that's ridiculous now the truth of the matter is of course I'm doing all kinds of illicit activities behind the camera I'm actually I'm snorting coke um you know I'm dealing drugs as well I'm you know having rampant unprotected sex all these things that aren't allowed on Twitch I'm do you know all these things alright I'm I'm you're committing mass murder behind the camera you know these things you can't see uh on stream that's why I have to hide my face during pre stream I have to get all these things out of my system before I start the actual gameplay because can you imagine if I started doing that during the gameplay it would totally derail the gameplay of course

675 word description of stirring the sauce:

it was actually early October the last time when I made a pot of my homemade Italian sauce here's my family recipe that's been passed down at least from my grandmother to my mother and out to me and I love making this because number one it's absolutely delicious okay it's mouth-watering you know tastes much better than any store-bought sauce that I bought um number two because it ends up providing for many meals I end up usually getting around six containers of sauce out of it when I make it so not only will I be eating today I'll have six other meals in the future all delicious sauce and think all the things you can make with sauce right you can make pasta you can make grinders with sausage or or meatballs or whatever really good and the other cool thing about it is that guess what it makes the whole house smell amazing all day long today my entire house will smell like delicious pasta sauce you'll see roasted garlic and delicious simmering onions oh you know me freshly hand made meatballs all these things that I'm just made this morning all being made in my kitchen right now slow simmering okay so that's the good news the bad news is that sadly this means every about half an hour or so I have to take a short break not that it's a huge deal because what I do is I go downstairs I stir the sauce I make sure everything's good make sure the meatballs didn't stick to the plot because that creates burning and then every other time that I do this I usually add additional seasonings you know all kinds of things I add garlic salt onion salt basil oregano um every once in a while a little bit of pepper or sugar or something stuff like that you know some tasting seasoning over the course of the day the sauce has to simmer for five hours so far it's been simmering for 30 minutes so it's got another four and a half hours that it needs to simmer before it's ready for me to serve for dinner tonight um so that means it's perfect cuz I have time to play call of duty but as I just mentioned I will have to take frequent breaks about every twenty to thirty minutes now the good news here is because I'm playing call of duty guess what it will not really interfere with the stream that much because as you know Call of Duty matches you know typically lasts what ten minutes each for like a team deathmatch or a Kill Confirmed you know war lasts a little longer I'd say war can last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on how long the match actually goes and how close the match is okay um so I'll be keeping my eye on the clock today and between you know maybe like I said two three matches probably head downstairs and stir and season the sauce until it's done okay so that's why it's both a salty and a saucy Saturday pretty cool I'm excited I haven't had the sauce in so long I really am dying for it because I've been having store made shitty sauce and it's like every time you taste a UH it literally tastes like you're eating a can of tomato paste most of the time when you're eating store made sauce it really is it seriously just not the same as you know hand grinding Italian tomatoes and seasoning yourself you know it's very different so alright so that's the deal for today folks multiplayer all day long I'll be taking breaks during the call of duty stream in order to stir and season the sauce that's the deal okay

why am i nervous because coming up in April I have three giant tax payments that are due the first is back taxes for the state of Washington which are really not my fault whatsoever I had a tax attorney who I paid thousands of dollars a year to handle my taxes and he screwed me over and didn't do his job and now I owe two and a half years of back taxes then I don't have the money for okay and these are gonna start coming due in April now in addition to that I now have a tax payment for the the federal government for the year of 2017 that I'm gonna owe in mid-april because I made some extra money last year to help me with the taxes situation I had in January that was still part of the state tax situation um and then I got my first federal payment for 2018 due in April and I don't have money for all this I don't I'm just be real with you guys

real talk coming up in April I have three large tax payments due two of them are tax payments that are normal federal tax payments but one is inflated because last year I revealed that I have is big third tax issue going on state taxes that I never knew I owed because of an accountant that screwed me over who i paid thousands of dollars to do my taxes properly and he didn't for three and a half years and so now I owe thousands and thousands of dollars in back taxes fees and interest um all those tax payments are coming through in April and I have some money for it but not all the money I know I'm going to need so right now if you really want to help me with this situation you want to see me continue to be able to do this full-time you'll want me to be able to keep my house

