One of the big issues with following DSP's prestreams is that they're super boring and he always goes on about the same shit. I experimented with a few different methods but it turns out that Google's auto-generated subtitles are the easiest way to get a fairly accurate transcription of what he said.

DSP does not like these transcriptions and has started waiting a period of time after uploading them to specifically remove the captions:

So for each prestream/ask the king/non-gameplay I'll add the transcription here. Just keep in mind that none of this is going to be 100% accurate but its a much easier way of browsing his shit than going through 20 videos.

If you want true & authentic references to the words then you should check the streams themselves which I've linked in all the posts.

I'm still trying to find the best technical way to do this, but starting off with a dumb way is what I'm doing now. If I include timecodes then it comes out to be hundreds of lines long, so I need to find a way to group his prestream by like 5 minute sections or something.

okay hello everybody hello hello how's everyone doing welcome to today's stream one of two full day of streaming again today folks how are you I hope I find you well I am Darkseid Phil and today is Tuesday March 13th 2018 there you go how you doing hopefully you're doing well Oh double stream today first game the continuation of my bully playthrough second run of course this is my second playthrough of the game five years later in some ways I've been pretty much progressing through the game pretty swimmingly and others not so much you know when it comes to the actual missions combat gameplay in that regard seems to be going good but some of the classes like geography haha still failing right um but I find myself progressing through the game a lot quicker than I thought I would have today is my fourth session of the game and the game is claiming I'm about 47% I think through it um but well from what people are saying I'm already some 70% through the story so unless I really start to break out it's been some time running around doing collectibles like you know ground the rubber bands in the cards DND cards or whatever they are um or unless I really start focusing in on all the races and stuff like that um it's actually looking like to me like I may finish the game you know at the very latest Thursday I don't think we'll beat it today I think today will get pretty far in bully um we'll probably get near the end you know right now we're getting near the end so probably by the end of today's stream more than likely we'll be very near the end of the game um but we'll see you know what happens today with the stream and that will help determine what we're doing later in the week on Thursday okay so yeah bullies dollar ship petition right now for about four hours or so fun gameplay hope you guys are ready for that and then later tonight the return the return of pub G now I know listen let's address this because some people already are freaking out about this okay um Pope gee this is a game that came out in December for the Xbox one since its launch the game has not performed well it runs terribly on the Xbox one ok um the framerate is bad the response time of you know you actually trying to shoot someone pushing the button and when something actually happens is bad the gun plays back alright but this game in my opinion also has some positives it's a game that has a large segment of the game we're primarily you are just kind of looting slash scavenging items driving around and trying to prepare yourself um for combat and or whatever is going to come at you later on in the game so that being said um I enjoy the game why do I enjoy it very simply because it becomes a very interactive and fun experience that I haven't you guys when I run streams of this game instead of being so hyper focused on gameplay uh I get the opportunity really to kind of talk with you guys right I talk with you guys I shoot the shit as they say um and we have fun discussions you know about all of a wide variety of topics typically when I play Paul G so ends up becoming one of my most interactive streams and I really enjoy it okay now what ended up happening was I was playing it a lot I mean it was to the point where I was playing this game three times a week alright and some people finally got fed up and said Phil this is way too much at this point you know we understand that when you do this stream that people tend to be more generous with things like cheering something and tipping because they want to talk with you and get kind of a shout out or whatever or get their topic addressed so we get it but you know we want you to do other stuff okay so that's literally what I tried to do for the last three weeks or so if you guys haven't noticed I've majorly cut back on the plug G content um if I play the game I usually play it only once a week okay um I'll be honest sometimes it's worked and sometimes it doesn't I tried to do it as my main gameplay stream a few weeks ago it didn't really work people were bored of it after just a couple hours they were like this is really bad you should switch over to something else which I did um and I have to agree I think that pub G is good in smaller doses like for example doing it as a night time stream for two hours versus doing it is as a main four hour plus stream I think it works better for that okay I do so why am I playing pub G tonight when I just played it on Saturday right it's true on Saturday night I played a session of pub G and it went well people seem to enjoy it people came out for it and it was good but here we are only three days later I'm playing it again why well very simply put folks because coming up if you guys aren't aware we were gonna be hitting a very big Slough so to speak a marathon a rapid pattern of new release games okay just so you guys know here's what you can expect this Friday burnout paradise remastered and came I never played a lot of people played it and liked it and they want to see me play it for the first time so I'll be playing that then on Tuesday sea of thieves as well as the South Park the fresher butthole DLC something about Casa Bonita okay yeah excuse me then later in that week ninokuni - all right and then the week after that far cry 5 and the final episode of the Batman telltale series season 2 so within a time period of two weeks we have six game releases new game releases I'm going to be covering here live on stream ok I fully expect that this is going to take up the vast majority of time that I have there won't be a lot of downtime outside of these games for me to be doing multiplayer stuff for a while you know just between see of these South parks then when I start playing ninokuni and then Far Cry I could definitely see those being the games that I'm playing as the main games and juggling around and so for example games for like Call of Duty games like Club G are going to go on the backburner not to say that they will never come back and obviously for those who really do enjoy those streams in series I don't want them to completely vanish and then you feel left out in the cold because I've been playing these for a while now in particular a Call of Duty recently you know I started playing this way more often and doing way better you know becoming the MVP over and over and just doing really particularly well in the game so I don't want these to go by the wayside and just completely vanish but they're going to be played at a very less frequent frequent pace maybe once a week okay and so that being said um I wanted to play one kind of final session of pub G just to get it out of our systems before all the new releases started coming out and then you know the frequency that I play these games would be far decreased alright so tonight it will be pop G for about a two hour session of pub G tonight I hope you guys will join me for that um tomorrow's my day off fYI Wednesday so no streams tomorrow alright my one day off a week Kat and I will be going around doing various things happen you know having fun spend than a day together should be a good one I should be able to uh to you know relax a little bit and come back refreshed for Thursday Thursday will be the conclusion of bully and then call of duty now here's the thing bully I may finish early on stream on Wednesday or Thursday excuse me because like I said depending on how far I get today we may not have a lot hell of a lot left in the game so dependent on directly on how much progress I have today and how well things go will determine how long I'm playing bully on Thursday so once I wrap it up if I end early then maybe I'll switch over to Call of Duty early a lot of people have been craving me playing the war game mode and I haven't played it much I just been doing team deathmatch but I understand war is pretty fun um so maybe I'll mix it up and do some war if I finish early on the first stream and then do team deathmatch or Kill Confirmed at the later stream I don't know but Thursday will be the final day of downtime content with bully and Call of Duty alright that's it then on Friday finally new stuff in Burnout Paradise which I'm think I'm gonna be playing all day I honestly think I'd like to tackle that game all day long and see how well I can do in it and then Saturday also will be burnout paradise paired maybe with Club G alright and Sunday will be burnout Monday will be burnout but we'll see you know did I finish burnout or not in time for the other new releases and then like I said see you a fuse and all that starting up next week so so that's what you can expect guys um and listen I'm not stupid I'm not ignorant I know for a fact that the past week I have seen interest in my stuff dwindle I know this why is it happened it's very simple there's no new games out right now alright I'm doing all downtime anniversary style stuff playthroughs that I've already played in the past and I'm redoing them um redoing them for the sake of saying hey now I had a better setup now I'm a different person you know what's the difference between how I play these games now am I better at the games now or is it hilarious where I'm playing them years later I'm actually doing worse right oh and it's kind of been a mixed bag so sometimes I've been really doing a lot better like see me and Reyes oh my god San Andreas I did way better this time around then I did the original time first of all I did all the side contents and I pretty much Turbo through a lot of the missions that gave me a hard time the first time around in this playthrough so if anything it showed a massive progression in my gamer skill level well you know over the past six years I've gotten a lot better over all right but there's still things that I suck at like and bullying I'm still terrible at geography right so it's kind of funny to see these anniversary playthroughs and for those of you who are big fans of mine who maybe saw those original playthroughs it's fun to rewire or watch these new ones and see the game's replay you know I very rarely go back and replay a game and so very table rarity that I actually would go back and replay a game most of the times I play a game I play it once however I do in that game ends up being my playthrough for the internet right and and that's about it right yeah that's it you'll put it once it's over it's done you know stick a fork in it that playthrough is now archived on the internet forever for people to watch so for me to go back after you play these games is pretty rare um so it's pretty cool that I've had the opportunity to past couple of weeks to replay games like seeing andreas heavy rain and bully and I've had a lot of fun playing what like I said I'm not stupid I know that a lot of people come out to watch me play new stuff and they're disappointed that I haven't really been playing anything new in the past couple of weeks I mean the sad fact is there hasn't been anything new to play um thank goodness you know we're on the precipice here the very precipice of a large-scale amount of new releases that'll be coming out back to back to back so for those who kind of been bored quite frankly with my content the past couple of weeks that should come to an end shortly okay that's a good thing um but I get and you know some people have been questioning Phil have you noticed your stream attendance has been lower Phil did you see that your YouTube videos that almost no one's watching these videos and blah blah no honestly I haven't and here's why I've made an active effort to not care about that stuff um I'm doing my best to try to stay away from that cuz I used to be hyper focused on that shit it was all about who's coming out who's watching what how many views money money money and what I found is when I was in that mentality I was constantly number one I was constantly second-guessing myself I was constantly stressed out I was to the point where you know sometimes I would play giving you so frustrating and then I would go to you guys the viewers and I would yell and I would get angry and people would be like wow it feels really you know off piece here we're here to have fun and watch Conte and here he is losing it you know getting angry at the viewers and that's kind of silly that he's doing that and I agree you know that was a time you know years ago when I was so micromanaging everything and I was so angry when I would want to play something and enjoy it and I would be enjoying myself but no one would be really caring about it um I'm definitely happy that I don't put myself under that kind of pressure anymore for me it's kind of like go with the flow I knew that these weeks where there were no new releases that this was gonna happen I mean I'm not stupid and this is my first rodeo I've seen this happen time and time again again and again over the years um and I didn't know you know actually I'll be honest with you I got I felt I got way more attention on my CNN andreas playthrough than I thought I was going to get I thought it was going to be pretty much a dead months of me just doing dead down time stuff um but it ended up not being so much you know the san andreas playthrough in particular a lot of people seem to enjoy but yeah guys I mean if you're here and you're like wow you know usually I turn into fill streams and you guys so in so amount of viewers and now he has like way less and I don't understand that's pretty much what's going on um is because I've just been doing so much downtime stuff recently and like I said I do fully expect that once new stuff starts to come out in next week well obviously starting this Friday with burnout paradise since that's a game I'd never played before but in particular next week with sea of thieves and South Park and ninokuni and then Far Cry 5 you're gonna see a big influx of attention and people who you know are here for the new releases they're like yes finally Phil's finally playing a new game it's been so long right that's kind of what's gonna happen so so there you have it no reason to really micromanage or be all worried I'm not you know um I'm honestly not you know I think that it's gonna it's a natural progression it's stuff that comes you know in time uh when when new stuff comes so in comes you know the interest and I get that you know as a let's player someone who's done this for 10 years that's exactly what I've seen over the years typically new stuff you know yeah not only the card core viewers and families who are here for everything but then you get to the casual viewer coming in who wants to see a new release right versus old stuff like first of all who has interest in bully right now anyway almost nobody right the franchise is dead there's no no announcement there's gonna be a new one or anything like that um and I already played the game five years ago so you know the real only interest here uh for everyone is for the hardcore fans right who are looking for like a retro style anniversary throwback playthrough okay so I get that but hopefully things will pick up alright so no worries guys don't be oh my god the sky is falling because views on stream have been lower recently it ain't that big of a deal oh and I do know people will be coming back for the new stuff so I'm not worried so you shouldn't be worried either okay um let's see I would like to say special thanks to mr. swaggins an infinite 55 who have been trial mods now for a couple of days they've been doing a pretty good job in fact in particular I haven't really heard any complaints so so far so good they have helped out you know big time on these earlier streams because we've had a few months who have been very busy recently and haven't been able to help out so they've kind of taken up the slack so I want to say congratulations and thanks to them for stepping up and helping the way that they have I think everyone's appreciative um I do that actually in the past week get a request from two different people about being a moderator on the leader streams okay my late-night streams Oh fYI I really am NOT looking for new mods for those positions yet simply because we have enough coverage for the late-night streams we haven't had any issues with lapsing coverage or anything for those they've been good so you know if and when we do have a situation where maybe I am looking for more coverage for that I'll let you guys know and I do appreciate the two people who offered their their time and their their you know volunteer work all kind of out of you know I didn't ask for it they just kind of stepped up to the plate and offered it themselves I do appreciate that but for now it looks like we're good but I'll let everyone know things change okay mmm sounds good all right hold on before we get to the next segment up reshoot I just realized I left my speakers on derp I do this every day by the way let me go turn those down and then we will resist hold on I'll be right back all right so some good news here in Washington State where I live the heat wave is over we had a two day crazy heat wave the first day temperatures were in the 60s yesterday they were in excess of like 70 degrees which is very abnormal for the spring and it's not even the spring it's still the winter here I mean we very much all entered into spring mode like the trees and flowers are blooming the birds are coming back you know what I mean but you know timewise we're still technically in the winter for another week or so um but we have crazy hot weather here for two days it was just way I'm normally hot and in clouds we had no cloud cover no rain which is very abnormal for this time of year we use almost to have constant clouds and rain excuse me so now it's cooled down which is good cuz I could stop sweating oh the past couple of days I've been sitting in my office just like oh my god you know sweating my nuts off here it's cooled down now which is good and now hopefully we'll stay with these cooler temperatures until say like April ish because typically it's around april-ish that it starts to really increase in temps and then I'll just pop in my air conditioner into my window here in the office and you'll start hearing that in the background of videos and streams there's not much I could do about that it's a necessary evil as they say because I need to keep all the equipment and everything including myself cool or else it's pretty hard to be working in here streaming all day when the office is 95 degrees like a like a clay oven right so there you go um so what else is there to talk about not a heck of a lot guys well like I said believe today Pope gee today I hope you guys are dreaming for pubsey later tonight I'm sure a lot of people have stuff to talk about in particular in regard to some stuff that happened recently um finishing up bully and some call duty Thursday finally a new game with burnout paradise this weekend and then all new games starting next week so I'm pretty excited oh I should say this so if you are playing sea of thieves next week and you were like an opportunity to join me in a cooperative setting with sea of thieves okay well what you need to do is go to my forums at the king of hate comm there is a thread in the gaming section where people have been posting up their gamer tags in order to join me co-op wise in the game next week during launch week okay already I'm playing it Tuesday Wednesday Thursday I'm playing three major sessions of it so I have a big opportunity to play at least with three different groups of people um in the game so please head over there post up your gamertag and the frisbee first come first serve whoever's posted up will be able to play with me then during the launch of C of Thieves okay I guess I should throw that out there and it is Xbox one exclusive however I believe the game is cross-platform with PC however I don't believe I would be able to invite you to the party if you're on PC and I'm playing on Xbox one I don't think it would work like that I think you need an xbox live gamertag in order to invite to a party so you probably have to be playing on Xbox one in order to join me I'm thinking I mean don't quote me on that I haven't played the game yet I don't know if they created some unique you know cross party system or whatever but um yeah looking for co-op partners looking for some fun hopefully that'll be a fun experience next week