I don't think Twitch will ignore reports on Phil even if they come in big quantities for the simple reason that he was in fact temp-banned. They did something and they can do it again. They know the "detractors" can be right. The only problem I see is the filter. What is legit and what's not? They probably need more time with his case, need to do more research.
However: Do we really know how much reports they get? Could be less than we think.

Ok guys who think this crap is good or effective . If you really want people in power to listen to you, you can’t shotgun everything to everyone constantly. It makes you sound schizophrenic. Maybe you are, but that doesn’t mean you should let everyone know.

As far as the state of Washington and Twitch are concerned DSP is a nobody who makes them very small amounts of money and anyone who cares enough about him to do this kind of stuff is unbalanced.

Tl;dr - the people that can affect DSP don’t care enough about him or his fans (these guys are fans fuck the detractor label. They like the content and the sideshows) to do anything to or for either side.

I was pretty willing to forget all this, to file it with the rest of the shitty things Phil's done, somewhere in the lower middle. However as per usual Phil manages to go above and beyond what I expected of him in terms of being a blithering idiot and is chimping out about it pretty hard. And that's always funny to me. I love how Phil, when you watch him or read his Tweets, is always somehow worse than you remember him being when you're not actively watching him. It's a bizarre phenomenon.

So Phil didn't actually directly threaten her, or insult her, but only because, as always with Phil, he was too slow-witted and cowardly to say anything like that to her face. Better run away then play to the gallery of his Twitch pondlife, ACK ACK ACKing at his own jokes in his little safe space. That's the most hilarious thing for me. Arguing with an 11 year old online is pathetic, but not even having the balls to do it directly is several rungs below even that.

With that said I think it is worth a ban, especially under the new toxicity rules. Phil can hide behind the fact that he didn't DIRECTLY threaten an 11 year old and play his semantic games (because he's a pussy) but he still called an 11 year old girl a bitch and joked about pimp slapping her. It's not offensive but it still makes Twitch as a platform look fucking terrible. So if you are the type who likes to report Phil this would be something to do it over, but just be matter-of-fact and don't be hyperbolic about it like some of the Twitter spergs.

Actually, that's likely because:
1: he just drag and drops all videos into the upload page, which already screws over the order, especially if you plonk in several videos
2: all are set to public by default and he doesn't wait until all are processed, so they might be even more out order

All of this just stems from how insecure Phil is in his manhood.

A regular person in the, "an 11 year-old called me an idiot, once" situation would maybe just call them a kid nasty later and move on. Not Phil of course. He feels so emasculated by anyone who says anything mean to him. His twitter is a prime example of this. Instead of ignoring them, like a grown adult, anyone who says anything remotely negative about him is responded to with an overly aggressive tone to give off the impression that Phil isn't taking that "lying down" and then blocked to look like he got the better of that exchange.
The kid was no different. Doesn't matter what age you are, you have the ability to trigger Phil and knock him down a peg. He felt so belittled by this young girl that he HAD to make up for it saying that if any kid, someone elses or his own, spoke to him like that he'd be a "man" and smack the shit out of them. Cause DarksydePhil is the realest motherfucker. He's a man's man. He's EARNED his manhood and no one gets away with suggesting otherwise, physically unharmed, in real life.

Well that's his problem for letting the world watch his interactions with 11 year olds. I always talk shit to kids online (to a certain extent) because its often hilarious. You can also usually tell by reaction alone which ones are worth communicating with.

If they can't take people talking shit about their screechy voice then they either have to improve on that over time or end up being 18 and reacting the same way and probably having a thread dedicated to their lives on here (much like Phil)

Talking shit to kids is fun. Its the sport of champions. But champions don't take it too far or too seriously. Phil just sucks at it and is worse at reacting than any 11 year old kid.

Its more amazing that this is such a big thing, mainly because DSP never does "actual" multiplayer with voice and no restrictions. 11 year old screechy kids are normal in all games. Phil just hasn't ever encountered one in so long that he can't even keep his composure and be sensible (or at least laugh it off properly)

The biggest problem for him though was the kid wasn't being a dick or anything. They answered his simple question and called him an idiot for not looking around. This wasn't some little bitch saying he's just fucked your mother or something. This was just a young un who couldn't believe someone couldn't figure out something so simple. I'd have called him an idiot as well whether I knew him or not for asking such a stupid question.

His fans make thumbnails for him. He doesn't actually know how to make them (or is too lazy to do so) himself.

Agreed. Instead of waiting for the uploads he could make thumbnails. It's not even hard to do it, it takes minutes or even seconds because they can look like however he wants.

Tier 1: Some of the most popular youtubers have a simple screenshot (search for a good capture that should look promising in your thumbnail) with bland text.
Tier 2: Some have no screenshot but the game title and only change the episode number on the thumb
Tier 3: And the fancy ones are with screenshot + changing episode number
Tier 4: And the most fancy ones have additional artworks

Phil can't even accomplish Tier 0: Black background and shitty text from MS Paint

I'm curious if anything will happen though, I'm not sure if it would usually, I assume maybe just a written warning along the lines of "ffs Phil don't threaten children publically kthxbai". But like you said, like a week out from a suspension has to be far more likely for a follow up punishment. I mean you could make the argument that saying you would slap children irl if they sass you is a little worse than asking exceptionals for change.

Had a quick thought.
What if Twitch invented this new toxicity rule because of Dave? New rules should only be created if there is a need. Twitch has house right so if certain people behave like shit and they dont want to associate with them anymore but the old rules arent enough, when people behave like you would never expected it: Bamm! New rules. Adjusted for current events.
And even then they can target just the most toxic streamers and little toxicity isnt worth it. Their website, their handling.

This is a legit method. Create a new rule that is designed for a very narrow group of people, wait if they can adjust themself to these new rules and if they are unable: Heavy slap on the wrist. And if they still can't do that: Good Bye, we don't want you because you make our website worse.