we're gonna get to shoutouts here all right coming up in April mm-hmm okay coming up in April I have a pretty serious situation I have not one not two but three few very large tax payments that are gonna begin either begin to be due or due in full in April at least two of them are gonna be doing full one of them I believe it's hopefully gonna be on a payment plan one of them is back taxes for the years of 2014 to 2016 I was supposed to be paying state business taxes here in the state of Washington but my previous tax attorney did a awful job and did not do due diligence to research and find out that I owe these so I've got two and a half years of back taxes that I should have been paying and I would have paid if I had known about them that are now gonna be all old starting in April all right I don't know how much it is I don't know what they're gonna put me on a payment plan which I really hope they fucking do because if they don't I don't have the money for it um in addition to that I have the final remainder payment for my federal taxes of 2017 that's coming due because I made a little bit of extra money at the end of last year because you guys helped me out to pay my 2017 business taxes that came out of nowhere because again I didn't know that I owe to them so because I made extra money at the end of the year now iox tree taxes so I have to pay that in April and then my first estimated tax payment for 2018 is also due at the end of April so I've got three giant tax bills all coming up I don't have the money for them I have some money but I don't have nearly enough money to pay all these bills all because they're all coming up at once all right it's a shitty situation now if I can't pay these it's very simple what happens um whatever I don't pay ends up becoming overdue fees and interest start accumulate all right hopefully what I'm hoping is over the course of this year things continue to go as well as they're going right we've got a bunch of new releases now coming up shortly so I get the feeling we're gonna see increase where people will be showing up to watch stuff more people will be contributing or it's good we're gonna see a big increase in stuff here on Twitch okay what I'm also hoping which I don't know if is ever gonna happen is that YouTube will pick up again what happened last year was that January in February on YouTube were terrible and then in March April May it picked up I'm hoping that happens again cuz right now it's doing terribly alright YouTube is the worst it's ever been I'm making almost nothing on the videos I'm doing even though my views are good my views on YouTube are good but what I'm making is just abysmal compared to what I used to make on YouTube which is why I need to kind of lean on twitch right now okay so when you guys helped me out with that situation I owe more money to the feds now so that's gonna be coming due and they now expect me to come up with the first payment for 2018 all in one month how on earth they think I'm going to pull this money out of my ass when in reality the months of January in February were some of the worst months for me ever cuz YouTube ad revenue was way way way down to the point where it was the two worst months I've ever had on YouTube um I don't know I guess I'm supposed to become like a go rob a bank to pay the federal government III don't know how it's supposed to work because certainly the money that came in went straight to paying my bills and not say I don't have any money I do you know from the money that you guys helped me raise back in December I do have some money saved up but it's not gonna be nearly enough to pay all three of these things at once which they all expect me to pay all right so if you would like to help me out all right and help all right hello everybody hmm hello hello everyone and welcome welcome back today is Wednesday March 7th 2018 and is my day back yesterday was my day off and now ladies gents I will be here every single day for the next seven days Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday and out of all those days six days will be double stream days folks pretty cool right I hope you guys are excited I'm exciting um and the big wide variety of stuff that you're gonna see me streaming in the next few days as well pretty awesome all right so how you guys doing good to see you back thanks for being here on stream today for my return after my day off um big news big stuff going on for those who aren't aware there was a poll running while I was away oh this poll actually was running since Sunday and we received a record number of votes I'm almost positive almost that in the history that I have used Twitter polling I have never received this many votes before okay so that's really cool what that tells me is that you guys and gals are pretty excited that this is my tenth year being a content creator on the internet and then when it comes to more down time stuff like like for example choose between these you know anniversary playthroughs that I could do a second run in you know for downtime before new games come out um people are pretty pumped you know to see what what I'm gonna do and here was the votes first of all here was the voting that what were the games it was Mass Effect 2 renegade femshep run all right um heavy rain now in this case I found out the heavy rains actually on the ps4 so it's that version um Silent Hill 2 which some people still to this day say is one of the best survival horror playthroughs if not the best one I've ever done um and it certainly last but not least bully scholarship edition uh which I once did run through on xbox360 in this case it would be the more upscaled upgraded version available on Xbox one ok so these were the choices and we had over 1600 votes that's a lot I've never had that many people vote on a Twitter poll before over 1600 people voting the the voting was very close oh my god was it close alright so first off it looked actually looked like Mass Effect was gonna be in the lead then Silent Hill 2 took the lead but then after about a day what we saw was a neck-and-neck battle between heavy rain and bully and these two games went at it man they were first they were like three percent apart then two percent then one percent last night when I was like oh man I'm gonna go to sleep but let me let me get the game for tomorrow they were tied mm-hmm they were friggin tied man that was like now how am I gonna figure out what to play tomorrow if this poll ends in a tie right um so at that point I actually did I downloaded bully on my xbox one and then I downloaded heavy rain on my ps4 did I pay $30 like they're trying to charge hell no I got the Detroit become human digital deluxe edition for 70 bucks would you who's Detroit become human which obviously I'll be playing in May and for 10 more books you get heavy rain so that's how I did that so I got it a little bit on the cheaper side there so I got all this ready mm-hmm for you know the big play through today woke up this morning and heavy rain won by less than 1% it actually won by less than 1% of the vote so what a voting it was I want to say thank you to everyone um who did vote I do appreciate that and you know now we're gonna do exactly as a direct result of what you voted for all right now here's the thing for those who