okay alright um so that's really it let's go ahead let's get into the plugs and then once I'm done with the plugs we'll give some shoutouts to people who have cheered subs and that I really need your help the first is I'm doing a subscribers Drive I'm trying to drive up subs on the channel alright the goal for this month is 500 subs right now we're in the 420 somewhere it's definitely doable alright in fact what I can tell you is we've been pretty much maintaining the same level every day I'm fluctuating between say 420 to like maybe 430 subs um but then it dips again because what happens as new people sub or V sub and then subs from last month expire so it kind of evens out alright we're trying to hit 500 by the end of the month and if we do as a celebration I'm gonna bring back the patrons Choice playthrough where people who pledged to my patreon are gonna be nominating and voting on a game that'll be a downtime playthrough this event has been very successful in the past and led to such really great playthroughs such as Spyro the Dragon various Sonic games over the years um Super Mario Sunshine persona and Yakuza so those are just some of the great games and franchises that have been played as a result of patrons choice so obviously it makes sense especially now I've pretty much finished all my down time stuff now I'm looking for a new game to interject into the mix amongst all the new releases that will be coming out something to balance them all with so now's a great time to do it but we need more subscribers to the channel we gotta hit that 500 you know what I mean um sound good so that being said folks um please consider subscribing to the channel getting access to all kinds of fun stuff including a slew of emotes and the like should be pretty good alright umm that's number one number two and this is a very serious and real talk segment of the free stream where I really seriously need your help guys so please listen out especially if you've been a longtime fan of mine and you know that I tell it like it is and recently I've been trying to keep private stuff private but sadly I gotta bring up some personal stuff now cuz I do need to appeal for your help right now I'm in a bad a bad way financially when it comes to taxes the reason being is because I had a tax attorney who when I moved across the country in 2014 yes well now four years ago this tax attorney who I'd been using for years and paid thousands upon thousands of dollars to do my taxes assured me he would keep doing my taxes properly and I didn't know any taxes in this new state of Washington where I was moving that everything was good come to find out he was completely wrong he didn't do his job and he screwed me over he took a paycheck and didn't do his work um so now I owe three and that well excuse me I did oh three and a half years of back taxes however I did pay 2017 taxes in January so now I owe two and a half years of state back taxes which are gonna become starting to in the month of April in addition I've got federal taxes that are due in April now this normally wouldn't be a problem normally this would be something easy that I can handle problem being my federal taxes have now gone up because last year you guys really helped me in the end of 2017 you rallied okay and supported me to try to get me through that that hurdle of the 2017 state taxes that we're due in January and you did but because of that my income for 2017 went up now I owe more federal taxes that I don't the money for so you're talking rolling tax issues okay it sucks all because this one asshole who screwed me over and I wish that there was something that I could do on top of all this to fix it I can't you know all I could do is be here every day entertain you guys and do my best and hope for the best I have nothing that I can sell I've cut the fat per se I've gotten rid of my cable television gotten rid of expensive cell phone and the house phone I've gotten rid of everything like I'm basically here oh you know living as nearly as I can cut down on all my expenses so that I could you know save as much money as possible and there's nothing else that I can really do at this point um besides you keep trying to entertain you guys and hope for the best so the bottom line right now is in the month of April coming up so in less than a month I have number one the beginning of me paying back all these back taxes for the state number two a Redemption or that Redemption what am I talking about eh ah what is the word on thinking of basically whatever is left from 2017 federal taxes that I still have left to pay because I know I'm gonna have thousands of dollars left to pay because I made more money at the end of the year than usual and then the first estimated payment for 2018 federal taxes is all do all at once it's not like oh you could gradually pay these no they're all do it once so very shortly I'm gonna know what these are these amounts because the taxes are being done right now by my new attorney I'm really nervous I mean no lie I know I have some money saved up because I saved some of the money from that you guys you know helped me raise in December that was in excess of what I needed to pay in January plus you know twitch has been up recently but I know for a fact I'm gonna be in a bad way all right just know it now what happens if I don't pay these taxes in April well then you're gonna have fees interest all these things rolling and accruing every single day you know until I I have the chance to pay them and who knows you know maybe things will pick up during the year with all these new releases and I make more money great now I could pay them but the problem is that's not yeah my business is opened early on in the year I always make less money because YouTube is way down earlier in the air later in the year YouTube typically picks up but that's the problem is the federal government doesn't care about that they just expect me to have all the money whenever they want it instead of oh well you had a better of a few better months okay pay more taxes that's not how it works they don't want that um so all that being said the way that you can help me all right is either by pledging to my patreon as I've already mentioned by buying something from my teespring shop okay um when I moved out of Connecticut to move here to Washington a couple things number one the plan was that my aunt was going to live at my condo long-term and that she was going to pay rent and so therefore I'd be able to get at least a little bit of money um on a monthly basis from her to defray the cost of having this condo then the plan was hopefully the kind I would be able to eventually sell the condo as let's let's say I don't know let's say five to ten years pass and the value of the condo now even if it goes down maybe I've paid down enough of the mortgage so that now I can sell it right that was the plan or the plan was to possibly rent it out to see how short-term to pace it with the money until again I could sell the condom all right keep in mind I gotta say this when I moved across the country things were very different than they are now financially when I moved across the country I was making a certain amount of money within two years of me moving so 2014 I was making this certain amount of money within two years of me moving my income dipped by 50% all right and that's the God's honest truth and no one foresaw that but a bunch of factors happened number one YouTube in 2014 during the summer when I was moving of all times they changed their algorithms and what it did is it made anyone who made short gameplay videos like mine with with what's considered relatively low engagement meaning you watch a raw gameplay video you're gonna skip around it you're not gonna watch the whole video because there's a lot of downtime or maybe there's something boring you skip to the good parts well because of that YouTube changed their algorithm those videos no longer get any kind of search priority because they're not considered oh you watched the whole video therefore those videos don't count anymore and I got screwed people who had longer but it'll say a 30 minute video of just highlights of a playthrough I ended up getting all the advertisements and all the search priority while all my shit got shoved under the rug on YouTube by the way you didn't tell anyone publicly they made these changes they just did it behind the scenes that's number one then number two and 2015 I had a series of horrendous troll-like actions done against me in my business including false copyright strikes all false flagging of fan art as if I had used it without permission therefore it was considered either copyright infringement or theft so I ended up getting all this negative shit against my channel I ended up having to delete a bunch of videos that used fan art you know deleting millions of views from DSP gaming and literally DSP gaming was removed from YouTube search results for like six months so during a prime time of the year when I play all the new releases and I rely on this natural influx organic growth of people coming in to watch me play the new games I got none of me because I was completely destroyed and removed from youtube search you know I used to be at the top you would search oh you know perfect example sea of thieves gameplay sea of Thieves playthrough see the thieves co-op and I would be there with it like the top 20 30 names on YouTube I would be one of the top guys no matter what because I've been doing videos for ten years and people came out to watch my stuff I was removed so within two years of me moving across the country I had lost 50% of my income so the thing is when I moved across the country to Washington it wasn't that big of a deal it was like oh you know well even if I'm stuck with this condo in Connecticut for a long term time it's not that big of a drain because I'm making a certain amount of money which is more than enough to handle if I can't get rid of the condo unfortunately once you lose half of your income things change and that's literally what happened to me was well now I'm screwed because now I'm paying no lie that kind of in Connecticut that I'm stuck with and I can't get rid of he's draining about anywhere from thirteen to fifteen hundred dollars a month out of my pocket and I can't sell it I've tried I tried to short sell it right now the condo is only worth about $60,000 and I over $100,000 the bank won't short sell it they refused so the only thing I could do is number one stop paying the mortgage in which case now my credit is ruined forever because there'll be a foreclosure proceeding and everything so everything that would be horrendous because now all my credit would get shut down my credit cards everything would be shut now I can't really can't afford anything so that can't happen okay the other thing is I could try to rent it which I tried to do but there's no reputable rental companies in that part of Connecticut where my condo is located I've looked into it there's tons of great companies and they're all in northern Connecticut and I called these companies and said would you consider you know renting out my condo down in Stafford and they said no that's considered the high risk high crime high you know negativity area of Connecticut we don't even want to touch that with a 10-foot Pole because a lot of the times rentals down there people default people don't pay the rent and then we got to go through eviction proceedings we're not dealing with that shit I couldn't find anyone who would take on their responsibility I take that back I found one guy who I didn't even know who the hell he was he didn't have a public business listing and didn't have anything like a Yelp nothing and I would just have been taking a shot in the dark on a guy who I had no fucking information about you know of him trying to do this so it sucks I'm in a situation where I bleed money on a condo I don't need don't want and can't get rid of so it sucks that's a situation I'm in you know that's what I mean there's so many factors here it's such a complicated situation I had a 50% dip in my income I'm not me oh by the way I should bring this up because the reason he said oh well Phil you mentioned your ought was gonna stay at the condo and she was gonna pay rent well within one year of me moving one single year um my aunt got really sick and couldn't live by herself anymore and that's what happened she was living there temporarily for about a year then she got really sick and had to go into you know assisted living or whatever it's called so that condo has been empty since then it's that you know it sucks you know it's terrible I can't rent it and it's just bleeding bleeding money and you know so you got that going on plus the fact that my income has dipped over 50 percent not too good all right really bad and that's the situation I'm in right now is really shit real shitty shout out to kick in kick in just cheered 50 bits and read your chat messages to give you shoutouts for your contributions that's the reason why I'm still here and I can still afford to do this as a job quite you know quite frankly well if I hadn't gameplay videos some videos have millions of views on if you search for DSP gaming on YouTube the first thing you'll get no lie is probably about a dozen nasty negative toxic videos about me nah the actual channel you're looking for which makes no sense my channel DSP gaming has gotten more views than any of their videos I have videos that have millions of views which no detractor video has ever received so why doesn't DSP gaming show up first because YouTube's disgusting algorithm focuses on toxic content it just does it's built to do that and people have questioned this and said what the hell is wrong with this why do you think Luke Paul excuse me is a jig Paul or Luke phone I can't remember its fuckin name I can't remember his name whoever the fuck ya idiot is puts out a video with hanging you know a suicidal hanging body a guy who died in the suicide forest of Japan and YouTube's algorithm pushes it to the front of the site and it gets millions of views within an hour you know what I mean wherever the fuck his dumbass name is I want to remember anymore but that's why you would say how on earth could that happen because it's all automated garbage it literally picks on the nastiest videos and puts them to the front so you know it's ridiculous if anything do it what I does a lawyer need to be brought into the situation to sue the detractors who make these videos know what really needs to happen a lawyer needs to sue YouTube and say you created a site that regularly promotes slander defamation gossip and overall garbage stuff that could be considered not only morally wrong but actually you know financially and wrong herd full of businesses full of people and their privacy and personalities you provide no protections against these this thing you allow any Joe Blow guy to put something slanderous or defamatory on your website for free and there's no defense against it people flag the videos for bullying they flag the videos for YouTube doesn't care it doesn't do anything it takes no action so if anything that's what really should happen however as I said I'm small potatoes alright I'm small potatoes and the bottom line is um the bottom line is this it's it doesn't make any sense for me to bother with it or it's not worth it for me what I need to do is focus on being positive moving forward alright and putting out entertaining fun positive new he says you get a spike any ones where there's dead time not a lot going on you get a dip okay in particular January was huge January because I was playing games like Metal Gear 2 and 3 right Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 well my views were way way way up they were actually higher than almost every month last year but then February there was literally nothing new and my views went down so it kind of like I said the average is out um quite frankly I'm not concerned I'm not YouTube as I've said is now the back up YouTube is the place where I archive my content my focus is here on the streams on Twitch this is the future twitch is the future YouTube is very much the past it's impossible now to get noticed on YouTube when I actually put time and effort into an edited video on YouTube against demonetised immediately there's no reason to bother with that archaic dinosaur of a fucking website anymore it's that simple they've run it into the ground and I'm not the only youtuber saying this there are many youtubers who are just done with it alright I'm not saying I'm abandoning you to okay I'm not I'm not saying that I'm not I'm not gonna abandon you to oh but YouTube is the archive YouTube is the place where I back up playthroughs it's that simple alright if you want to see it live come check it out on Twitch be a part of the fun interactive experience if you can't catch it on YouTube after but that's it um you know some people again so people are all about the views because they're idiots oh did you see those videos recently on YouTube don't get any of you I don't care YouTube is the archive most people who wanted to see it catch it live on stream if they don't they're probably not interesting right I just literally said on pre stream there's no issue because right now it's been a month of downtime stuff new games are about to come out folks new games are about to hit and people are gonna be interested to see the new game coverage that's how it works every single year but you will regularly have idiots regularly have idiots who will say stupid shape those videos can't even break a thousand views yeah Phil's videos of Call of Duty World War two that I've now played since November and my videos of pub G which you know people usually are here live for interaction after that they don't care about watching them afterwards right or my videos of a downtime playthrough of a game I already play can't break you know a certain amount of views when I play a new game that it's fine but again people want to be very more big morons and just be very oh we're gonna take this one out of context situation and apply it like it applies across the board no it's like I said if you look at my average views they're on average you know 1.5 million a month and they have been for like three years nothing sure and that's the funny thing about all that is last year in September of 2017 okay in September of 2017 I turned off comments completely on DSP gaming I had enough cuz the vast majority of them were just toxic comments people trying to get into negative videos by just saying nasty shit that didn't even apply it would have been one thing if it was like I'm playing bully and the comment was well who really sucks at bully look how he failed in this video I know the comment was feels a piece of shit look at me get put me in a detractor video that's literally what the comments were and that was like 80% of the comments so I said there's no reason for this to exist anymore I turned off the comments my views went up I'm not even kidding you guys when I turned off comments on my videos on DSP gaming my overall views increased so what that tells me is the people who were coming just to leave the negative comments we're even watching the fucking video they were just coming as spam and now people felt like wow this is a safer environment now I don't have to be bombarded with toxic shit when I watch Phil's videos anymore so I'll come back and watch it so there you go um so it has to think ramen in the stream change it says well now they rip your videos and comment on the ripped footage fine let them do that at least it's not on my stuff and people who are here to actually genuinely watch and have fun and be positive can do that they don't have to be bombarded by the toxic idiots so I'm okay with that so there you go factors number one because at my job at the time I worked there for about two two and a half years at that point anything about this because I bought at the summer of 2009 and I got laid off at the end of 2012 2010 and I had worked there for about four and a half years so yeah I think I had started working at that company in early 20 2006 so in 2009 I'd worked there for almost three years if not three years and I actually had gotten kind of a small promotion it really wasn't a real one but I got a raise and that was the point where they were training me to do continuous improvement and telling me you're gonna take on all this new responsibilities you're gonna need you I work a lot more and everything and I was like man this is the case and they really are gonna put a lot more on me and they're gonna pay me more to do it I guess what I should do is get a place close to work cuz at that point I was having to commute about 20 minutes to get to work and there was a lot of bad weather during the winter in particular snow and all kinds of shit was going on so they wanted to basically have me more responsibility but be able to get to work so I said I want to move closer to work so that was the factor number one factor number two was that at that time if you guys remember I had just started doing stuff for YouTube and it was just starting to take off and I realized you know living in a shitty little bedroom in my parents house which I was doing at the time I wasn't going to be able