Then suddenly things changed and he had a girlfriend AND it was serious AND she was moving in. Then it was "muh girlfriend" all the time because he needed the donations to "save the house" so he could live with his wonderful new woman (and all of his followers fell in line). Now she's there though, so he can't beg for money that way, and she's not enjoying being picked apart every time she is mentioned so he's toned it way down.

Oh no, he still does. It's just instead of blatantly stating "I need to save the house" he now says "I'm going to have to sell the house" if he isn't able to pay his taxes; and he found out about the taxes way before she moved in (which he said wouldn't happen unless he knew he wouldn't lose house).

His stories change up so much over the weeks it's hard to tell what elements are true and which ones are lies.

Edit - The missing piece to this whole puzzle is his credit card debt. No one knows how much it is. I think that's causing the upset with the monthly bills.

I feel like some people think it's all bullshit and its just greed, others think he's in a dire financial situation.
I'm not sure how much he is embellishing, but if we take him for his word I really don't think he will come up with the funds in April, and eventually have to sell.

Anyone ever try to figure out all of his “tells” when it comes to his lies? Aside from his giveaway nervous laugh, my favorites are his honed in specific responses he constantly repeats like “100% a lie/not true” and his newest one “direct point of contact at Twitch”. If he insults you immediately and calls you a moron or stupid, then you know you are right and he’s trying to deflect.

He has so many tells, one of those trained “human lie dectors” could probably be blind and deaf and still sniff out his bullshit in seconds.

I credit you for noticing these because I always struggle to separate the tells from the avalanche of verbal and physical tics and behaviours that Phil has.

Just found some interesting information posted by CIA Nigger (there is no need to @ his name here) in the Narcissa Wright lolcow category.
Could be interesting for Phil's next ban - or not. I don't know.
Narcissa got a 24h ban by Twitch and posted the message of his/her "contact" in discord. Reddit got it and it seems the second temporary ban will be raised to 72h (3 days).

So if the same rules apply, Phil will be punished a lot longer if he fucks it up again. And I'm sure he was told the exact same thing by his "contact". This includes: Whatever guideline he breaks (could be something else than his fundraiser campagne) the 72h will be in effect.

Also notice how this restricts the emote-upload-tool (which will be back to normal after 90 days). But for all we know: Phil always needed to go through the approval process of his emotes. Kinda odd. Maybe we were mistaken or Twitch simply hasn't allowed it for him since day 1 of this mechanic. However his 24h ban proves it was indeed his first ban.

My understanding of the rules is that the first ban is usually 24 hours and subsequent bans can be for any duration they feel like. Its pretty much standard terms of service in that way, they don't guarantee any access to the site or any access to "your money" and can revoke access at any point in time they feel like.

There was also another streamer recently who was banned for a period of 5 days, so there is obviously some discretion with the person that does the banning.

Also Phil has had to get emotes approved prior to receiving his ban so I think there must have been a prior warning over some issue (although it was probably for something that wasn't worthy of a strike against his account)

The punishment isn't always progressive. I know someone who got permabanned for having the word "coon" in his username. I also know someone who got multiple 24 hour suspensions in a month for "harassment."

if you ask if phil is either in the hole finacially or just greed, i would just say yes
phil isn't bad if he lived more modestly, but phil thinks the world owes him a five-star life, and spends like he makes enough money to live that life.
phil isn't scared of losing it all, he's scared of losing enough that he has to be without the useless trinkets he likes to have
and having his bank and his wallet tell him "no, you can't have that wolverine figurine" scares the piss out of him.

I do genuinely wonder what goes through his mind when he says this. Does he legit change history in his mind to a point where he convinces himself he's right and evidence is wrong. Does he just not remember? Does he think for some reason people won't look? My mind boggles at him when he says this because all he's essentially doing is ushering them to the unedited, raw proof that he did in fact do whatever he's being accused of at that point in time.

I honestly don't think Phil knows what context is. There are tweets, messages, videos, audio from him uncut and in their entirety that he says is out of context.

He's actually fairly spot on. His video talks a lot of shit about Phil and the only real reason Phil is still around is 100% because of the detractors.

If there was no Kimberlie Brink or Sons of Kojima then there would be no DSP. DSP's streams are boring as shit, he doesn't do anything interesting, he doesn't have anything interesting to say and the only interesting part of him is watching how bad he is at damage control.

For every ELPRESADOR or Kimberlie that pops up, DSP gets another 100-1000 people who check in on his streams. Out of those people, a small percentage will send him money either trolling or just because they want to.

Agree that the "detractors" are the main reason he is still around, but im pretty sure he would be able to stay around if they weren't around and more people would have been tricked into sending him money and a number of views that the TIHYDP gets would go directly to him instead.

What i mainly reacted on was that he sort of told people not to call out DSP when he lies or makes wild claims about stuff and in a much smaller degree how he portraits himself as a women at the end!