never have played heavy rain themselves and for those who have never watched my original playthrough of heavy rain first of all you are missing out now here's the thing I know there's a lot of people they look at my old stuff you know from 2013 or earlier and they say man you know Phil's got a 10-year legacy of videos on YouTube but he only recorded stuff with a camcorder or a camera back then and the quality was really lame and because of that I don't want to watch any of his old stuff because you know the quality was just not on par with what he does today and I don't want to watch you know bad lighting and bad lighting adjust me and the audio sounds like he's in a cave and I'm not watching it that's a shame cuz I do know I have our viewers who are fan longtime fans but they jumped on you know for the second half of 2013 you know 2014 15 16 17 18 over the last five years they jumped on and became big fans of mine but they never watched the classic stuff because of that what I will tell you guys is this even if you really don't enjoy watching you know kind of more guerrilla style playthroughs with not the best audio or visual quality some of the stuff that I did back in the day is by far the best stuff I've ever done my first heavy rain playthrough listen folks I will never do another playthrough heavy rain that will hold a candle to that first one the reason being when you play heavy rain for the first time it's an incredible unique situation you don't know what's going on it's a murder mystery game so you don't know who the murderer is if there's multiple murderers you don't know who's gonna live and who's gonna die and it's actually based directly off of your choices who lives and who dies in the game so you know at any moment someone could die and then the whole plot changes right it's a really unique game but once you know what's happened in the game you know the plot then obviously playing it again it's not gonna be all the same you know what I mean I'm fully aware that playing heavy rain again now in 2018 is going to be a ridiculously different situation than when I originally played the game all the way back in 2010 back when I had an office job and I would come home for a couple hours a day after work and play this game and then I would film a vlog giving you my thoughts and feelings about hot things that happened that night in the game um very different you know now I've already played I know the plot everyone knows the game forever anything is gonna be pretty funny to see if I succeeded the QuickTime events eight years later um and of course my commentary we'll see how that goes yeah I'll do my best to entertain you guys because this is a game that largely opens itself up to you know reactionary or observational commentary and by the way I'm playing this on the PlayStation 4 so this version of the game supposedly has improved visuals maybe we will actually notice stuff in the environment that we couldn't notice in the first playthrough you know we'll see we'll see how things have changed in eight years okay but I'm excited to come back to the game and in particular this is a perfect opportunity for me to replay heavy rain reason being Detroit become human just got a broad release date May 25th 2018 so with only about two months you know maybe a little over two months here until the release of the next game from Quantic Dream this will be the perfect opportunity for us to get reintroduced to their style of gameplay um and I'm pumped you know I'm pumped for it it's gonna be for me two days of just so relaxing fall and you know there's no pressure it's not a new playthrough or anything um I think it's gonna be a lot of fun for all of us okay now that being said if you noticed I just said something I said two days right okay two days why am I saying two days because guess what heavy rain is a very short game for those of you who are not aware the game if you know what you're doing can be beaten within four hours okay if it's your first run in general and honest run of the game usually takes around seven to seven and a half hours but it's not a long game at all you know being near completely narrative based what the game intends for you to do is play through it once all right and then go back and replay it doing different decisions doing different reactions or trying to do better at the QuickTime events maybe you failed at the first time around trying to get the river trophies in the game that's how the game wasn't meant to be you played a game that it's kind of you replay it several times to see all the different scenarios and outcomes that could possibly happen alright now here's the thing um I've already done that I've already went back when this game was new I'd beat it once legit then I went back I returned to it later and I did the alternate choices and alternate plot lines to see what would happen and I got the majority of the trophies of the game that weren't you know incredibly you know annoying they're time-consuming so that being said I'm only doing one run through the game I'm not gonna be doing multiple runs there's no reason to do that um so really if everything goes according to plan and you know we have no technical difficulties and no issues I first see myself finishing up my heavy rain you know anniversary playthrough probably tomorrow so you know today's Wednesday tomorrow's Thursday I'll probably be done with it by the end of tomorrow's main stream okay mmm so that being said I'm still gonna have Friday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday all those days are basically empty because the next new release that I'm gonna be playing is the remaster of burnout paradise that comes out on the 16th of March the week after that we got sea of thieves and ninokuni - and at the end of the month we got far cry 5 so we've got a significant amount of new content near the end of the month but there's nothing new ones from between now and then um so all that being said I'm not you know what's Phil gonna do after he beats heavy rain well yes well I think what I'm gonna do folks I'm gonna be basically do what I think is right because the voting was so crazy closed off by less than 1% I think once I complete heavy rain I will be starting an anniversary playthrough of bully scholarship edition as well okay now I just want to say this up front okay I just want to say this upfront bully scholarship edition yes I will focus on it for those days when there's nothing new however once new content