I was considering the idea absurdity of a devoit Christian being present on the farms on the the freedom of religion thread and as I thought on this it occured to me that most moral codes do not allow for what we do here and considering that most abrahamic codes have an all loving god who explicitly frowns on shitting on losers and being on a farms is dubious under most moral codes personally I have my justifications (or rationalizations) for sneering at autustic simpltons and people way dumber than me in general ( Our conceptions of god/s are probably wrong, This is wrong but I'm horribly flawed like everyone else) but I'm curious about how other farmers view themselves.

-is what we do wrong?
-if so is this an act of evil or meerly a vice?
-if you're a theist what do you think god makes of you shitting on the weak?
-do you have a personal philosophy which allows for this? (nietzsche perhaps?)

I... don't think so? It's really hard to judge yourself. I don't think I am a bad person, but I could be wrong I guess I am alright. If you are wondering about the freak show part of the farms, I don't think you are a bad person for laughing at weirdos. It's a natural reaction to laugh at anything that's alien or weird to us. You'd be a bad person if you wanted to physically harm inoffensive and dumb lolcows. And on the contrary, people here often try to guide those people who are still not completely lost on the right path. And you have to remember that most laughs come from the person directly engaging with somebody trying to rile them up. They could choose to turn the computer off, or not go on the site, and unless they are a monster, their thread usually becomes inactive really fast.

So tl;dr it's okay to laugh, not okay to harm

Many of the cows we laugh at are innocuous and/or severely disabled, and many of the threads in Articles&Happening are just bait to hate on categories of people. You have freedom of thought and speech on anything, but claiming to be 'actually a good person' while being on freakin kiwifarms of all places is hypocritical.
I'm glad KF got some work into exposing disgusting abusive people, but we're clearly not here for that.

I used to do good things for perhaps less than good reasons; because there was an ideal I was aspiring to, not because it was simply my nature to do good things. Then I learned over and over that expedience was almost always rewarded and adherence to principles was almost always punished. I am not a theist, but if I was, here is what I would say. I'm not 'shitting on the weak'. I am viewing the vast array of humanity that God, in his infinite wisdom, chose to create. I wish no ill on cows, and I feel a genuine Christian love for some of them. I genuinely want them to resolve their problems, and live happy lives, but understand that they're not going to do that. I can laugh when weird people do weird things, without feeling any hate towards them. And what we do here doesn't really make peoples lives any worse, with a few exceptions of assholes harassing cows, and cows who are covering up being pedophiles. If any of the cows genuinely reformed, and solved their shit, and actually fixed their unique damage, I would gladly send them money to get their lives back on track and my heartfelt congratulations.

There is a Pentecostal hypochondriac that literally adores complaining about anything resembling Gore/Dragons/Metal Music. She deems those as the devil.

I truly believe in the age old adage of "Do Unto Others as Others Do To You" online and offline and Karma, to put it mildly. If someone, for example, once bullied me and if I stumble upon them years later and we laugh and joke, then I forgive them. Ex: One guy literally posted on Facebook to vote for me for Prom Queen. We were both popular, but he was at the Guitar Club in Middle School.

I am a polytheist and my religion traditionally left the weak babies to die of exposure so being on Kiwi Farms mocking the weak completely morally ok for me. But you're right Julian, Christians do not like you picking on losers. Jesus Christ was a loser pussy. In Christianity, bodily deprivation and weakness are considered holy and good. They think weak body makes the soul stronger. I do not see myself as a bad person for laughing at retards that voluntarily put themselves out there on the internet and act a fool.