to film you know gameplay like I wanted I didn't have the freedom because there's other people in the house they can't have you oh you could be a blade put other people in the house recording and reacting the gameplay when everyone could hear you right so that was factor number two um you know and quite frankly factor number three I just needed to get out of there I did I needed to get the hell out from living in Al and a shitty bedroom in my parents house and get my own place start my own life not that I hadn't done that before cuz I had but you know things had gone bad for me and I had to move back in with my parents temporarily and I had to get back on my feet which I then did okay um and then um you know finally I said this is it this is the time okay so all these factors considered alright at the time the housing in the area was worth a lot of money and in fact it actually looked like if I had bought you know housing in that area home values were going up so it's the opposite of what it is now it actually looked like if I bought this condo that I would actually gain equity I would gain value in it over time and therefore I be able to maybe sell it in the future for a profit that's how it was looking so I buy this place for 2009 okay within two months two years excuse me not two months within two years of me buying it the entire housing bubble burst and all the homes at least in Connecticut started to plummet in value um now here's the thing it's the complete opposite out here in Washington State it really depends on where you live um in Connecticut things are terrible all the home values have plummeted in the past too-tall since then no 2009 so it was like 2011 so in the past six seven years housing values have gone into the toilet in Connecticut they're worth almost nothing okay they're dirt cheap go there and buy a house for like 60 grand because no one wants to live in Connecticut because the taxes are so high the prices are so high it's just a not a good place to live quite frankly it's not okay um but my home value plummet you know when I bought this in this condo it was over $130,000 okay and you know over the years that I've owned it I paid it down by about 30 grand on the mortgage why so little because they make you pay all the interest upfront when you get a mortgage that's their catch oh well at least we get all our money our profit first right then you can pay down the principal later on that's how it works with these mortgages so even though I've paid 30 grand off the mortgage the home value went from one hundred thirty to sixty you know terrible so that's you're absolutely right Olivia Saurus that's exactly what happened is I bought this condo at a time when it looked like it would be a good investment the value would go up it would be beneficial for my work because I'd live right near there they'd give me more responsibility and all that plus I'd be able to film for YouTube in a better way it was like everything was a positive it was like positive on top of positive on top of positive and if you actually look at the videos from when I first moved in right the video quality went way up I was able to vlog a lot more that's when I started doing my editing style videos and content that's a lot of times that's when I started getting my viral popularity on YouTube was when I moved into the condo because I had the freedom to do things in a very different way than I had done previously you know that was the heyday a few fighter for and I had my friends coming over constantly to play Street Fighter 4 with me and against me so that was a big part of it um but then the housing market tanked and it completely fucked me in that regard so so there you go you were dead on alihi Soros you hit it on the head you know exactly what happened ramen 117 cheer he says does the for the first hour two hour and a half of the stream we see abnormallylow attendance the reason being is that daylight savings still exists don't ask me why because many many experts have come out and said that there's really no reason for it to exist anymore I don't know why and why we still do it there's all these rumors oh we do it because of farmers oh we do it because of this or that and none of them were proven they just doesn't seem like anyone knows why we do daylight savings still why it never ended because it seems in the modern era of the modern world it really doesn't serve any technically it's still 10:58 a.m. um in a lot of other places around the world not everyone does daylight saving time and not everyone does it at the same time like some some countries do it at a different time than we do it in the United States um so you know that means saying I'm sure that there's gonna be some people that are completely confused and are not going to be here on time today all right um it is what it is I done I could do about it but moving forward my streams will be an hour earlier at least until daylight saving time ends and I actually looked it up it actually is running from now all the way through November so March April May June July August September October November 9 months where this is gonna be the time in the United States why I have no idea because it didn't used to be like that if I remember correctly you used to be fall back spring ahead but it used to be like happening in like September October and it would go to like March April so usually like six months now for whatever reason it's been adjusted to only really to be like nine months it's very odd um and again that's only in the United States I'm sure other countries may do it differently and so it's gonna be very confusing when some countries are doing it other countries or not you know I did my best the last day or so to try to explain to everyone that the things we're changing today and you knowposting up my schedule on Twitter and talking about it on pre stream so I hope that people get used to it um it is what it is you know I can't control it it's it's silly in my opinion but it's life I guess um here in Washington State we are having a heatwave normally this time of year early March would be still be pretty cold like we'd still be anywhere between like 40 to 60 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit we're in the 60s and in fact today and tomorrow we're supposed to have bright Sun and tomorrow it was to get up into the 70s which is very abnormal for this early in the year usually we have a lot of rain and it's cold and cloudy so we're actually having a little bit of a heat wave here um which means of course my office is going to heat up which sucks but it's way too early in the year for me to be turning on the air-conditioner so please bear with me the next couple of days if it seems like I'm sweltering here in the office all I probably am um you know and there's not much I could do about that either besides turning on the air conditioner which I really don't want to do this early in the year I don't want to put the because you use the air conditioner I have to put in the whole thing in the window you have to put the tube and everything up and then that means I can't open up my window and I definitely want to be able to keep opening up my window for fresh air atleast for the next month or so so so I don't understand daylight saving time and I don't know why we're having a weird heatwave all kinds of weird stuff going on today but it is what it is today is the continuation of bully scholarship edition it's the second time I'm playing this game ever the first time that I played this game was five years ago that's right it was exactly five years ago when I had adjusted from recording videos with a camera or camcorder and I went to direct capture and livestreaming so this was actually the very first game play through we're in the middle of the game I switched from that you know guerilla style recording to direct capture and I actually started live-streaming and I remember it blew up because why it was the first game again that I had a oh my god excuse me it was the first game with direct capture and it was the first game that I really started a fully in a live streaming on a daily basis um you know here we are five years later obviously uh things have changed and the bottom line is folks this playthrough is a downtime playthrough I know that it's not certainly not a new game and it's a game I've already played five years ago um so I know that it's not gonna bring in tons of attention all right fYI for you guys who aren't waiting for new content you like man you know kind of sucks Phil's been doing all down time stuff recently you know when's the new stuff coming once Phil finally playing new games because you know downtime stuff can only go so far well the good news is it's coming this coming Friday all right finally we're gonna have new content allow me to explain the schedule for this week so you guys know what's coming up today's bully and it's only one gameplay stream for today tomorrowwill be more bully paired with Call of Duty okay Tuesday it's gonna be more bully and I'm gonna pair that I'm on the fans should I go back to Secret of Mana and literally waste the stream because that's what its gonna be it's gonna be anighttime stream where you know it's gonna be on an hour and a half of wasted time for me to grind in the final dungeon and level up a little bit and basically get back to the final boss andbeat it just to see the ending I've already done everything in the game including the final boss and I know it would be a wasted stream I just know it I know that attendance no one's gonna care and ultimately it's gonna be a very small number of people who even give a crap about me doing that um so I'm debating doing it but I don't know um I really don't want to I'm you're honest with you guys I really don't want you I'll play the game again I'm really burnt out on it and I was so frustrated the other day when this happened I got screwed out of beating it I really don't want to beat it again or play it again so I don't know man I don't know well what if I don't play that on Tuesday then more than likely Tuesday night will be player in those battlegrounds okay then on Wednesday will be my day off for the week all right my one day off where I spend time with my girlfriend and we run into errands and stuff Thursday more bully and then Thursday night more than likely will end up being probably more Call of Duty and then finally on Friday so yes I know it's a few days here of downtime content I get that people will be uh no new content all right Friday finally okay a new game it's the burnout paradise remaster all right starting this Friday never played burnout paradise before a lot of people are heavily anticipating this playthrough saying they know what's gonna happenexperimental injen ducing and people are looking forward to me playing the game so that's gonna be this Friday all right and so I'll be balancing burnout paradise and bully over the course of the weekend on Tuesday the 20th so a little bit over a week from now we've got the release of sea of thieves alright I'll be playing that for a couple days co-op with people plus self-work the fractured but whole is getting its first story based dlc and i'm thinking i'm gonna be doing that as well so I'll be balancing those those gamesfor a couple of days and then at the end of the week ninokuni 2 is releasing and the week after that we got far cry 5 and the final episode of Batman the telltale series season 2 so we've got 1 2 3 4 5 6 new games coming out by the end of the mine hmm so for those who are just sitting around waiting write any like man I really want new games they're coming you just gotta be patient you know I don't make the games I certainly don't pick the release dates and I canunderstand if you're someone who reallylikes my stuff but you've been just feeling lately there's not a lot going on you're right I mean there have not been pretty much any new releases coming out at all anytime recently um it's been a really dead time but you know hopefully by the end of the month with all these releases coming out things will being reinvigorated we'll get people coming back to the streams and checking out the videos on YouTube and everything you know cuz right now like I said it's good the overall stream attendance has been pretty good I'm not gonna lock it has you know but you knowit's obviously better when there's a newrelease and I'm bringing in a new element of new viewers and new people being exposed to my content for the first time oh and I'll be really honest with you guys even though I very much enjoyed replaying a lot of older games recently like grand theft auto san andreas heavy rain and now bully pretty much on YouTube it's dead and I mean like no nothing's going on no one is watching the stuff I'm putting out on YouTube it's very very abysmally bad now again that's because there's no new releases if I were playing new releases I guarantee I would see a spike in viewership but there's literally beennothing going on for a month so there's not much I could do about that you know um mm-hmm so that being said Oh huh yeah that's kind of it you know and it is I'll be honest with you guys you know I am an honest guy it's a little disheartening because right now as you guys know I've got this issue going coming on and going coming up with my taxes in April and I'm very nervous that with the taxes coming out you know am I going to be able to raise enough funds am I going to be able to get past the April or am I gonna be now behind on taxes really badly which is a terrible thing because the federal government doesn't take it too kindly upon people who were behind on their taxes okay um that would not be good and at this point what I'm trying to do is get people interested you know that's why I'm doing these anniversary playthroughs I was hoping it would bring people in who maybe haven't watched my stuff in years and they want to see wow you know here's Phil five six years later playing a game that was you who synonymous with greatness when he did it on the on you know originally and yeah let's see how he's improved let's see how he's changed now with a new interactive style of streaming it's a little bit different um but honestly it really hasn't had that impact if anything people are just kind of like minutes old and that is a little disheartening you know I like playing games and sharing my experiences with you every single day mm-hmm so for me um I'm having a ball but sadly that doesn't always translate into something that's gonna pay the bills you know what I mean there's plenty of games I would love to play that I know but tennis would be low no one would really care about it and you know I can't just do that I have to find a way to balance what I do so that you know I can not only have fun while I do it but also you know maintain a business and keep my house and you know do all these things these all these responsibilities are constantly weighing on me um so it does kind of suck and you know it is what it is like I said there's nothing I can do about it when there's new new games it's not like well what could I do now they'll bring an attention nothing really there's no games that at any time you know recently that a release that are gonna bring in any kind of viewership um so it is what it is but what I will say is this okay even though there's nothing I can do about how many people show up or whatever thank you to those of you who have been very supportive recently you know through tears soaps tips a lot of you have come out and been very very positive and it's appreciated because right now like I said there's nothing going on you know it will change at the end of this week new releases will start and then hopefully we'll start to see you know an increase but there's not you know as a streamer there's only so much you can do you know hey you know we had it when you have a hot new release so you're in the midst of hot new releases sometimes it just right into your lap you know to get popularity or to get interest in your stuff because it's like wow here we go boom boom boom new game new game new game well I don't have that right now okay all right so it is what it is guys bully pretty much all week Call of Duty maybe some plug G we'll see but you know new stuff is coming up on Friday for those of you who are kind of being impatient yeah I just want new stuff I just want new stuff it is coming all right it is coming eventually all right so what else is going on oh I do want to say again second day in a row congratulations to our new moderators infinite 55 and mr. swaggins they are new trial mods for our earlier streamshere recently I noticed that poor visa has been the only moderator who's reallybeen consistently showing up to the earlier streams and I wanted to get him some help so I've recruited these two gentlemen totry to help us out and it's your support on the streams that is that is really keeping me going on YouTube by the way for the past two months has been terrible well YouTube has been awful if you take a look over at YouTube everything is down views because I'm doing down time stuff uh the profit is way down on YouTube the advertisements are like few and far between a lot of videos I'm putting out don't even get ads now um it's because there's nothing going on YouTube lost so many advertisers at this point that I don't even know at the what point is it gonna pick up over there I have no idea but let me put it this way the last two months both January and then February work subsequently the worst months I've ever had on YouTube um no lie and by the way my views were up in January my views in January were higher than most months in 2017 but I made the least amount of money I ever did on YouTube so it's really bad to the point where you know that's why I'm trying to transition into making twitch my full-time thing and making it my primary you know method of financial support but it's it's tough it's tough right now you know I am still reliant on that YouTube crap um oh so it is what it is alright now we got two final things to talk about um before I get to the shoutouts the first is ladies and gentlemen um subscribers we have any subscribers drive this month I'm trying to hit 500 subs again I've been there before but it was primarily because a very very generous few people decided to kind of go nuts and do a bunch of gift subscriptions alright what I want to do is organically grow this channel to organically have 500 natural subscribers who enjoy the content and want to keep Riesling alright it's good to be a working gull it's not something that can be done overnight but I am working on it and I'm hoping that the course of this month in particular when these new releases start coming out we're gonna see an influx of newer viewers who want to see me cover the new stuff and maybe we'll get an increase alright I will say this the last few days we've seen positive progress you know one point I was down like 410 subs now we're up to 435 and growing okay every day it's going up a little bit so that's a good thing well if we do hit the 500 subscribers I'm bringing back the patrons joys playthrough meaning we're gonna have a downtime playthrough that patrons you know people who pledge to my patreon are going to be nominating and voting on these games to do a full playthrough to balance with new releases now this is cool cuz previous playthroughs have been some prettyawesome ones like Super Mario Sunshine 2 Spyro the Dragon persona games Yakuza games it's been a big variety of stuff that I've done in the past based off of their nominations so I am definitely of the belief that it's gonna be pretty awesome whatever people choose but we have to get 500 subs to bring that back alright and it's very doable you know very doable that we could do this sixty five subscribers left we can a really important guys so please listen up right now I'm kind of in a pickle a bad one all because of the tax situation that I'm currently in with in a nutshell alright in a nutshell since I moved to the state of Washington in 2014 I had a tax attorney who screwed me over he did not do the proper work and research like he was supposed to he assured me he was doing my taxes correctly and he was not even though I paid him thousands of dollars to do it he did it all wrong and I now owe thousands of dollars of back taxes to the state of Washington now not only that but because I had to raise funds at the end of last year in order to pay an initial big balloon payment of taxesthat I didn't know I was gonna owe in January my income went up for last year so now I owe additional federal taxes in additionthe state taxes so it's like tax on top of tax it's not a good situation all rightif these state taxes never existed I would have had more than enough money to afford everything but now I'm kind of in a really bad situation because of all this happening with this this guy that screwed me over all right now how can you help it's very simple all right if you want to allow me to continue to do this free streams every day fun stuff you want to help me out right now there's two ways you could do it you can either pledge to my patreon as I've already mentioned that's the first way you can measuring my office and stuff like that because all this stuff fact we believe it the size of your home office factors into your taxes