and hate you. Also someone needs to teach this bitch what it means to dissociate, cause it damn sure doesn’t mean “took a million crusty pics and uploaded them to insta.”

It’s much easier for her to admit to BPD than being a junkie, which is fucking crazy to me. A personality disorder means you’re fundamentally flawed; a junkie means you’ve made bad choices. I guess it’s easier to admit to the former when it provides an excuse to people who don’t understand BPD and keeps them from holding you to any standards.

For sure I think she's being given DBT when she's in treatment, and it's a shame she's wasting it, it's hard to find a program like that. I own one of the workbooks she has, and it's very user friendly even without a therapist guiding you through it. If she sat down and worked through it instead of doodling everywhere, she might actually learn something other than how to manipulate/ spout off Tumblerina nonsense.

Not going to power level, but a lot of what we see from her is due to her BPD
With things like schizophrenia it is easy to identify someones behavior as coming from their illness. For example, they might hear God tell them they will go to Hell if they do not smack themselves or someone else. Clearly, when they then smack themselves or someone else it is because of their auditory hallucination. It is not as obvious with BPD, but I can say that some of the symptoms make them very hard to deal with. Very hard to tolerate for some. It is also more difficult to attribute the behaviors to their diagnoses because it is not always as obvious. I keep this is mind when I read about her. Just like I do for that woman on here who thinks the spirit of Venus lives in her and Lucifer is courting her. Venus clearly is psychotic. I am not suggesting anyone needs to like Luna or feel any particular way. I just find it makes her more interesting.

I think she may be in a suboxone program now.

It's actually incredibly easy to receive a diagnosis of BPD, at least what I saw at the hospital I used to work at they handed that diagnosis out like candy to any "difficult" patients who didn't fit neatly into other categories.

Also abusing drugs, relying on drugs, etc is actually one of the things that are listed on the BPD checklist.

So I do believe it's very possible she was diagnosed as such, but I do not feel it's an especially helpful diagnosis. The ones who end up growing out of it and sorting their lives out, their diagnosis is filed under "in partial remission" then "in full remission" and then the case can be closed.

It can be quite the stigmatizing diagnosis and from what I'd hear about the BPD patients in the facility some of them were extreme self-harmers (Luna barely qualifies there with her little cat scratches) pathalogical liars and manipulators (Bingo! Mark that down, Luna!) Abusers of drugs (Yep!) Are unable to form or maintain healthy relationships (Yes again. Lurch seems to be the only person in her life apart from when she decides to use her "EVIL" father)

If memory serves there's about 12 checkpoints for the diagnosis and you need at least 8 or something. Some of the criteria are fairly specific but a lot of them are rather vague and can be left open to interpretation. I remember I was "training" watching one of the head docs there, and she literally just printed some webpage for BPD, scribbled and ticked a bunch of notes on that print out and handed it to the patient as a formal diagnosis, and filed it as such.

See this is something I find weird. Luna says she was formally diagnosed at 18, but she also DEFINITELY started taking heroin at 18. Did she lie and doctor-shop for her diagnosis? Is she lying about her formal diagnosis? I don't know. She was seeing a shrink all through her teenage years, but stopped soon after meeting Lurch.

I'd love to figure that out, maybe she was actually diagnosed or maybe a doctor put it on her short list? Whatever, there's pretty strong evidence that borderlines respond really well when they actually engage in treatment, but god forbid bbgirl actual improves herself.

She probably lied about taking heroin. Most people do unless they are asking for help for their drug use or there's no way to cover it up.
