I've never seen so many publicity stunts following any mass shootings before.
Virginia Tech is the worst school shooting in US history. Bush was hated. But there was also a massive recession beginning and it was primary season. That blew over. Same with the gay nightclub shooting. It's okay because a black guy was president. Time to move on.

I'm starting to see why the Crisis Actor conspiracy theories popped up: Some of these shooting survivors are stone-cold sociopaths.
They couldn't give less of a shit that their classmates died. They just see an opportunity to get attention, virtue signal, and get a few minutes of fame. And as long as they say the "Correct" things, the media is happy to give them the soapbox.
I was scanning radio stations and caught the tail-end of an NPR interview with a survivor. He glossed over questions about the incident itself and immediately began nonstop preaching. This was the most smug asshole I've heard in a while and might as well have been reading a CNN script.
He was even using their assinine catchphrases. He reminded everyone that it's CURRENT YEAR, talked about being on "the right side of history", complained about "Our divisive President", and all of the rest of the snowflake bullet points.
When people are such shameless shills, it's easy to see how they could be mistaken for actors.

For real though every time I catch these kids on the news it's always "something ...something ...gun control ...REE Trump!" and rarely is anything said about what happened in the actual situation.

The vast majority of soldiers on a base in the US aren't carrying any weapons, they pretty much had to wait for Military Police. Being weapons trained doesn't make you able to conjure guns from ether

Eh, teenagers are dramatic. We once organized I sit-out in protest of not being able to wear hats in school. It lasted 48 seconds. I didn't even have to step over a dead girl.

You been to a high school recently? Maybe 10 to 15% of seniors and juniors take Calculus or advanced literature classes, the rest of the lesson plan is simply a babysitting guide for an hour or two.

I don’t fault the students for being political or being dumb teenagers about it.

They're getting paid by "someone" to travel around the country and make all of these appearances. You know what can make someone forget about experiencing a tragedy recently? Lots and lots of money. I can't fault the students for finding a way to get paid off of this, but I can fault the scumbags who are once again using a tragedy to push the same old bullshit as always.

Imma tinfoil hat for a second and say CNN, DNC lobbyists, and/or any senator or congressman up for reelection looking to sweep up easy votes by playing the gun control fiddle and making promises they do not intend to keep. I don't know if there is money being handed over to these kids and their families, but people that pull that kind of shit exist.
