If you think that's bad, you should see the previous session. I continue to do my daily ~10:00 PST views caps for DSPGaming, TKOHV & KOGaming because it's not info you can just pull from YouTube or Socialblade later. I was amazed when Secret of Mana's 6th session was almost sub50, 6 of the 13 videos are under 50 views, only the latest one was over 100 views. 24 hours later & still 2 videos are sub50, with now a whopping 3 of the 13 videos over 100 views.

Before anyone thinks 'Well DSP wants to get interaction during these slow grinding JRPG streams, views don't matter, it's the Twitch participation that counts'... that was naturally terrible as well, staying well under $100 (only visible $5+ tips counted remember) for this session & the latest one... and they'd both be well under $50 if it wasn't for 2 regulars cheering over $35 between themselves for >60% of last night's cheering.
BONUS: Heavy Rain Finale/Bully 'Premiere' was atrocious, almost as bad as Wednesday's Secret of Mana session.
20180307-01 Heavy Rain PS4 1st:
2x~$30 cheers from 2 regulars for $60.01, >65% cheering.
At least $49.37 tip but no visible notifications for first ~3 hours of stream, ignored.

Twitch income total: Subs ~$35 & cheers ~$91.61 & tips ~$5 = ~$131.61
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$219.50 & cheers ~$546.74 & tips ~$220.01 = ~$986.25
20180307-02 Secret of Mana PS4 6th:
$5 cheerleader from infinite_55, plus $3 in extras, >35% cheering.
Twitch income total: Subs ~$10 & cheers ~$20.35 & tips ~$0 = ~$30.35
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$229.50 & cheers ~$567.09 & tips ~$220.01 = ~$1016.60

20180308-01 Heavy Rain PS4 2nd:
Twitch income total: Subs ~$20 & cheers ~$35.31 & tips ~$5 = ~$60.31
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$249.50 & cheers ~$602.40 & tips ~$225.01 = ~$1076.91
20180308-02 Doki Doki Literature Club Finale:
$12.34 cheerleader from Extracheez, >40% cheering.
Twitch income total: Subs ~$2.50 & cheers ~$29.34 & tips ~$10 = ~$41.84
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$252 & cheers ~$631.74 & tips ~$235.01 = ~$1118.75

Twitch income total: Subs ~$10 & cheers ~$23.67 & tips ~$5 = ~$38.67
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$262 & cheers ~$655.41 & tips ~$240.01 = ~$1157.42
20180309-02 Secret of Mana PS4 7th Ragequit:
$10+$5 in extras cheered by infinite_55, $5+$1.10+29(!)x$0.50 cheered by Markmccauley.
$15+$20.60 cheered by infinite_55 & Markmccauley = $35.60, >60% cheering.

Twitch income total: Subs ~$7.50 & cheers ~$56.86 & tips ~$6.66 = ~$71.02
Twitch income total to this point: Subs ~$269.50 & cheers ~$712.27 & tips ~$246.67 = ~$1228.44

Makes you wonder what his views would be like if he actually played new releases and things his fans really voted for.

Also his lack or charge attacks in secret of Mana triggers me. His weak little baby fingers are apparently incapable of holding buttons down. Probably why he cries the second he needs to use a mouse.

  • Agree
Reactions: actually
To be fair I didn't know you were able to charge attacks when I first played the game. . . in the early 90s.

. . . also the remake didn't review particularly well but my goodness is this "totally calm and collected"-quit of the game embarrassing. In the span of a week Phil has been verbally embarrassed by a kid and mentally abused by a kids game. Not a children's entertainer, just a victim of them.

I'm surprised someone hasn't made a ragequit of 2018 compilation yet, he's quit almost every single game. What was the last game he completed that was a new release?

I have followed Phil's socialblade for the past couple years now. Although his daily views have steadily been declining, it's at the pace of a trickle. He averaged 1.4 million views last month. At first glance that's suprisingly high. But when you do the math it makes more sense. 1,400,000 / 30 = 46,666 daily views. Now over the past year, Phil has really upped his spamming of 10 minute uploads in a 24 hour period. He averages an embarrassingly high 32 uploads daily. 46,000 / 32 = 1,458 views per upload. Even with several of those uploads garnering less than 100 views, 32 daily uploads easily nets him 1,458 daily views & over 1 million views monthly.

I wish YT would kick this spamming faggot out of adsense. I'm sure he still makes over $1,000 a month on YT. Losing that would be enough to make his pre-schtreems even more entertaining. I wanna see those screws tighten even further.

If youtube were street smart, they would limit the uploaded videos per day per person basis. Lets say... you cant upload more than 3 videos a day. It would make the page less messier and kinda force the lazy bums to edit they shit together.

Does anyone outside of Phil upload that many videos daily? Out of all the accounts I follow the most actives once upload a video per day.

So unless things change dramatically then he's basically looking at making something like $3-5000 this month.

Think the highest I've seen are like 2-3 per day but they're usually show-biz news channels so do they even count? He's just an idiot exploiting a flaw and it ain't even working well.

YouTube does have rules in place that prohibit spam. The issue is twofold: unequal enforcement and the subjective word "spam."

30 plus uploads a day is fucking ludicrous. But you know as that YT ad revenue continues to decrease, Phil is just gonna upload more. I could easily imagination this asshole uploading 50 videos in a day.

Yeah, looks like things will be somewhat similar to last month, barring any major donations. If youtube and Patreon stay roughly the same, Phil's total take would something like $1400 (youtube, assuming similar views and $1 CPM), ~$800 (patreon), ~$3600 subs/cheers, $1400 tips, so around $7200, but that's before taxes and fees. If Phil is pulling money into a bank account, the fees from Twitch should only be 60 cents per transaction, so that's pretty much nothing. Keep in mind that Phil's estimated monthly bills (not including food, game purchases, and anything unexpected) are also around $7200.

So Phil has pretty much ragequit/rage-deleted, or begrudgingly plodded through every game besides PUBG/COD, then? Because that's how its looking, to me. Every release, he either quits, deletes the game out of anger, or finishes only because he knows he has to (Mario Sunshine).

What a true gamer, eh?