it does so I'll be measuring I'll be doing all this stuff and then getting back to him and so I'm hoping that maybe this week he'll be getting back to me and telling the okay Phil here's what you owe for 2017 taxesthat you still owe by mid-april here's your first estimated payment for 2018 taxes here's what that is so I'm gonna at least have an estimate when it comes to federal taxes of what I owe in April um but anyway you know it's all gonna be doing April it's a not a good situation and I know I'm not gonna money in my current state to do this especially things have been slow and down because of YouTube kind of being shitty these past couple of enjoyed games such as the original Warcraft and Starcraft I was a huge Starcraft fan and player in the 90s I had Starcraft 1 and its expansions and it really enjoyed them um but for a viewing audience I don't know manum I don't know if anyone would be interested in seeing me place if just to be real I'm not a history buff number one so there's not much I could really add to oh here's a reference from history that's really interesting I can't really do that you know what I mean so I don't really know if anyone would really care about me playing Civ to be frank um but it's always a possibility there are many genres of games of any things I have not done in 10 years right 10 years I've been making video game content for you guys daily on the Internet there's still a ton of stuff I've never really scratched the surface on so it'salways a possibility I'm gonna say for now it doesn't seem like it's something that's viable but it's always a possibility for the future okay oh shut up to sitting here in the office sweating because oh it's about 60-something degrees outside right now but in the office it's probably like 75 because the Sun is beating on my office wall and it's just gonna get hotter and hotter over the course of the day so it kind of sucks um well I guess it is what it is I'm gonna tough it out and sweat it out here to play some fun games with you guys todayokay Jake Whistler did another 50 bitch here he said these songs are great has anyone been making new ones Oh jank Whistler is referencing that on my pre stream I actually play fan remixes our fan remixes that were made years and years ago I think the actually the the newest one that I play was early 2017 it was one for about Dark Souls but outside of that the next released one was 2013 and most of the remixes that I'm playing were in actuality made in the years of2010 and 2011 all right they're pretty old yeah you know there was a time from the years of 2010 to 2012 when everything I did on YouTube was white-hot I was one of the biggest and most well known let's players on YouTube people really loved me in my stuff and I most of the stuff I did went virally popular and people would make remixes based off of stuff going on in my playthroughs that would also get some pretty huge views um but that was a long time ago you know things change as we say ah so no they're really recently outside of like I said that one a year ago that s beast music made that's Dark Souls there have not really been many of any new remixes now I'm not saying that there couldn't be if anyone ever wanted to dabble in say taking my commentary or stuff going on in my playthroughs and doing a musical remix and submitting that to me I would be more than happy to you know if it's good put it onto my pre streams and promote it in everything but it's a rare thing that that happens I haven't had anyone really make anything like that in a while so so there you go be the baby racks did a 25-inch here and says if you didn't hear a zombie go booms case against YouTube was thrown out of court the judge said that the contracts made it clear that YouTube was not obligated to display any advertisements alongside any videos well here's the thing you guys don't know what he's talking about this is in regards to last year the ad apocalypse on YouTube okay what happened was YouTube lost a ton of subscribers all because of the fact that they had advertisements via a automated algorithmbeing divvied out on the website to videos that advertisers deemed were advertiser unfriendly for example videos that were racist videos that had tons of adult language and sexual content and videos that had terrorist content yes even videos that had a terrorist content in it we're getting advertisements so tons of advertisers pulled out of YouTube and YouTube ad revenues plummeted by roughly 40 to 60 percent for most people so overnight most people started making half as much money as they used to so what YouTube instituted was an automated algorithm bywhich they were going to videos to be advertiser unfriendly and immediately disable advertisements on them well there was a youtubers channel who's called zombie go boom this is a company that regularly was bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year if not more it had employees and everything under it okay their entire channel was regularly automated and flagged for being advertiser unfriendly so their channel went from bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to around $10,000 a year okay basically it inoperable it made them go out of business so they sued YouTube um and their lawsuit alleged that YouTube waswas you know doing unfair business practices that you that you know making a change to terms without notifying people because they didn't notify people they were doing this it wasn't like they legally said oh here's an updated contract and you have to click here to agree they just did it without letting anybody know okay all which is illegal by the way it is 100% illegal to do that um so basically they were alleging that you know if since YouTube and Google were in thestate of California physically located that they had to abide by California employ you know business laws and allthe like and that this was an illegal move so they were suing for damages they started a class action lawsuit against YouTube this was like six months ago if not longer okay so if this is what maybe if what be the baby Rex is saying to me it's true which I don't know I've heard this I looked into it I guess what a judge is saying is well if you technically read the terms that you signed up for on YouTube when you originally signed up to put advertisements on your videos it clearly states that YouTube is not in any way obligated to ever display advertisements alongside any videos on YouTube therefore this is completely illegitimate and he threw it out of court alright so there you go and as I said six plus months ago when this became news this is how the United States legal system works it's completely subjective one judge may see it that way and another judge may not um apparently this judge you know reading into this situation just clearly felt that the original terms and conditions ofadvertisements on your videos on YouTube overrode any kind of malpractice and/or you know things that YouTube was doing that seemed underhanded unfair you know / California state business laws um another judge may not another judge may look at the situation and be like well yeah I'll technically you signed this and it says they don't have to have ads but at the same time there's laws in place that say in the state of California you know there's non-competition clauses and like there's all kinds of stuff I'm sure and he might see a difference or she might see you differentlyum you see what I mean so it's all very subjective so in this case this big lawsuit just got dismissed however folks what I would say is really I don't think and I don't think that um YouTube's ad situation is really where they can get in trouble I think it's more in regards to the content that they regularly allow to be posted on their website like I'll give you a real good example like you remember that that logan paul video of the person who committed suicide in the japanese suicide forest and he posted up on youtube ah the family of that man could sue youtube probably for a ridiculous amount of money and win easily you can't just have a business where you just automatically allow any video to be posted and then be automatically promoted by a robotalgorithm it doesn't work and it's only a matter of time in my opinion before youtube crumbles and falls apart um because they're automating and they are very much a business reliant on self-regulation they they expect the viewers who are not paid and are not employees of the company to actually regularly watch and police content onthe website and flag it for being inappropriate and organic taken down forbeing inappropriate when they're notpaid employees if that's you can't operate a business like that okay you can't it's it's not gonna judge was not the judge that this was assigned to and so the case was thrown out of court but you - there's no victory for you - YouTube has been doing things wrong for so long that it's only a matter of time until they fall apart um and something does eventually stick like I'll give you a perfect example you know I'm someone who's small potatoes alright so for me there's nothing that I could ever do to get legal recourse against anything that is YouTube related you know I'm just too small I don't have the money in time for it but YouTube just think about this on a regular basis youtube allows anyone to post up a video on its website for free that could say anything someone right now could post up a video saying that someone is a pedophile that someone is a sexual predator that someone is a thief that someone is a violent criminal or a mass murderer with no factual evidence whatsoever this constitutes slander and or defamation one or the other whichevertake your pick um YouTube literally has no tools by which someone can protect themselves from that there's no way that you can flag a video and get it to be taken down there are methods they claim that you they have to do it they do not work all right I know for a fact they do not work in fact I've spoken directly with YouTube's staff and the answer that I got all right from one of them is very simple well if we're if it seems like we're gonna be legally liable for something then maybe we'll take action but if not generally no action is taken that's what I was told so it looks like YouTube could be sued because they put up a video that really really concretely hurts someone so I'll give you an example let's say someone posted up a video oh Justin Bieber and I'm just using this as an example but let's say they said I know that Justin Bieber is a sexual deviant who had sex with all these women against their will and you know he's a terrible person and then someone went to Justin Bieber's house and shot him in the head and it was proven that the reason that person did it is because they were convinced by the YouTube videothat oh that this is why this happened you know he had to take justice into his own hands then YouTube could be sued into oblivion alright but unless something like that crazyhappens YouTube isn't gonna take action against this kind of stuff okay well and that's the problem is YouTube is a website that allows blatant misinformation drama toxicity on a regular basis in fact it promotes it if you look at the videos that go trending on YouTube it's the biggest bullshit you know rumors slander gossip this is what makes it big on YouTube alright that's not good because this is putting them into a big legal liability situation just because nothing has happened yet doesn't mean it's not going to I'll give you a perfect oh I'll give you a perfect example all right for years swatting alright everyone said Oh swatting is just a prank it's not a big deal no things ever happened there was a result of swatting besides just some cops beingcalled out and some people being hassled it's hilarious your watch people get swatted on a stream and it's so much fun to see a stream be interrupted by cops storming and thinking that there's a you know a hostage situation or whatever and people really know this is not a funny situation this is terrible you're wasting law enforcement resources you're risking people's lives well guess whatfolks last few months we finally had a swatting incident where someone was killed someone completely innocent right now all of a sudden everyone's like oh swatting is terrible right well up to then it was all it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt and that's the way I see it with YouTube it really just is a powder keg ready to explode at this point it's only a matter of time with a website that regularly has an automated system that promotes drama toxicity slander and negative shit and that's the top stuff on the website that this website will die once someone finally gets hurt it's that simplesomeone will get hurt they will say enough is enough they will sue the fuck out of YouTube for creating the toxic situation that made that person get her and YouTube will be done um that's the way I see it you know so even though zombie go boo tried one method to say this is ridiculousum you know what I meanyou know guys are horrible you run a terrible business you put us out ofbusiness because of your unfair and annual bad business practices they lost when one method but YouTube is not safe and YouTube is pretty much in my opinion on its last legs I give it a couple more years until like I said if a major competitor ever steps up to compete with YouTube like hint hint Amazon is stepping up and ready to do decided they were going to buy out YouTube alright then they would they bought out YouTube they created a monsterthey made a website that became virally popular everyone started constantlyuploading ridiculous amounts of content and they had no actual plan to make sure the website abided by any laws copyright defamation slander anything they just said fucking it's the Wild West of the internet argument they will say that's your fucking fault you're the one who put money into this company who turned it into what it was it's your responsibility legally to make sure your company has viability when it comes to laws and everything its YouTube's fall to advertisers have leftin droves because they automated everything and didn't make sure that the automation was working properly so the advertisers would actually want their ads to be on stuff it's YouTube's fault that they don't have a process to make sure that people are not putting out defamatory and slanderous videos that could be considered illegal its YouTube's fall slash Google's fall you can't say oh well we're just so popular we're immune to all the same laws regulations and things that everyone else is judged by took tough shit that's you know what I mean Oh have to hire 30,000 employees and then the the website would become unmanageable okay okay then that then closed the business cuz you can you can operate like comparison in early 2000s there was a little program that was released you guys might remember if you're as old as me it was called Napster it was a file-sharing program by which everyone uploaded music and shared it for free okay now everyone at the time said oh it's the bee's knees you get free music whatever you want use it infinitely on your computer or on your iPod by then it was I pod it wasn't like you know mp3 players and iPods no-one had phones that had the ability to play music or anything at that point okay um and it was this amazing application and everyone thought it was and it was fine now in mainstream culture everyone thought it was fine this is fine doesn't matter the music industry stood up and said this is ridiculous we can't sell music anymore because everyone's getting music for free everyone's just sharing their music this is illegal there's no way this is absolutely illegal oh you know we have laws and licenses in place we own the licenses to the music no one has theright to buy a song and then just give it to someone else all they did is they bought a license to use the song they don't physically own that song or the rights to share it with anyone this is not legal and it took a couple years it did okay it took a couple years but what happened was guess what um Napster got shut downlegally the courts they went to court they got sued like crazy and the court said no you can't just ignore law just because you're white-hot popular doesn't mean you get to ignore the law the law says these companies own the legal rights and licenses to this music you can't just let people put the fucking music on the internet and do whatever they want with it and Napster Jay basically completely changed it ended up changing to be a instead of a music sharing site it became a musicdistribution service by which you would scribe and then you would be able to get music you know for a limited time for use and stuff like that and basically went out a bit no one uses Napster anymore the whole thing fell apart um but that's my point you can't just make the argument that because you're popular you're immune to the law it's not how it works and YouTube has been operating like that for ten years and they're not immune to the law and eventually it's gonna destroy them and I think they're just really at this point they're just living on borrowed time because now we've gotten you know everything now gets blown out let Logan Paul video and PewDiePie says something in a video it's only a matter of time until it all falls apart in my and things but I can tell you this I'll give you a perfect exampleI'll get another perfect example if you own a publication alright a magazine um if you own a tabloid and you report blatant misinformation about someone that could be considered slanderous defamatory or harmful to a person you can get sued for damages and you can have legal ramifications where people get fired and or your publication gets shut down and now the law depends on where that publication exists and who's suing you so for example in the UK a publication there may be different criteria than in the United States so I can't directly answer your question but the bottom line is there's libel laws there's a family tour there's all these laws in place and YouTube is a media outlet even though they may not be a printed publication they are a media outlet that on a daily basis allows unlimited and free capability for people to put up slette libelous slanderous and defamatorycontent with no legal recourse for those for whom it's being done against there's no system by which someone can get a video 100% guaranteed to be taken down that's considered slanderous libel ordefamatory it doesn't exist people have can flag videos as bullying or whatever but unless you actually file a major lawsuit against YouTube to get something taken down it won't get taken down you can't do that all right that would be like if for example I got just a tabloid let's say I don't know the Daily Mail which is in the UK what if the Daily Mail just allowed anyone to put something on the cover story no matter what whether it was confirmed or not they just oh you know the Prime Minister of Britain is a horrendous pedophile and it was on the front page of The Daily Mail oh well you know we just have so many people submitting stories we can't possibly vet every single one so we just allow it to go on the front page see what I mean it's not you can't do that and that's literally what YouTube does in fact YouTube has systems in place their algorithms that promote videos on YouTube 100% promote defamatory slanderous and libelous dramatic toxic content that Logan Paul video went to the top within minutes because all right so some good news here in Washington State where I live the heat wave is over we had a two day crazy heat wave the first day temperatures were in the 60s yesterday they were in excess of like 70 degrees which is very abnormal for the spring and it's not even the spring it's still the winter here I mean we very much all entered into spring mode like the trees and flowers are blooming the birds are coming back you know what I mean but you know timewise we're still technically in the winter for another week or so um but we have crazy hot weather here for two days it was just way I'm normally hot and in clouds we had no cloud cover no rain which is very abnormal for this time of year we use almost to have constant clouds and rain excuse me so now it's cooled down which is good cuz I could stop sweating oh the past couple of days I've been sitting in my office just like oh my god you know sweating my nuts off here it's cooled down now which is good and now hopefully we'll stay with these cooler temperatures until say like April ish because typically it's around april-ish that it starts to really increase in temps and then I'll just pop in my air conditioner into my window here in the office and you'll start hearing that in the background of videos and streams there's not much I could do about that it's a necessary evil as they say because I need to keep all the equipment and everything including myself cool or else it's pretty hard to be working in here streaming all day when the office is 95 degrees like a like a clay oven right so there you go

If I may recommend, try adding the words "you know" to the list. Just to show how often he says that, too. Also, "stuff". Both would easily crack 30.
Also this is a great idea. As said before, after a while, it just turns into a constant background noise.

