I dont doubt they are credible but I think some people are reading a bit far into this. Phil is not trying to cover some shit up he just knows that the escort thing is false and is close enough to slander that he can probably get those videos pulled. Its enough of a legit reason that he thinks that he can threaten youtube into doing what he wants.

I don't think Phil watches the detractor videos. He definitely gets told what is being said about him, but I don't think he takes time to watch.

"Secret Life of DSP did a whole segment on the escort!" This was likely assumed because "Kimberlie Brink" was in the thumbnail. In reality the entire segment takes up about 100 seconds in a three hour video.

"Snort Burnell edits your videos to make you say things out of context" yeah, that's the joke. Show Phil mugging for the camera or acting like a fool then cut to I am not a children's entertainer. Phil says, "I'm gonna be honest," insert clip "thanks for the money dummy!" It's not slander nobody thinks Phil just starts singing I'm gay I'm gay I'm gay for no reason.

Most of the "anti-dsp" videos say Phil is bad at games, Phil begs for money, Phil is bad at reviewing food, or Phil jacked off on stream. All of which are arguably true.

I think some a-logs might have a field day with this in terms of trying to "take him down" so expect some major sperging over it and them trying to contact Youtube which will be entertaining.
And yeah 2018 is insane, its been honestly non stop since November 2017 and I didn't think it could get more wild than 2017 (Machinima dropping him, Laveria saga, Leanna leaving him, SoK drama, escorts) but its been 3 months and its already been more wild than 2018. Both years really make up for 2016 which was super dull DSP wise it was just him doing boring ass gameplay and whining.

I think he does watch them. Not all of them, not the entire duration but he certainly knows who is who in the "detractor industry".

I also think that part of this is him wanting to get rid of the detractors but the main aim is probably to try and regain his search engine ranking. He has repeatedly claimed that people searching for his videos only find detractor content because his opinion seems to be that only he should be able to use his name in the title of videos.

Ultimately, because he spams the shit out of YouTube it means that his videos are going to naturally be ranked much lower. But he's college educated so he must know this by now.

So its really him trying to get more money out of YouTube since the demonetization in the past few months and he is trying to use the escort saga as a means to get this to happen, probably thinking that he'll suddenly get a lot more views if the main "detractor" channels aren't able to upload anymore.

It's fascinating that someone Phil evidently trusted to do his dirty work for him has decided to give the middle finger to Phil and approach kiwi farms. It's not at all surprising as older mods provided their twitter conversations with Phil keeping them updated on detractor kahntent. What's new here is Phil confirmed to be actively seeking help removing kahntent he thinks would hurt him and his image.

A fascinating development but aside from proving Phil's full of shit about his claims to never false flag, I don't see what more can be gleaned from this.

I think we must be out of our minds if we ever think that Phil doesn't watch detractor content, Phil's whole livelihood depends on indirectly monetizing his detractors's efforts to make pity bucks from his supporters, and that definitely involves watching (some of the) detractor content himself.

Does he watch every single video? No, but he definitely watches the big stuff, like snort burnell or SecretLifeofDSP, that's probably the stuff the fuels his late night gin binges.

Also god damn, I can't take a day's break now without something happen. I don't envy SecretLifeofDSP since his 2018 video is gonna be as long as a Sokast at this point
 
I said it before and I'll say it again, Phil is truly a perpetual autism machine. If we could make an engine that runs on begging and salt Phil would win the Nobel Prize for solving the world energy crisis.

I know you don't want any discussion on who this mystery guy is but I think this needs to be asked. Is this guy supposed to be a YouTube employee or something or just some random fan. It makes me wonder how Phil expects to reach his end goal if he is not talking to someone in a position to help him directly.

Could be a guy who claimed he was a l33t hacker. He probably sent Phil Myspace code to prove his hacking skills and Phil fell for it.
