Also Burned Out Phil strikes again, that's another game he's dropped out of nowhere. Phil just hates games now. He's over it.

Who knew playing video games was so high stake?

Complains that he's super upset he couldn't beat the game and didn't want to spend 2 hours putting the work in to finish the game; spends at least 30 minutes writing out whiny bitch twitlongers trying to justify himself.

This recent spate of him whinging about 'wasting my time' is possibly his most aggravating trait. Say he played two hours, finished the playthrough, kept his dignity somewhat and maybe even rallied his fans around his perseverance. Good job Phil, good on you. But no, apparently getting worked up and crying about it is a better use of time?

And the fuck does this guy do with his time that even if he'd not decided to splay his tattered dignity out for the world to see, he'd use those two hours productively? He thinks that that time would be better spent getting 2 hours into another playthrough he'll fucking hate.

....so how long do you people think he has left ?
not saying I want him to die
But it's clear, he's going to eat himself, to death

Obese people can live a really long time, like Ralph Friedgen (former UMD Football coach). He was over 400 pounds a decade ago, now he's still over 300 but he's 70 years old and still ticking. Phil being a cockroach that you can't get rid of will be around for a while, folks.

DSP is so weird with shit like this. "I wasn't angry, I was upset! It wasn't a rage quit" I'm sure you've heard him say stuff like this before like "Oh it wasn't a Rage quit! It was an annoyed quit! Or an Upset Quit!" like what the fuck is the difference? He gets really defensive over really minor things even if it means it hurts other aspects of him?

In DSP's book, being technically right still means that he is right.

Huh, good for him, I guess ?

well, at least we can enjoy the mockery he'll recieve, as well

Anyone know how many games he's abandoned vs the average viewers they had? Is there a chance he's cucking the viewers because they aren't "working hard enough"? It seems like every other month he's abandoning another game and I think the last few I've noticed had quite low viewerships.

Or has he legit just given up pretending to care?

Ah, DSP gets completely blindsided by a game he's "played a ton of" that he "loves". An underrated DSP meme. It was the same thing with Earthbound, minus the ragequit. I'm convinced DSP just says he's played these cult games to get some sort of gamer cred, or if he has played them he certainly hasn't beaten them. He didn't remember how to beat the final boss of Earthbound either, which if you've played Earthbound is ridiculous as that boss is so memorable.

I also love how he won't replay it. Why not? What would you be doing instead Dave? Sucking at a different video game? Motherfucker acts like he's working on the cure for cancer offstream.

Keep Kat hidden isn't easy.

"In fact, I am one of the best overall gamers in the country"
... unless the game forces me to grind because I want to rush through it as fast as possible.

"I can beat every game if I want to"
... unless it doesn't give me enough views on twitch or youtube, then I have the right to rage-quit it even at the final boss.

Makes you wonder how so many people, even kids, have beaten the final boss in Secret of Mana on Super Nintendo and now in the remake but the Jack-Of(f)-All-Trades Burnell doesn't. If he had any brains, he would have grinded a little bit more during the course of the game, taking your time with the stream chat and have some actual interaction and participation with them outside of his "no cheers/bits = no interaction". Not only would he have beaten the final boss, maybe more than 200 bots would have watched it. He punched those viewers in the face (like they're 11 yeard old girls smack talking) for rage-quitting again. Just a couple of minutes away from the game's end he quits. Classic Phil move there.

By no means it's an easy boss, but Phil made it look like fucking rocket science because he went there under-leveled and unprepared. Given that the Remaster is already an easy target for critics (the price tag of 40 dollars - you could get the original on the SNES mini) he used the opportunity to shit on it. He also shat on the nostalgia of people, telling that they used the Game Genie on the SNES to cheat. Maybe he will claim people beat it because the SNES version came with a guide book (which may have been helpful and informative but it did not turn the game into a cakewalk like Phil prefers his games nowadays).

This is what happens when you play video games for years for money, rather than for your own and your viewer's entertainment. Now he can scratch Secret of Mana off the list and go back to the assembly line of video games he plays for money. Good thing he has the time to explain why his rage-quits aren't rage-quits but lord forbid he would use that time to grind and beat the game.