alright hello everybody hello hello and welcome how is everyone on this Monday today's Monday March 12 2018 I am Darkseid Phil and welcome to my one major gameplay stream for the day however today is a full streaming day for me and you're wondering what that entails it means that later tonight I will also be streaming a secondary stream as well and don't worry in just a moment I will get to exactly what those streams are and what you can expect but first I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you how are you it's the start of a new week it's the start of a new bit of fun um I'll have continuing playthroughs I'll have some fun multiplayer gameplay later this week we'll finally have a new game starting up Oh should be pretty good and it's actually them to start of a new week here if you guys didn't notice in the stream chat I guess what's gonna happen is every Monday my twitch stream cheering stats will reset oh this is an automatic process by the way and I'm not sure exactly how it works um but what I'm seeing here is that it looks like the you know we had for a week people who had it sheared we're on a leaderboard and now it appears that that leaderboard has completely reset itself um with new people who are considered top cheerers although I'm not exactly sure how it works um I don't know at what time this thing resets okay and I also don't know like for example I'm looking at it right now I'm trying to get to hang it is to figure this out you know because I don't know what to I will tell you how to even explain to you guys how this works it's totally someone by the name of ultimate outcast double-o is the top cheerer do you guys see that or do you are you seeing that it's is the ultimate outcast double oh did a 200 bitch here but I don't I don't see that in my moxie am i blind you guys are seeing that right but he's not in my muck see at all when did he cheer uh-huh I am confused color me confused cuz it was making sense up to now well I bizarre alright anyway welcome to a new week of content folks let me give you the rundown the skinny on what you can expect Oh this week okay so first of all today double streaming day folks full day of streams my first gameplay stream here will be the continuation of bully scholarship edition as of yesterday I gotcha just under 30% I think I'm like 70 27% or something like that through the game um so I'm expecting that every day that I play I'll probably have roughly like 50 15 to 20 percent progress that's kind of what I'm thinking so today maybe we'll get up to like 50 maybe tomorrow we'll get up to 70 you know what I mean that's kind of what I'm thinking by the way I'm not doing a hundred percent run of bully I am gonna try to do this stuff that's entertaining or different but I'm not doing a hundred percent run of the game by any means just so you guys understand I'm not gonna be looking for every single collectible or anything like that okay so that city's mainstream tonight my second stream starting at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time will be call all duty more Call of Duty every time I play this game I've been doing really well if you guys were here on Saturday you were so super to see me completely tear it up I was whooping major ass on Saturday I had a couple situations where I was like over 20 kills and only like maybe six seven deaths um it was pretty good man it was me getting better at the game and I am I'm starting now to loot to learn more and more about the maps of the game good strategies on each of app and the like so I'm actually starting to get really good um and what I'm wondering is you know is this a thing where it's just this game or will it be that like an other shooters coming up maybe I'm you know what I mean I'm feel pretty positive because I don't know what it is that that all of a sudden I've just kind of got the bug for Call of Duty and I'm doing good in it so so we'll see you that's gonna be tonight a fun Call of Duty stream tomorrow will be more bully and tomorrow and I will be doing a pub G stream I've made the executive decision I'm playing pub G tomorrow night now I know some people are gonna say but you just played pub G on Saturday don't worry Pope G is not going to come back as a full-time thing that I do every other day it's not in fact the main reason why I'm going to be playing pub G tomorrow night is because after that I'm not gonna have much of an opportunity to be playing Paul G moving forward except for maybe like once a week or whatever being as I told you guys this week new games began ok so once the new games start up I'm gonna be very very you know involved with those and I'm not gonna be going back to PO G every other day you know what I mean um so poke gee tomorrow night Tuesday night Wednesday is my day off okay so no screams on Wednesday but I'll be back on Thursday with the possible conclusion of bully depending on how things go these next two days will determine if I'll be able to wrap up my bully plate throughout Thursday or not and Thursday and I I am going to be doing a little bit more Call of Duty ok then Friday it's the start of burnout paradise and I'm almost thinking I will play burnout paradise all day a marathon day of burnout paradise where I'm just playing it all day long and then Saturday will be open the air dependent on did I finish bully on Thursday or or not but if I did they'll probably balance Saturday and more than likely Saturday would be a combination of say burnout paradise and bully if not maybe I'll do burnout paradise and say I don't know um maybe what is it called more Call of Duty or more pub G we'll see but what we're really getting to folks all right is that next week next week I will be doing all new content new games and I finally have my schedule set because Kat my girlfriend finally got her work schedule and so now I know what day she's working on what day she's not and we're gonna be able to figure out what is gonna be our day that we go out and have a full day together doing stuff or not so here's the deal next week not this week coming up but the week after there's multiple new releases there sea of thieves and self-park the fracture buttholes first story base DLC those are coming out on Tuesday the 20th okay and then later in the week is a ninokuni mutiny - excuse me ninokuni - so how am I gonna be covering these games well on launch day of sea of thieves as well as that Wednesday and Thursday so the 20th 21st and 22nd I'll be playing sea of thieves during the day and I'll be playing this South Park DLC at night okay so that's how that whole week is gonna be see of Thieves inside all right 20th 21st and 22nd of March sounds good now my first opportunity to have a day off with my girlfriend cat will be that Friday the 23rd so Friday the 23rd will be my next day off so this Wednesday the 14th is my most recent day off coming up this week but then I won't have another day off until the 23rd of March all right and then when I come back on that Saturday the 24th I'll be beginning my ninokuni to playthrough okay so it'll be neat okuni balanced with sea of thieves for a bit with the possibility of the continuation of burnout depending on how far I got in the game and maybe Call of Duty or pub G mixed in and at the end of the month of course we're gonna have far cry 5 and Batman so we'll see ok but that's how it's gonna go so three straight days of coverage of sea of thieves plus three straight days of south park coverage then a day off then you know Cooney begins on that weekend alright quite frankly I think this works out well because I was nervous that but the day off that week would also be a Wednesday and then it's like okay new game Co thieves I only play it once and then I gotta take a day off you know what I mean I don't think that would have worked out too well so this schedule actually is working out pretty well and we don't know yet folks we don't know what Kats overall work schedule is going to be because she's just getting you know fit into the job here this is her first week coming up so if her schedule stays the same all right what we're probably gonna be doing is we're gonna try to make Saturday my weekly day off so I'll be here every single day except Saturday but we don't know if you know that's gonna happen we have to actually see this is her first week back so she's kind of getting fitted into you know a work schedule we don't know if that's gonna be the schedule she gets every week or not so all dependent on what goes on with that will determine what day I'll have off you know moving forward we're aiming for Saturday but we're not a hundred percent that it's going to end up being Saturday every week okay fair enough so there you go so real schedule bully called duty today bully punky tomorrow off on Wednesday bullying call duty Thursday burnout paradise starts Friday burnout and bully or burnout on something else on Saturday continuing all the way into the next week when it's gonna be sea of thieves and South Park for three straight days then I'll have that Friday the 23rd off but ninokuni - we'll start on the 24th which is a Saturday that next week will have far cry 5 and the final Batman episode and then the goal is to try to make Saturday's my day off every week but we'll see how that works moving forward mmm there you go there you go guys um hopefully that works for you hopefully you're looking forward to all this new stuff coming up shortly and you know you will be entertained as they say okay all right guys so now I'm really confused cuz if you look now at this cheerleader board again now says ultimate outcast has top tier with five hundred bits yet ultimate outcast again has not cheered from what I can see addition to the fact that you know that everything we put out on the Internet is gonna be scrutinized and torn apart and derided and made fun of so knowing that you know being in her first video ever I'd say she did a pretty damn good job um so thank you to those who have been you know very nice regarding the video and you know there you go watch the video that is what you will get you get your channel there you go alright um what else do I have anything else to talk about well folks it is very hot here today just to forewarn you guys we are having a heat wave an abnormal heat wave here in Washington it's almost never warm in the spring to be what we get in the spring time which is not spring yeah it's still considered winter for another week or two here but um it's in the spring typically what we get is a lot of rain and a lot of cloudiness for a rare two days we've had beating Sun and clear skies temperatures have heated up here by over 15 degrees so it was in the low 50s it's now almost 70 degrees Fahrenheit outside so not only is it outside my office is steaming so I have the window wide open and I'm actually if you believe it I'm wearing summer clothes I'm wearing shorts and a very short like light t-shirt to try to keep my body temperature down because yesterday I was in here and I was soaked in sweat my legs were completely saturated that's gross but that's the situation that I work in here on now normally during the summer I would have the air conditioner on but the thing is looking at the weather starting tomorrow we're going back to typical weather the temperatures are gonna drop another 15 degrees and go back to being cloudy and rainy like we're used to here so no reason for me to get this whole air conditioner hooked up and get the tube installed in the window and everything here in the office and then next thing you know I don't need it anymore and now I can't get air circulation because I blocked up the window so I'm just gonna suffer through it today okay but I just want to ask a little bit for your patience simply because I don't know what's going on here in regards to the weather I don't know what you know maybe it'll cool down today maybe not I hope it does but if not I'm just gonna have to sweat it out alright so please if I'm seemed to be a hot under the collar today as they say please be a little bit patient with me because that's probably wise as the temperature is friggin rising alright okay oh very nice that was a good stretch I just stretched my body I was good all right um I think that's really all I talk about two final things before we get to shout outs for people's contributions already on stream today first of all this month we are doing a subscriptions drive we're trying to push towards 500 total subs on my channel here if we hit 500 subscribers on the DSP gaming or excuse me on the dark side Phill twitch channel I'll be doing a special event it's the return of the patrons choice playthrough by which people who are pledged to my patreon will be voting and nominating all games for a downtime playthrough previous events have included games such as Sonic I think Sonic actually one of the sonic games I forget which one I think was actually Sonic Adventure 1 was the one that won a poll once um the numbers also to me playing Sonic Adventure 2 as well Super Mario Sunshine Spyro the Dragon persona games yo Cruiser games you name it I played it as a patron choice playthrough so pretty awesome stuff comes out of this I would love to do it but we've got to hit 500 subs by the end of this month ok guys the good news is we've got a ton of new games coming out that's haunt and I get the feeling that with these new games coming out um hopefully we will get new people into the listen up especially if you are a big fan of mine coming up in the month of April I got some pretty serious business coming up I'm going to have not one not two but three large tax payments did reason being I had an accountant who used to work for me who screwed me over for three and a half years he insisted he was doing my taxes correctly he was not and I was notified in late 2017 that I owed over two and a half years of back taxes to the state of Washington and I also was gonna have to pay a lump sum of taxes for the year of 2017 in January you guys rallied and helped me out in December all right you did but that only got me over the hurdle of the initial January payment that I was Oh coming up next month I'm gonna have the back taxes for this situation owed plus I'm gonna have to make a large 2017 federal tax payment because I had a big increase in income at the end of last year when you guys helped me out with that situation I owe more money to the feds now so that's gonna be coming due and they now expect me to come up with the first payment for 2018 all in one month how on earth they think I'm going to pull this money out of my ass when in reality the months of January in February were some of the worst months for me ever cuz YouTube ad revenue was way way way down to the point where it was the two worst months I've ever had on YouTube um I don't know I guess I'm supposed to become like a go rob a bank to pay the federal government III don't know how it's supposed to work because certainly the money that came in went straight to paying my bills and not say I don't have any money I do you know from the money that you guys helped me raise back in December I do have some money saved up but it's not gonna be nearly enough to pay all three of these things at once which they all expect me to pay all right so if you would like to help me out all right and help me get through this tax situation there's two ways you can do it either pledge to my patreon as rolling problem over the entire course of this year to the point where I can't pay them off by the end of the year I'm screwed and I'm in a situation where more than likely if that's the case by the end of the year if it doesn't look like I'm gonna make enough money to take care of it I'm probably gonna have to sell my house which I don't want to do I've worked my ass off for 10 years to earn this place and I make it off money to afford it the problem is this tax situation oh this guy who screwed me over not doing my taxes properly has snowballed into a mess that I need to somehow find a way to clean up and that's why I'm appealing to you guys for help because I really don't know what else I could possibly do I've done as much as I can to cut the fat as they say I'll cut corners and cut down on costs and everything around here and you know I've done as much as I possibly can I'm at now kind of at my wit's end where I can't fix this or figure this out by the end of the year I have Lukas is asking he's saying if I hadn't gotten laid off from my office job in 2010 what I still be there now the answer quite frankly is no because guess what folks that company that I used to work for is gone they were sold off they were owned by Sikorsky Aircraft Sikorsky Aircraft was a helicopter company owned by United Technologies and United Technologies sold off Sikorsky Aircraft when it stopped being profitable so it doesn't even exist anymore there was no way at all that if I even stayed at that office job in Connecticut that today I could have still been at it so that's what's funny is you know some people like to say oh I see you feel got laid off ten years ago excuse me eight years ago when I was twenty ten full got laid off eight years ago because he was a terrible worker and I know the whole company doesn't exist anymore so even if I was the best worker at the company I still wouldn't work for them anymore because they would not be busy you technically went out of business all right they got sold off split apart you know dissected so they're even if I never taken up the path of doing videos on the internet full-time I still would not be able to work for that company because they don't exist all right however if I had stayed with that company it's very possible all right that maybe I would have tried to seek out employment at a similar company there are many aeronautical companies in the United States that I am sure if I had stayed with that company you know I was already there for about five years let's say for example I had stayed and I was there had ten years of experience I knew all about aircraft parts you know maybe I could have got a job at another another helicopter company or maybe another aeronautical parts company one major one that we have out here in Washington State is Boeing Boeing is huge they make all kinds of different aircraft or I in fact a lot of the planes that commercially people fly in in the United States are made by Boeing I wouldn't be surprised of a company like that would be interested in someone who has 10 plus years of experience in the field of Aeronautics see what I mean um I also had a lot of training and continuous improvement and the like that a company like that might have been able to take advantage of ok however it definitely wouldn't have been guaranteed um and it would have been you know rough right now the job market is pretty rough ok the job market is pretty rough um and the bottom line is that it's all hypothetical you know who knows what would have happened I certainly didn't choose to do this as a job I never did I never chose to make youtube videos or play video games for a living this was always my hobby and keeping mine I started doing this in 2008 when you couldn't even monetize these videos you could not monetize a gameplay video it was not allowed on YouTube they wouldn't let you do it um so I did it for you know two and a half years purely as a hobby before I ever thought to try to monetize it because I had lost my job um I more than likely would have liked to stay with a full-time job why here's the benefits okay number one number one you get much better health insurance any health insurance you get through a major corporation way better okay way better than what you can get for yourself way cheaper way better coverage you know right now if I go to a doctor I owe a certain amount of money as a copay if I had a corporation of roof health pant it would probably like $5.00 if I go now it's probably $80 you know what I mean it's just way better plans and stuff that's number one so my health insurance and health coverage would be way better number two stability and you know something's to be said about it is any table really stable no at any time any company can give you the ax and fire your ass all right that's absolutely 100% true however however having job security and no Oh at least everyday there's a strong chance I'm still gonna have my job I work a certain set amount of hours and even though yes some weeks I may go over those hours right at least I know exactly when I'm gonna work I have accumulated time off sometimes you have paid time off or paid vacation time these are all things I don't get a day when I don't work is the day I don't make any money right so you know once a week I take a day off to be with my girlfriend I don't make any money that day so that's kind of the perspective in the comparison here is that being self-employed is great in some ways and others is a big detriment so you know what would have happened what I would I've eventually even if I had kept that office job and didn't get laid off would I have eventually migrated to being a full-time streamer I don't know it certainly would have been different cuz just doing part-time versus doing the big focus that I did in 2011 to do this full-time certainly would have been a different experience um it's all hypotheticals and what-ifs and you can't really answer these kinds of questions you don't know what would have happened but let me put it this way I love what I do absolutely I love what I do for a living you know if I had a choice of something that I love to do for a living this would be what I want to do um but as you guys know there's a lot of risky business there's a lot of uncertainties there's a lot of oh you know negatives that come with this kind of job as well so there you go all right now let's get to people who cheers up when the stream was actually running here okay um Philip rocker did a 60 bit cheer little nervous I was very like more mild-tempered in my voice um and a lot of the times I would say a lot of things that would trail all a lot of people even used to say to me Phil you ramble too much you get off on tangents or whatever and it took a long time for me to not do that so I think she did a great job for this being the first major video she's ever appeared in um you know so there you go then critical for date shoot again he said shout out to the people that got modded kind of funny and people say that they got money because uh oh because they pay Phil a lot of money see that's not the case here's the deal first of all he's talking about infinite and mr. swaggins okay both of which are new trial mods they've been mature Ahmad's for a couple days and done a pretty good job we're gonna keep an eye on them and see how they do and if they continue to do well they'll become permanent mods more than likely for the earlier stream that's really what I need their help force for the first streams the reason these guys became mods is because number one their stream regulars who are here all the time they're able to be here for the first streams people trust them they're not sure why I don't know what's going on can you can you please look into it so I asked the mods literally live on stream I said does anyone know why this person's been banned maybe it was an error maybe someone misclicked because this happens sometimes you get a boss a bot that spams or something and you miss click when you're moderating or maybe it was you know a misunderstanding who knows I asked the mods at the time does anyone know who this guy is or why he would have been banned no one knew no one knew the situation I said alright then let's just unbanned the guy for now let's see if he behaves and if he behaves tonight great you know welcome back and if not back and immediately he's some kind of a douchebag control and this was a trick to try to fool us we'll just Rabanne him what's the big deal right so we unbanned them and it turns out the guy was nice and that was that so this idiot makes a video Oh bollocks but feel accepted a monetary bribe on stream to get someone unbanned that I made in 2017 make an estimated amount of taxes that they think I may oh this year and then on a quarterly basis I have to pay a certain amount of taxes based on that estimate so no just because was hitting you know what I mean so even though there's been some games that I played that I really liked that went under the radar um all right you know what murdered soul suspect if you like murder mysteries with a supernatural twist and if you're like narrative based games you're really gonna like that game I did a full playthrough of it I actually really enjoyed it although critics panned to the game and said it was terrible if you actually play the game at face value just looking for a good story you're actually really gonna enjoy it there you go my recommendation is murdered soul suspect I got a hundred cheer from Ganon resurrected asking about a youtuber who apparently has been talking shit about me I have no idea dude I've said this a million times I don't know I don't know anything about people talking shit about me I don't pay attention to it I'm sure every single day there's another dumb youtuber who wants to call but you know puts my name in their mouth for them to alright hello everybody hello hello hello and a will come how is everyone doing today it was up it's Saturday it's the weekend mm-hmm which means for many of you you know time away from school or work so although sadly still have to work luckily for me my job is playing fun video games with you guys so it ain't so bad right um what if you do get stuck at work this weekend you know I hear you cuz I used to be along with you I used to work you know fast food and retail both of which you do not usually close during the weekends so you end up you know working more often than not right so that being said welcome today is Saturday March 10th 2018 I am Darkseid Phil and welcome to the beginning of my salty saucy Saturday streaming for s's salty saucy Saturday streaming what does that mean well it means several things the first thing it means is that I'm gonna be playing multiplayer games all day long whenever I say salty I mean technically I'll be playing something where I'm probably gonna end up getting frustrated a little bit and as you know typically when I play multiplayer games sometimes I have a ton of fun and sometimes I get frustrated it all depends um in particular with Call of Duty World War 2 it's been a mix recently because I've been doing much better at the game than I ever previously did ever since I switched my weapon from the bar over - what is it the STG I believe I've been doing way better and people were saying see Phil if you had done this earlier you probably would have a lot more fun with the game because the STG is a better gun than the bar so shame on me I guess we're not trying out weapons even though I don't even know the difference between many of the guns in the game um so I've been doing good you know bee sting being at the top of the leaderboards MVP several times always the top of my team having a lot of fun with the game learning the maps a lot better that's for sure then I had previously okay hmm so I'll be playing Call of Duty World War two here on my first stream later tonight I'll be playing pub G player unknowns back grounds the return of the game that really when I play isn't so much about the game it's more about me having a fun interactive session with you guys you know talking with you having discussions while I run and loot and gather items for 27 minutes until finally there's a showdown at the end of the match um that should be for later tonight because I haven't played the game in a week and a half and if you guys aren't aware they patched it again um in order to supposedly make it a better experience I'm not exactly sure what was patched I guess we're gonna find out okay um so that's later tonight um so fun full day of multiplayer okay multiplayer multiplayer multiplayer pretty much constantly so it should be great um FYI - just so you guys know tomorrow guys if you've been if you saw the premiere of bully yesterday and you're wondering gee I wonder when bully's coming back tomorrow's main gameplay stream will be bully alright just so you know so people don't be disappointed no there's no bully today but bully scholarship Edition will continue tomorrow's mainstream all right mm-hmm okay so that's today so why that's why it's salty Saturday okay because I'm playing multiplayer all day why is it saucy Saturday well it's because for the first time in over five months it was actually early October the last time when I made a pot of my homemade Italian sauce here's my family recipe that's been passed down at least from my grandmother to my mother and out to me and I love making this because number one it's absolutely delicious okay it's mouth-watering you know tastes much better than any store-bought sauce that I bought um number two because it ends up providing for many meals I end up usually getting around six containers of sauce out of it when I make it so not only will I be eating today I'll have six other meals in the future all delicious sauce and think all the things you can make with sauce right you can make pasta you can make grinders with sausage or or meatballs or whatever really good and the other cool thing about it is that guess what it makes the whole house smell amazing all day long today my entire house will smell like delicious pasta sauce you'll see roasted garlic and delicious simmering onions oh you know me freshly hand made meatballs all these things that I'm just made this morning all being made in my kitchen right now slow simmering okay so that's the good news the bad news is that sadly this means every about half an hour or so I have to take a short break not that it's a huge deal because what I do is I go downstairs I stir the sauce I make sure everything's good make sure the meatballs didn't stick to the plot because that creates burning and then every other time that I do this I usually add additional seasonings you know all kinds of things I add garlic salt onion salt basil oregano um every once in a while a little bit of pepper or sugar or something stuff like that you know some tasting seasoning over the course of the day the sauce has to simmer for five hours so far it's been simmering for 30 minutes so it's got another four and a half hours that it needs to simmer before it's ready for me to serve for dinner tonight um so that means it's perfect cuz I have time to play call of duty but as I just mentioned I will have to take frequent breaks about every twenty to thirty minutes now the good news here is because I'm playing call of duty guess what it will not really interfere with the stream that much because as you know Call of Duty matches you know typically lasts what ten minutes each for like a team deathmatch or a Kill Confirmed you know war lasts a little longer I'd say war can last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on how long the match actually goes and how close the match is okay um so I'll be keeping my eye on the clock today and between you know maybe like I said two three matches probably head downstairs and stir and season the sauce until it's done okay so that's why it's both a salty and a saucy Saturday pretty cool I'm excited I haven't had the sauce in so long I really am dying for it because I've been having store made shitty sauce and it's like every time you taste a UH it literally tastes like you're eating a can of tomato paste most of the time when you're eating store made sauce it really is it seriously just not the same as you know hand grinding Italian tomatoes and seasoning yourself you know it's very different so alright so that's the deal for today folks multiplayer all day long I'll be taking breaks during the call of duty stream in order to stir and season the sauce that's the deal okay few things I have to talking about here on pre stream before we get started first of all congratulations are in order for both mr. swaggins and infinite 55 who have been temporarily promoted as trial moderators here in the stream chat so we should all have a nice round of applause for them let's see if I can find the right thing here I actually don't think that's the one I wanted what's this one that's not it hold on maybe this one no this is it this one that was the one I wanted all along so congratulations to infinite and mr. swaggins for becoming trial mods okay so what does that mean it means that we're gonna have a few other people who are gonna be helping to moderate in particular they're being brought on because my earlier streams my first streams of the day seems to not have as many moderators you know recently pops of Colo kick in they've been really busy with school and work and stuff like that um and really it's been B though B though has been trying to moderate by himself for a while and it's not fair it's just not fair that one person should have all that responsibility on their shoulders and also he can't be here full-time either so we're bringing on a few other people some regular faces now they are trial mods and you know it's their job to see if they can make the chat a friendly place for everyone yeah I will I will take this opportunity everyone should do this right now okay if you're on the stream take a look at the stream rules they are listed publicly below the stream on my twitch channel page you should read them because many people I get the feeling just never read them and don't even understand you know I got kicked from the chat what happened you know give them a look it's a good idea and you know these guys infinite answer wagons will be here to try to help out with the moderation on the earlier streams in particular recently we've had a lot of box coming in and spamming we've also had some silly raid that it's one thing if you have a raid where people call me and they're just you know doing silly stuff it's another time they're coming in and spamming the stream chat for 25 minutes with crap that no one knows what they're talking about so that's why we have new moderators to try to curtail some of that all right but again as I said it is a trial basis if they do a good job then maybe I'll I will consider you know bring them on as permanent moderators here especially because folks if you're not aware new games are right around the corner we've got new games coming out as early as this coming Friday with burnout paradises remaster then we've got sea of Thieves the South Park fractured of a whole expansion ninokuni too far cry 5 and the final Batman episode are all coming up in the next two weeks between now and the end of the month so with all that new stuff going on um we definitely are gonna need people to help out with the moderation because you know we're gonna have an influx of viewers for the new games that we haven't had recently and looking for is positive feedback of what you've got what kind of functionality you guys would like to see things in the works right now the playlist search is coming back so for example you'll be able to search for all of my playthroughs that I've ever done in the ten years that I've played games for the Internet you'll be able to type in any game name and it'll bring up a listing of the playlists on YouTube of games that I played that are similar to what you typed in now what we're adding looking to do is add new functionalities for example you could search for oh I want to see you fill play a third-person shooter and you could just type that in third-person shooter and boom it'll show you playthroughs that are categorized by that how cool would that be right then instead of using YouTube's terrible search criteria that my website would be a custom search that allows you to access ten years of content and find all of my playthroughs a certain you know genres that'd be pretty amazing some games that will be heavy on one or the other but I don't think there's any particular oh this is the right way or this is the best you know what I mean if it did another wonder pictures that keep doing your taxes I know enough to do them but then he didn't do the research and I got screwed you know three and a half years I should have been paying these taxes and been registered as a business and I wasn't that's the problem you'll adapt ER in Connecticut where I came from apparently the regulations say I never needed to do that okay but now here in this state it's different because here's what you got to realize you'll adapt er in Connecticut I was paying state income tax so the state of Connecticut was making tax money off of me no matter what here there is no state income tax in the state of Washington so that's why they have these business taxes so they can at least make some kind of tax income by the way it's nowhere near what I was paying in Connecticut but it's still significant and that's the problem the guy didn't do his due diligence and he screwed me over so it is the attorneys got a problem it's not my fault it's not the trolls for the troll you know all he did was tip off the state the bottom line is I would have kept not paying these taxes infinitely until finally someone found out so imagine 10 15 years down the line I'm now told oh you should have been paying these taxes and by the way it's like $40,000 to which I be like well I guess I'm done I have no I'm never gonna raise that much money you know so in a kind of a way is it a good thing that I happened before it accumulated into an insane amount of money yes at the same time it shouldn't happened at all the tax attorney should have done his job and that's why I'm in the situation I'm in shutouts even ended another hundred bitch year he said shout out to mr. swaggins for shouting me out and then mr. swaggins at 150 bitch here which he became the cheerleader temporarily and he said shout out to infinite for shouting me out and then infinite to the 200 bitch here and said shut up mr. swaggins were shutting me out twice so if it retains the top cheer spot Yes it does mess up some commonly said things, but its a balance between:
  • accuracy
  • time/effort required
  • ease of use
Almost no dedicated software is able recognize fuck all to do with video gaming or xbox and would require me to set up something to let it sit there for an hour and process each video. So its much better to have something that can actually recognize "new" words in the DSP language rather than be accurate about minor shit that doesn't really matter.

And if I make automated corrections then it's the wrong way of doing it, the best way is for people to suggest corrections using Google's auto-translate service and then it'll improve over time.

Judging from the few parts I've looked at and having used Google's feature to scrub through some videos by DSP and other people its actually surprisingly accurate and I don't really think there's a more accurate service (short of using special software and training it to understand DSP which would be a huge effort with very little added benefit).

Overall I'd put the translations at about 90-95% accuracy. But I made clear in the OP that if you want the "true & authentic" captions you should go check the streams themselves.

okay what's going on everybody what is up hello hello well welcome everybody it was up mm-hmm how's everybody doing today today is Friday March 9th 2018 that is right I am Darkseid Phil welcome to a fun double streaming day today folks it's gonna be a fun one we've got a lot of special events going on we've gotten the conclusion of my heavy rain throwback playthrough the anniversary run right um it's been pretty fun re-experiencing this game but now we are at the very end so we really only have I'd say roughly an hour left to go here so with so little left in the game um definitely it would make sense for me to you know do something else on stream you know I do a 4 plus our game play stream so what we're gonna do is we're gonna first finish up with heavy rain here on the PlayStation 4 and then I'm going to switch over to the Xbox one and we are going to start up with my bully scholarship edition playthrough I'm pretty excited I play bully in 2013 it was a time when a lot of things were changing for me I was switching from direct capture tilt to excuse me I was switching from a camcorder slash you know digital camera recording to direct capture and I was switching from just doing offline video content to live streaming and it was a huge change for me huge uhm but because of that the quality of the playthrough kind of suffered because what happened was unfortunately if you actually go back and you watch it the first half of the playthrough is done with the camera and it kind of looks kind of crappy you know the colors fading the the light adjustment audio doesn't sound good then I switch to direct capture but you know this was when I was very first playthrough major play through that I was doing where I had switched over to direct capture and I had tons of technical difficulties I remember there were things where that the game would slow down and the audio would chop off in a pixelization and crash and you know that's all due to my capture software not doing it properly um so there's a big segment of that playthrough that's kind of messed up permanently you know because of that um so you know I really like playing bully I enjoyed the game thoroughly it's basically grid is auto without anyone dying huh and it's a lot more lighthearted in that regard so I'm very much looking forward to bully a second time um so hope you guys are too you know I'm gonna be playing on the Xbox one the scholarship Edition which I own on Xbox 360 was actually upgraded for Xbox one and if it's any indication by last year when I played Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox one because that had also been upgraded the game should look great I'm pretty much looking forward to it so this first gameplay stream of today should be great the conclusion of heavy rain and then the premiere of bully scholarship Edition should be pretty good right so I'm very much looking forward to this stream then later tonight Secret of Mana may even conclude tonight I'm not sure if it will but it may we're heading into the last couple areas of the game um and we'll see what happens with that heading into the final areas but you know I know there's gonna be probably a boss gauntlet and everything at the end of the game we'll see but it should be pretty good I hope that you guys are who have been following along that more chill playthrough are excited for that to possibly conclude tonight okay Oh tomorrow folks tomorrow is a salty saucy Saturday why is it a salty saucy Saturday well very simple number one I'm making a pot of homemade Italian sauce in the morning takes about two hours for me to you know make the meatballs process all this you know make the sauce ingredients chop them up get them all into the sauce going simmering and everything um and then I'll be doing multiplayer gameplay all day long tomorrow the first gameplay stream will be Call of Duty World War two and then the second gameplay stream will be the return of player unknowns battlegrounds which was patched this last week okay so for those of you who've been craving multiplayer action you're gonna get it tomorrow all day long a funs a fun multiplayer Saturday okay but why am i calling it saucy Saturday because since I'm making this Italian sauce all about every twenty to thirty minutes I'll be taking a break to go season and stir the sauce and therefore it's perfect since I'm playing Call of Duty you know between every two three matches head down there you know stir or whatever it should be perfect um in that regard so it should be a fun day a fun day multiplayer good stuff for those who love pub G and the interactive streams it's returning tomorrow night I know it's been quite a long time since I did pub G now it's been over a week so some people are having pub G withdrawals we used to really load the pub G streams so it should be good a good day and then Sunday a whole stream of bully okay and then Monday bully paired with something else paired with what well that's gonna depend it's gonna depend on G did I finish Secret of Mana if not okay then I'll probably do Secret of Mana if I did then I'll decide G do I want to do a more Call of Duty do I want to do pub G do I want to do something else you know there's a lot of options because now I'm gonna have a few days of open time to kind of do whatever I want I finished okie dokie literature club last night for those who aren't aware um and boy if you missed that stream guys what a mind fuck no kidding like the two and a half hours of a gameplay that I did last week on the Indies marathon if that's all you've seen you missed out last night that game went into overdrive it completely just changed from the kind of game that it was into a crazy-ass game um pretty wild it was it was pretty wild and I really enjoyed it it was a good two and a half hours of zany mind fucking fun so if you did not see it it is live on YouTube already um it's really good my reactions were great because I did not expect any of that luckily thank God no one spoiled it for me I didn't know what to expect or what was gonna happen and boy did it surprise me so check that out live over on DSP gaming on next week and then of course a week from today one week from today ladies and gentlemen the new content begins burnout paradise remastered releases one week from today I'll be starting that up sea of thieves releases on the 20th of March I'll be playing that there's apparently the very first story based DLC for South Park the fractured but whole releasing the same day you see of these and I'll probably be checking that out um ninokuni two starts on the 23rd of March and then Far Cry 5 and the final episode of Batman the telltale series episode two both start on the 27th so we've got pretty much a crazy uh you know marathon of fun new content starting one week from today you know the final two to two-and-a-half weeks of the month is gonna be just new stuff new stuff new stuff new stuff constantly so for those who've been kind of disappointed man Phil's doing all downtime stuff there's no new games is boring well that's definitely going to change alright definitely going to change um all starting in one week so one more week to go okay now ladies and gentlemen for those of you who are you're live on pre stream I have some questions for you and some information for you big announcements alright big positive announcement today in regards to my website the king of hate calm you may have noticed folks I really mentioned the website in fact I haven't mentioned it in quite some time because the website really hasn't had anything going on um it used to be years ago this website used to be a hub where you could go and it would list all my new playthroughs and it would have a link to my streaming whatever I was streaming on at the time whether it was YouTube or twitch and basically I had a lot of fun front page integration on that made a go-to destination if you wanted to see what Phil was up to you go to the King hate comm and there's your answer right um not so much the past couple of years the website kind of fell off the the functionality with YouTube stopped working because I will YouTube changed a lot of things a lot of their information feeds and everything were changed and basically a lot of the functionality stopped working in fact one of the major things that the website that people loved that stopped working a month or two ago was that used to have this thing called a playlists tab where you could click on it and you could search for any video game play through that I had done into 10 years that I've been putting out video game playthroughs on the Internet you'll be able to search and bring up a video game play through and find it there cuz you know it's actually really hard to find stuff on YouTube good luck if you want to find Phil's playthrough of I don't know let's think of a random game body-count okay if you go search on youtube for Oh body count playthroughs good luck finding my youtube search algorithm is a piece of garbage it only focuses on videos that basically conform to their algorithm requirements in fact this is how bad it is all right my videos of games like spider-man web of Shadows and Spiderman shattered Dimensions have the most views of any videos for those games but if you actually search in YouTube search algorithm for playthroughs of that game you won't even find my videos you can't even find the videos that have the most views of a game if you search for that game they don't come up how stupid is that because YouTube changed everything you know at some point over the years YouTube changed their algorithms and screwed over people like me who make raw gameplay okay they just did so people really enjoyed having this search function on my website where if you were a big fan of mine and you'd like to go back and watch older throwback playthroughs you could just search on my website and have it bring up okay alright well ladies and gentlemen I have a big positive announcement all right are you ready I just spoke with Onix my webmaster and basically he's been working on our site redesign for quite some time he just hasn't had any real free time to work on it Oh keep in mind this guy's a volunteer I don't have any money to pay him okay so for the over the years you know all the work he's done on the website has always been for free and you know because he's a fan and you know he wanted to help out and for him it's good experience with web design and stuff like that so here's the deal right now he's working on a site redesign of the king of hate comm all right what features is he going to be including we do you hear this stuff number one he is bringing back the playlist feature so you're gonna be able to again have a home well I want to go to Phil's website and find anything he's ever done it's gonna work again okay immediately he wants to add that alright number two here's something he's working on he wants to add a new kind of functionality instead of it just being oh you know search for the name of a game he wants it to be you can search for a genre so think of it this way I want to see RPGs that Phil has played I feel like watching an RPG playthrough you click RPG boom it'll bring up like RPGs that I've played over the years I want a third-person action game shooter boom it'll bring up games like Uncharted and stuff like that how cool would that be right that you now be able to search by criteria of what you want to see rather than based on a specific game that's pretty amazing isn't it now of course there's a lot of work that has to go into that because it's gonna have to be able to categorize certain kinds of playthroughs and stuff I honestly don't know how it's gonna work because I I'm not going to uh you know be doing that hi I certainly don't have time to sit down and say oh you know oh this game is this kind of game or whatever so I don't know if it's gonna be automated or if there's a protocol listing maybe there's like a database listing somewhere that he can access of different games and their descriptions or whatever but that's what he's working on okay now in addition to that he's working on something that if it works which we don't know if it's going to work okay could be a huge positive for those who pledged to my patreon all right one of the biggest hurdles I've had using patreon over the years isn't the fact that people are eager to help isn't the fact that I love giving perks it's the fact that patreon has been a completely manual website and what I mean by that is every month you guys pledge to my patreon okay at the end of the month all your pledge is clear whatever then I have to sit down and I literally have to take a excel file from the website how serious I was seriously stupid that sounds this is what I do I have to export a manual excel file from the website and I then have to use that data from the excel file to create things such as thank you shout outs and things in my videos then I have to go into the website they have a page or like a grid of people who pledged and whose pledge is cleared whose pledges didn't clear and I have to manually message you guys and say oh I need this information from you for this perk this information from you from this perk blah blah blah okay what we're looking to do is to automate the process so if you pledge to my patreon let's say once a week something will run a script will run and check and see look at the status of patrons and see oh did anyone pledge to patreon this week and if they did how much did they pledge and based off of that it'll automatically send out messages to the patrons saying we need this information and this information from you to upgrade you and stuff like that and it's gonna be an automated process by which it kind of looks at my forums and things says okay these people pledge this month but didn't pledge the next month therefore this person should not be a patron any more or a I have a premium access to the forums anymore and you know will downgrade them but we'll make sure the people who are ongoing pledges get upgraded basically things that were always massive manual work before behind the scenes hopefully will now be automating and the thing is there's been a big complaint and this is a valid complaint some people have said Phil it sucks because we pledged to your patreon all right and then we have to wait until the next month so let's say right now today is March 9th if you pledge to my patreon today you have to wait until early April in order to get your perk right now April 1st is the first Sunday of April you'd probably have to wait till April 9th because sadly pledges don't flow don't usually process fully on the first day so you'd have to wait until I have free time which is usually Sunday I in order to do the patron stuff so would be April 9th finally I'd message you to get your perks right instead of that this would be an automated process by which something would automatically check and send out messages so I'd just be constantly getting in here's an email from a new patron here's their info and we can send that right off to my webmaster and get you upgraded quickly and get your perks quickly instead of you sitting around waiting for perks you know for a month okay it's always been a shortcoming of the patron system patreon system that I've hated is that it's a manual process okay um so that's another potential major upgrade and maybe people would actually be like man you know I I stopped being a patron because I didn't like this for this maybe now I'd like to be a patron again right um so it's just another thing right pretty cool now here's the deal folks the website is gonna look different as well okay so what I'm appealing to you guys what kind of things would you like to see on the new king of hate comm website what functionality would you like how would you like it to look do you even have any ideas for logos designs for the website because onyx is gonna be working with an actual professional web designer to redesign the website from the ground up and he wants ideas he's looking for um ideas from you guys I mean ideally you were the guys we're gonna be using it on a daily basis right you're the you're the people who are gonna be saying man you know I want to look at this or this so you're the ones um so let me know let me know what you think let me know if you have any ideas okay um so stream here okay number one we do have a big subscriptions drive this month by the end of this month my goal is to hit 500 subscribers right now we're at like 420 something so it's definitely doable especially with the fact bully is about to start which a lot of people were excited for and then next week the new content a new game start rolling out constantly so there's big potential to get people excited coming to the streams and subscribing for the first time in a long time alright I really feel we could do it by the end of this month okay if we do hit 500 subscribers by the end of March I'll be bringing back the patrons choice playthrough by which people who pledge to my patreon will be nominating and voting on a downtime video game that'll be played alongside all the new releases now in the past these have been some really amazing playthroughs like Super Mario Sunshine Spyro the Dragon you know you'll Cuusoo persona amazing games then it will led to sometimes multiple playthroughs and you know there's really fun stuff so all that being said um I am very excited to see what people will choose for the next patrons troyes playthrough especially now I have capabilities of playing more games than ever before since my we can now play GameCube games alright but that being said we have to hit the 500 subs so let's make a big push for it alright less than 75 to go at this point I know that we could do it and thank you very much to everyone who is very very supportive now there is a stretch goal 550 subs that's quite frankly pretty unlikely I mean maybe if a lot of it on every stream now I'm nervous about my future of being able to do this for a living and being able to stay in my house why am i nervous because coming up in April I have three giant tax payments that are due the first is back taxes for the state of Washington which are really not my fault whatsoever I had a tax attorney who I paid thousands of dollars a year to handle my taxes and he screwed me over and didn't do his job and now I owe two and a half years of back taxes then I don't have the money for okay and these are gonna start coming due in April now in addition to that I now have a tax payment for the the federal government for the year of 2017 that I'm gonna owe in mid-april because I made some extra money last year to help me with the taxes situation I had in January that was still part of the state tax situation um and then I got my first federal payment for 2018 due in April and I don't have money for all this I don't I'm just be real with you guys I have some I like meanie a couple thousand dollars saved up because I have some excess money from January from you guys being so supportive at the end of December but the problem here is YouTube's been down January and February YouTube's been absolutely terrible so if YouTube were good then I'd have oh wow here's all this extra money to pay the taxes YouTube has been absolutely god-awful for two straight months so even though I've been doing good on Twitch it's basically just negating the the bad stuff on YouTube and it's just enough to pay my bills so you know I don't have it I don't know what's gonna happen in April if I don't have this money what's your end up happening is if I can't pay fees interest all kinds of penalties that are gonna be levied against me and then they're gonna expect me to somehow pay in the future so hopefully you know God please God knock on wood hopefully things go well this year and keep going as well as they have so hopefully at some point this year I'll make enough money to be able to pay these taxes alright absolute worst-case scenario if I can't pay these taxes in April and then I can't pay them in June when the next tax payments due and then I can't you know what I mean if I still keep paying them I'm gonna have to sell my house and move which I don't want to do you know my girlfriend just moved in with me we're having a great life together we're getting settled in we're getting into a routine now you know pretty soon she's gonna start driving everywhere and and she's about to start off her job which she just transferred to here and everything's going good on our end the streams are better than ever you guys have been telling me it was amazing positive feedback you love what I'm doing here you just want to keep it going I want that too and this sucks that I'm in a position now there's nothing real I can do I don't think that could sell there's nothing I could do to fix this situation I'm screwed over because of one irresponsible asshole in Connecticut saying that I would never redo them in fact I think redoing Indigo Prophecy could be a really good idea because that was a play directed way back in 2010 it was the Halloween of 2010 if you guys can believe it um and I be you know happy to you know do kind of an anniversary style playthrough for that but I think there would be too much Quantic Dream in too short of a period of time much like people wanted me to play 400 mario games back to back which didn't make sense um what I would consider it for the future Plus this summer we've got my blood-borne run I want to do the possibility of things like maybe Knights of the Old Republic or maybe playing a new JRPG you know there's this new JRPG coming out on the switch and this is what like the Plex or something like that I don't know um there's actually it looks like for a change there may be some stuff during the summer coming out that I can balance with already established plans like I said blood-borne so I don't know how much how much dead time honestly I'm gonna have during the summer for me to say oh you know here we go with a bunch of Quantic Dream playthroughs or anything like that we'll see but for now I'm gonna say it's probably off the tables it's like Justin playing heavy rain and then I'm gonna be doing the Detroit become human I think it would be too much too soon of the same style of game okay okay shout out to no no no I did not buy a new hard drive to install in my PC for like running programs I bought a storage external hard drive to back up my video files many of you may not know this because I mean shit it's been years since I really did any kind of a walkthrough video of my office and kind of explained my methodology for anything so I don't blame you guys but for those of you who don't know I backup all of my video files every single gameplay video that I've ever made for YouTube all right every single one that I've ever made for you two has been backed up on an external hard drive in fact right now I'm not even lying on my computer desk I see a stack of one two three four five six eight external hard drives hold on a second whole 2017 here's 2016 2015 Wow yep that's a lot of gameplay yeah so right now I walked over and I looked at him eat external hard drives right now sitting on my computer desk the the files range from late 2014 if you guys remember 2014 was the year I moved to Washington State and I started doing videos here you know in my new home so pretty much second half of 2014 through now so pretty much almost four full years of gameplay videos are right now literally sitting on my computer - ok you might say well why just Phil do that why does feel backup all his video files if he just uploads them to YouTube I don't understand why it's very simple folk you don't realize how fickle things are overnight you too could disappear okay it's true overnight you could just say we're going away we're not a profitable venture anymore well we would never were and Google's not gonna support us anymore so thanks for all so long and thanks for all the fish but we're out of here you know good night and good luck little bump bump bump right and they're gone and then guess what all that content that I created 10 years of content would be lost if I hadn't backed it up right it's the truth oh you do you know look how fickle YouTube is with other shit they could just be on me out of nowhere for no reason if they really wanted through they could YouTube could just say at any moment say goodbye and kick you in the butt and say goodbye now some people said well then why don't just get rid of YouTube why do you upload to YouTube just you twitch same thing twitch at any moment could determine that for some reason they don't want me on the site anymore and give I've ever done you know the four plus well four years that I lived here plus you know 6 years of gameplay I have on other external hard drives stored or you know then I move when I moved across the country I took them with me um over here on my in my storage area in my closet so yeah pretty crazy um the amount of you know work that goes into him backing up and everything so yeah it was not a computer a hard drive I'm strolling in my PC to make my PC have more storage space that's not the case decision external USB 3.0 hard drive it's actually a Seagate 4 terabyte and judging by the average size of a gameplay video every time I make a gameplay video roughly I'd say if it's a 10-minute video maybe 500 is 600 megabytes ok so you know if you're I put out how many videos do I put out a day right roughly I don't know anyway the least I put out 10 at the most I'll put out like 20 something let's say on average I put out 18 videos a day ok or actually let's increase that let's say on average I say I put out 25 videos a day ok so I'm putting out roughly a gig a day if not more so 4 terabytes you know that's what 4,000 gigs so yeah do the math and figure well you know probably it'll laughs I'm thinking it'll last me roughly a year hopefully hopefully maybe not because the thing is some videos I end up doing longer I don't always do the same amount of videos every day you know for whatever reason the games is a lot of action a lot of motion end up being much larger video files than ones where it's more like oh I played a visual novel today this video is like no no space at all versus games with a lot of motion have a lot more right so yeah we'll see we'll see how long this lasts I hope it lasts a long time I mean I've been using 2 external hard drives for probably roughly I'd say with 8 months and they were 2 terabytes each so hopefully hopefully this 4 terabyte hard drive lasts a long time we'll see but anyway that's what it is it's not a hard drive for my PC or alright hello everybody hello hello and welcome how's everybody doing today yeah hope you guys are doing good hope you guys are feeling great and you're ready for a fun full day of gameplay streaming ladies gents I am I'm excited for where everything we're gonna be doing today first of all first stream here continuing on with the heavy rain anniversary playthrough yesterday I played it for about four hours got through the introduction got through the you know interesting introductions of each character basically to the story we are into the trials with Ethan Mars I believe we've completed the first trial and we're just about to start the second actually okay should be pretty good a pretty good session we'll see how far we get it we'll get into it um we'll see how far we get into it I'm not exactly sure you know if we'll be finishing today or not I remember this game could be anywhere from eight to ten hours long and it all depends on how you do it all depends on gee do you succeed do people die there's a cut entire segments out of the game or now right mmm so far so good you know everyone's still fine but I know coming up there's some pretty important situations where what you choose to do can determine you know what happens to the characters so we're gonna see what happens um I may finish this today I may not if I don't then I'll finish it up tomorrow which I'll explain in just a moment alright alright tonight folks tonight second stream will be doki-doki literature club um I'm giving it a shot now here's the deal I played this game on Saturday during an Indies marathon this was an event that patrons had nominated and voted for games for me to play during this this fun marathon okay and I have to burp excuse me haha that being said I played for about two and a half hours okay two and a half hours and during those two and a half hours I got basically up to a point where people were like Phil if you would played for another 15 to 20 minutes you would have hit the good part of the game and that apparently there's some kind of a crazy twist there's some kind of a really important thing that happens in the game mm-hmm and it turns into basically something completely different than what you expected it's dark apparently though there's all these warnings over the game do not play this if you are young and stuff like that so I can't imagine what the dark turn is going to be I literally do not know I have avoided spoilers thank God so we're gonna see tonight what the dark turn is now here's the thing don't get up your literature Club apparently is about six hours long I've already played two and a half hours so if I play it let's say for another two hours tonight and I like whatever the twist is or whatever okay um I'd be more than happy to do one more final kind of mini stream and finish it up and actually finish the game but if I play this tonight and the twist is stupid and it's just like who cares you know it's something that's not worth it then that's probably I'm not gonna be continuing out what's the point right the thing is I just invested two and a half hours into this game over the weekend and I'm like damn man I really wish I would have known what this twist was because this is the reason why everyone claims the game is worth playing and I didn't get to it okay so I guess we'll see tonight first hand all of us together we'll see what exactly the deal is with this game okay there you go tomorrow as I just stated if we have not completed heavy rain today I will finish it up and then I'll be switching over to bully scholarship edition that's right play through that I first did in 2013 five years ago when I had first switched from recording with the camera and switched over to direct capture okay and the thing is the original playthrough is quite good all right the original e3 was quite good I really love playing bully back today but having a playthrough that was first is kind of crappy visual quality and it changed completely to different audio quality there were technical difficulties during the playthrough um I don't feel like now this might my 10th year anniversary right of doing content on the Internet that it would be really cool to go back and redo perience this game this was the game that actually got voted in second place by one percent of the votes in a poll that I held over the last few days to determine what games I'd be playing this week one person so it was so close that I said you know what fair enough this will be the game that I play after heavy rain finishes especially because ah because ladies and gentlemen um the fact of the matter is that being a 10-year contact creator it's cool to go back every once in a while and replay certain games that have been kind of synonymous with with the great stuff that I've done over the years right and then on top of all of that um the fact of the matter that you know there's no new releases right now we're gonna have a new stuff starting next week in fact it's going to be a the 16th when I'm gonna start playing new content the whole end of March is jam-packed with new stuff okay pretty neat so we'll have more information on that as we approach it alright okay so what else is going on um let me think about this oh let me continue at the schedule so tomorrow look it's the conclusion of heavy rain and then bully scholarship editions starting out alright then at Farrar astrojet boy you're getting a timeout why are you reading the tractor stuff and now drilling the stream chat stop it I'm trying to do pre stream and I look down the first thing I see a strip what do the directors are suing this today in that today how about you just fucking SWAT wise up and stop spamming the stream chat it's hard to concentrate when I gotta see idiots as you every day there's something different that these idiots are saying and doing and you know talking shit a new idiot making a negative video about me another moron you know saying I did this or did that tired of it I just don't pay attention to it and I'm not gonna let the stream chat be derailed all right all right moving on so tomorrow as I just said the conclusion of heavy rain and then the start of bully scholarship edition tomorrow night will be the possible conclusion I say a possible conclusion of semana the reason I say that is I actually have been playing the game for about two weeks now and as of last night I completed a really difficult dungeon like the dungeon was tough it had multiple levels of puzzle and stuff in it it was just very difficult very tricky I do get managed to get through it and it was a pain in the ass but I did uh you know push through it mm-hmm so tomorrow and I I'm a finishing um we'll see but tomorrow night may be the conclusion all Secret of Mana because really for what I'm to understand I did I did I'll be honest with you guys I looked it up because I wanted to see how much was left um there's basically like one or two major areas left for me to go in and it's the final stretch of the game but it's also very like there's a bunch of very difficult bosses coming up supposedly um so yeah it should be pretty good but I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish I hope I can finish it in the next session but I don't know how long it's gonna have a lot of fails here where I'm fighting bosses I die a lot because there's trickiness to the fights or whatever we'll see um so that's gonna be tomorrow night and then Saturday will be a full day of multiplayer but at the same time it's also going to be paired with a day where I'm making a pot of Italian sauce the first time I've made it sauce since October so it's been quite a long time all right what does this mean it means that during the course of the multiplayer stream on Saturday I'll be taking frequent breaks every twenty to thirty minutes in order to go stir and season of my sauce however this is perfectly fine reason being is because I'm playing a Call of Duty on my first stream on Saturday and Call of Duty has matches that are about ten minutes long so I could play maybe two matches three matches head downstairs do that and then you know it won't really enter the stream that much you know what I mean so well that should be good it should be fun all-day multiplayer on Saturday with call of duty on the first stream and then at night I'll be returning to pub G for the first time in over a week yes I know people craving their pub G now it's been over a week since I played it um and usually I played it on the second stream of the late night thing so I'll be doing that again this Saturday night ok Sunday continuing on with bully and then what this week will be you know basically Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday um I'm not sure what day I'm taking off yet but it's probably gonna be Wednesday will be my day off this coming week but during the daytime I'll be doing bully and then at night I'll be mixing it up with a variety of stuff whether it's you know the conclusion of Secret of Mana if I don't finish it yet whether it's um oh you know me doing more Call of Duty or whatever you know I'll be balancing it out so that's kind of 50/50 mainstream being bully and then nighttime stuff you know to make it variety and then on Friday the 16th finally a new game well it's not really it's a remaster burnout paradise a racing game I never played being remastered for modern consoles alright and so I'll be playing that then of course later on this month we got sea of thieves apparently South Park the the fractured behold supposed to get his first story based dlc this month um then we've got ninokuni 2 and then we've got Far Cry 5 and the final episode of Batman - telltale series season 2 so all of that stuff is coming out by the end of the month pretty crazy amount of new stuff right a lot of new stuff coming out um so it should be fun and it should be interesting and there should be a wide variety of stuff on the stream here for you guys between now and the end of the month I certainly hope that you will continue to come check it out on a daily basis hang out with me and have fun with games okay pretty sweet alright so there you go there's this rough schedule what you guys can expect between now and the end of March um I guess I should give a couple updates let's give them update on the subs right now folks we have a drive in the month of March to hit a few sub goals what that means is we hit a certain amount of subscribers here on the channel I'll do some celebratory goals for you guys here one is 500 subscribers we hit 500 subs by the end of the month I'll be bringing back the patrons choice playthrough which is a downtime playthrough of a game that patrons nominate info to see what is going to be you know a full playthrough in between all the new releases previous games that have won this have been games like Super Mario Sunshine Spyro the Dragon um persona games Yakuza games amongst many many others you know there's been probably a dozen patrons choice games over the last three years that I have been doing a patron stuff so that being said I would very much like to have this return there's many games that people have been um talking about G will fill play this G will play that G will fill do this G will fill do that well this is the opportunity right for us to get that in there and you would actually have control over it but we have to hit 500 subscribers on the channel this one with this month as of right now uh I believe there is 429 I think so I think we're at 429 subscribers on to H so we know we're certainly not it's not unrealistic especially between the fact that right now it's only the eighth we've got over three weeks left in them on we've got two jam-packed piece of new releases okay so that being said there's a lot of time between now and the end of the month there's a lot of new releases their probably people are gonna be coming out to watch April I have a pretty serious situation I have not one not two but three few very large tax payments that are gonna begin either begin to be due or due in full in April at least two of them are gonna be doing full one of them I believe it's hopefully gonna be on a payment plan one of them is back taxes for the years of 2014 to 2016 I was supposed to be paying state business taxes here in the state of Washington but my previous tax attorney did a awful job and did not do due diligence to research and find out that I owe these so I've got two and a half years of back taxes that I should have been paying and I would have paid if I had known about them that are now gonna be all old starting in April all right I don't know how much it is I don't know what they're gonna put me on a payment plan which I really hope they fucking do because if they don't I don't have the money for it um in addition to that I have the final remainder payment for my federal taxes of 2017 that's coming due because I made a little bit of extra money at the end of last year because you guys helped me out to pay my 2017 business taxes that came out of nowhere because again I didn't know that I owe to them so because I made extra money at the end of the year now iox tree taxes so I have to pay that in April and then my first estimated tax payment for 2018 is also due at the end of April so I've got three giant tax bills all coming up I don't have the money for them I have some money but I don't have nearly enough money to pay all these bills all because they're all coming up at once all right it's a shitty situation now if I can't pay these it's very simple what happens um whatever I don't pay ends up becoming overdue fees and interest start accumulate all right hopefully what I'm hoping is over the course of this year things continue to go as well as they're going right we've got a bunch of new releases now coming up shortly so I get the feeling we're gonna see increase where people will be showing up to watch stuff more people will be contributing or it's good we're gonna see a big increase in stuff here on Twitch okay what I'm also hoping which I don't know if is ever gonna happen is that YouTube will pick up again what happened last year was that January in February on YouTube were terrible and then in March April May it picked up I'm hoping that happens again cuz right now it's doing terribly alright YouTube is the worst it's ever been I'm making almost nothing on the videos I'm doing even though my views are good my views on YouTube are good but what I'm making is just I'm about to be 36 years old um my job is something that I absolutely love but is not something that is oh I don't I don't I don't wanna say job security because to be quite frank there is no job security it doesn't exist it's a very big misconception that people have you could be in an office job for 25 years and still get laid off you know so there is no such thing as job security but when it comes through what I do for a living all right um it's not very good just little changes over the years when I start all doing this for two years you couldn't even make money doing it then I could only make ad revenue on vlogs but that didn't work out right then I was able to monetize video game videos and at first they were incredibly profitable then they were only moderately profitable now because of the fluctuations on YouTube they've been terrible then I went and streamed on Twitch then I left which is streamed on YouTube then I came back and I stream on Twitch and now primarily I'm a streamer right rather than really a YouTube content creator I just I play games on Twitch right it's been a very big roller coaster ride just over the 10 years that I've done this things have changed so frequently right and so many times that at this point it's just kind of crazy you know how could I as a responsible adult say I want to raise a child oh by the way I have no idea if I can pay my taxes I have no idea if I can pay my bills I don't know if I'm gonna make a lot of money or no money tomorrow you know what I mean it's pretty crazy and it's one thing if you're taking responsibility just for yourself and or a significant other and you guys work together to figure that out and it's a very different story when you're bringing another party into that you know what I mean um at this point and by the way I'm not even saying that I want kids because I was never I never been in my life I've no I don't think I've ever really sat down and thought seriously about it I think if you're gonna have kids you don't think about it until you're in a situation where you can actually support and I really don't feel that I've been in a consistent enough situation in the past 10 years where I would ever even sit down and say oh you know yeah I want kids or I don't it doesn't make sense right I really don't have any crazy desire to raise a child I don't I know some people do they're like man my whole life I've always wanted to have a kid I've never had that feeling I've never had that parental kind of Drive that I must have progeny and I must pass on the genes I really could care to give two shits I just don't care about that at all in any way shape or form um quite frankly with the amount of negativity and trolling and stuff that I put up with on a daily basis I mean we had some of it earlier on stream people already talked about what's the new what's the new drama that people invented about Phil to spill all over the fucking that is completely stupid and untrue but let's just keep propagating it and talking about it since nothing's going on with him anymore because he ignores it right so how could I ha that would that be fair to a kick you imagine a kid growing up the son of DSP and now constantly being bombarded with negativity and shit you know what I mean like just to give some perspective here all right my girlfriend Kat I introduced her to you guys I took a picture of her December which then created a giant whirlwind of she's not real or she's an escort how crazy was that then she moves in with me and we basically share two pictures of her and a bunch of pictures and stuff she's made his food all right almost nothing I've shared almost nothing with you guys about her on purpose and just look at the insane negativity and shit that people have thrown her way already that I'm not gonna bring up any of it but it's not as crazy people have made our long videos about a girl who only has had two pictures of herself on the internet since she moved in with me you know what I mean y'all crazy that is so can you imagine out bringing a kid into the mix that's insane I would never do you know what I mean that's just nuts um at this point in my life you know I'm well to be 36 years old I have no idea if I'm ever gonna have job security or financial security Bom mm no I bro I'm really not in any situation where I'm considering having a kid at all period all right and I don't think I ever will I don't think I really don't realistically see that ever changing that's just kind of you know right now I like being with my girlfriend I like we're building a life together we're having a lot of fun you know experiencing things together for the first time and building our lives together and I think that's gonna be my focus moving forward having just a fun and positive life and you know and that's that now you know some people it's in the cards kids some people it's not I guess for me it's not okay all right all right shut up to eternal napalm who did a twenty five bits year and said Phil well or is it actually said DSP why is everyone excited for the division - I personally couldn't give a rat's ass more excited for a Nintendo Direct you know it's funny because the year was 2016 alright and the year is 2016 there were games coming out and I bought back then keep in mind I was still the person who literally covered every single new release it was like what I was all about I had to cover every new release possible okay that was kind of my deal there's a new game coming out I'm covering it whether it's good it's bad no matter what it is I'm giving my opinion on it alright but what I decided in 2016 was that I was going to change things up I was going to not play every new release instead I was going to focus on things that I liked more than others and the game one of the games that was on the fence about was the division a lot of people were like you got a plate you got to play it we want to see a plate you got to play I made the executive decision at the time I'm not playing this game nothing about this game looks interesting to me you know as a game that's been in development for a long time it's finally coming out it doesn't look good to me oh then when it came out all I heard were horror stories what the game was terrible at launch week but then it got better over time but all it was was one of these team-based cooperative shooters very very excuse me very very grinding alright very grinding and the only reason that anyone really enjoyed the division is because much like destiny and much like all of these other games that aren't co-op based it was fun to play with friends and if you played it by alone it was terrible and all of its flaws were exposed but most people played it with a group of friends and therefore they had a good time was it because they had a good time because the game was good no they had a good time because they were doing co-op with their friends and it hid the flaws of the game and they ended up playing it over time because it was fun to play with friends okay so that um is the reason why I skipped the division and I did not you know I really honestly that year I don't feel like I missed out on anything now over the years apparently the vision had updates and everything but for the most part if you actually look at the general consensus of people who played the division you've got one group of people who insist that it's good but if you ask them how did you play it and how long did you play oh well I played it with my group of hardcore friends and we hung out in it for a couple months and then the expansion came out we came back to it we played it together okay but then you ask other people and they're like no games shit you know really is a pathetic co-op game it's not well designed a lot of flaws and things that were annoying and really the only reason it got hype was because it was a cop just again another co-op game during a year when people were Indic hyped co-op team-based games it was the hype thing at the time and this is what everyone was into it so they enough oh the Division two is coming out you know what I say who gives a fuck like seriously I think now we're finally starting to see that these team-based shooters are now these co-op based games in fact are now starting to lose popularity and instead now the new fad is battle royale right these fads happen all the time first we get the first person shooter fad right and there were four million FPS games all over the fucking everywhere then it was the zombies fad and we had a million games that all had zombie modes and lanes I left for dead and shit you know then there that fad diet out so it was the next one right we kept going from fad to fad to fad and then the fad two years ago was team-based cooperative shooters oh that's old now we got to do battle royal right it's just fat gaming facts um so in that regard I really don't think um I really don't think that it's worth you know playing it know what literally no one has told me that there was a reason to play the division that it was a groundbreaking game that added something to gaming no one who said that it oh this is what you crap you know generic stuff you played another games past together to make a generic boring team-based shooter but everyone played it cuz they played with France right um so there you go stupid absolutely stupid so no I don't care about the division - and I probably never will alright ternal napalm did another 50 bitch here and said bring on today's date NO direct I'll be thrilled with a Metroid Prime trilogy remaster and a reintroduction of shadow of the Eternals well it's funny because when the Tendo director comes out nine times out of ten I literally never hear about it because there's nothing going on but every once in a while Nintendo has something good to say so hey when I tend to direct happens if you guys hear anything I'm fun or amazing happens that's my fault alright so if something goes wrong I will sorry but having a tax attorney who I had for five plus years in Connecticut who I paid a lot of money to do my taxes right and apparently always did when I moved to Washington and I specifically said I think I'm gonna get a new tax attorney because it would sense and he said no don't worry I have the ability to still do your taxes properly I'll you know we'll make sure that everything's done correctly I could still be your tax attorney even though you're moving I trusted this guy he'd always been straight with me he'd always done a good job all right he screwed me you know he really did three years of three and a half years of taxes that I was supposed to be gradually paying which I would have been able to pay slowly if I known I owed them mom that instead you know now I'm completely screwed I've probably thousands of dollars I'm assuming it's gonna be like five grand or more then I'm gonna at least on these back taxes plus whatever the interest plus late fees whatever it's all gonna be right and then you're gonna make me pay it over time the problem is already now I'm screwed because now I owe that on top of the federal taxes which went up you know it's like it's just a big snowballing effect cuz this one asshole no I'm not gonna take responsibility for that I have nothing to do with that sorry but I'm not a tax professional I'm not a tax expert and there's no guidebook on the internet that says if you own your own business and you're moving it from one state to another definitely leave your old tax attorney and get a new one in the state you're moving to none of this exists all right people assume that you know you should just know better does it exist you know this whole thing of you know we're having an internet presence and all of that basically I'm just tired of you know if people want to act like oh I'm supposed to know everything I'm supposed to be this perfect individual that absolutely knows everything whatsoever and you know I'm supposed to be yeah I was supposed to know all of that no it's not you know again anything I did wrong you want to tell me you did this she has her own responsibilities by the way she's a normal adult human and she has you know stuff of her own life to take care of it's not my business to say oh you moved in with me tsunami deal you zero debt with zero issues of their own with zero responsibilities you know what I mean you know every every normal adult human out there who has a job an active life pretty much has their own thing darn you know that's never been my situation you know there was one year really and where I made a pretty ridiculous amount of money on YouTube and that went towards paying off all my previous debts and I saved that up so that I could eventually move across the country to Washington where I am now and that's it every other year that I've done this for a living has been a pretty reasonable you know take you know what you guys got to realize is oh you know it brings in a certain amount of money but I also spend a lot of money to keep this going you know I have a lot of business expenses between like I said the monthly cost of Internet the monthly cost of electricity the monthly all the games that I have to buy and equipment that I have to buy you know having my own health insurance because I'm self-employed there's a ridiculous amount of things you guys aren't aware of that goes into running an operation like this that makes it you know if I just had a nine-to-five job and none of that's a factor right all everything's provided for the electricity I don't pay for it right everything I need to perform the job is provided to me that's different when you work for an employer or when you're self-employed you have to pay for all the shit yourself so regardless of what I brought in that's the other thing we have evidence that field probably made this much during this year and it means absolutely nothing if you have no idea what my expenses are right well what I actually pay were like outstanding debt from the past you have no idea how much actual disposable income I have and that's really the case where I'm a situation where even though I may raise a certain amount of money a year I have a very very little disposable income and that's the problem when he comes with the things of these tax issues come up well I was being it we're barely making ends meet paying all the bills now this comes out of nowhere and I'm somehow supposed to deal with it when I can right mm-hmm see what I mean um it sucks it absolutely sucks and it's it's just terrible that this is that you know a situation that I worked my butt off and despite how hard I work or what I do that something like this could come up and screw me over um I hate it but it is what it is and so again um I would not take on any kind of crazy responsibilities knowing that in the situation I'm in I'm not even in a situation where I'd be able to support the situation okay like having a kid for example all right well we've got a silly cheer from someone called the son of DSP and he said what a big and our company was like what the fuck like how are you operate we have tons of international customers we can't operate as a company we can't get this stuff cleared up and it was a big nightmare situation where they had to hire a crack team of people from outside the company to come in and form a team to try to fix the situation customs can be a huge pain in the ass customs law all right can actually completely ruin a company if you're not aware of what you can and can't do um definitely so in that regard man I feel for you Yolo da / I've you know I've been in that situation where I was