starts coming out that is gonna take priority and you have to understand that I don't want people to have a misconception that if I'm still playing bully by the time that bird out and then other new games are releasing oh I'm just gonna drop everything and keep playing bully no oh I'm gonna be playing the new games new games always will take priority okay so um that being said yeah that's kind of the plan so today you tomorrow heavy rain oh you know with the intention I'm probably gonna finish it tomorrow and then you know starting on Friday as long as everything goes according to plan bully scholarship edition and that will continue until next week alright so now that we know that now that I've announced this up front all right allow me to explain to you what you can expect every day from now until you know the new games early so today heavy rain on my first stream here four straight hours of Quantic Dream interactive font should be a great stream I hope you guys enjoy it tonight second stream starting around 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time Secret of Mana continuing okay I'm pretty forward to the game at this point I believe I'm roughly half I'm past the halfway point I think I'm almost like say 2/3 in the game but the final end of the game there's a lot of bosses and grinding and stuff so we'll see how that goes but I am getting near the end of the game from what I understand um so tonight another two hours or so Secret of Mana much more laid-back relaxing stream tonight hope you guys will join me for that um tomorrow more heavy rain all right so the tomorrow should be the conclusion of heavy rain on my main stream ok and then tomorrow night doki-doki literature club what on earth some people are like huh well if you want to know why I'm playing that tomorrow night it's because this last Saturday I did an Indies marathon doki-doki literature Club was one of the games picked for the marathon by the patrons however I played it for two and a half hours and didn't get to the interesting part everyone's literally telling me Phil you stopped 15 minutes before the game gets good and I'm like well I played for two and a half straight hours what do you expect right so what I'm gonna do tomorrow night I am gonna take a stream to basically get to the good part of the game and see how I feel now based off of how I feel when we get to the good part of the game which by the way I am completely in the dark I have no idea what the twist is we're gonna find out tomorrow night okay um then I will determine do I want to keep playing this game and finish the playthrough or alright that was the twist that was lame nobody cares I'm not playing this again all right so it all depends it all depends tomorrow night on how things go but I am gonna be doing that tomorrow night you know on purpose because I want to see how things you know how what this twist is after playing for two and a half hours I owe it to myself in my viewers to know what the fuck the twist is in this game all right so then Friday all right Friday will be the premiere of bully's scholarship edition or wrapping up heavy rain and then I'll just switch over to bully scholarship edition one or the other okay and then Friday night will be more Secret of Mana okay so secret Amanda will actually get two sessions this week which is good Saturday will be the return of salty multiplayer Saturdays the main stream on Saturday will be Call of Duty World War two where I will now do a variety you know the last couple times I played I only did team deathmatch this time I'll probably do some Kill Confirmed and definitely some war this time around okay so call duty on the main stream Saturday Saturday night ladies and gentlemen that's right Senate and by the way the Lansky were just turned on his goddamn lawnmower so I'm sure you can hear it sorry Saturday night the return of player unknowns battlegrounds oh yes I know I've not played player in those battlegrounds in a while I've been purposely scaling back on the game so that number one I don't get burnt out on it and number two you guys don't get burnt out on it the last thing I would want is that I play it non-stop and you guys are so fucking bored of the game which I was doing for a while playing it two to three times a week and people were really getting bored of it so now I think I haven't played it in a while and by the way they did patch it again okay hmm they patched it again to change the game again so when I play this on Saturday night we'll see you know how significant these changes are that they've added to the game okay so that's Saturday night then Sunday more bully so then I'll be doing the weekend preview I'll also be doing some patron stuff including IO at least one private Q&A video among maybe others so Sunday only one stream but then Monday I'll return with bully again and then at night probably Monday night maybe Secret of Mana and then we'll play a by ear you know we still got Tuesday Wednesday Thursday of that week and I'll see you know how's things going so I want to make me squeeze in the conclusion of doki-doki literature club more Secret of Mana or maybe more some call of duty or pop G we'll see until the new stuff happens on the 16th I have the flexibility to deal with my schedule however I want you know I can fold in more fit to my own desires um-hmm so there you go let's see what by the end of this month which is very doable considering we're about 75 away from that um and we've got all new stuff yeah funny anniversary stuff new games coming out lots of fun stuff in the next you know three weeks there is definitely doable all right I'll be bringing back the patrons Choice playthrough where you will pick a downtime game for me to play in between new releases previous titles included such games as Super Mario Sunshine Spyro the Dragon persona Yakuza just among a few I mean we've got a very wide variety of downtown games that have been selected in the past but now it's finally time because right now I finished up all the patrons choice stuff I would like to do another one for sure so we hit 500 subs this month that's a lot okay if we buy some crazy stretched chance and by the way I do believe this is a stretch goal by any means we hit 550 subscribers in the month of March alright and I'll be doing a Regis on if you don't know what that means it means I will be playing a marathon of games to cause me rage games that are incredibly difficult like Super Meat Boy or I want to be the guy games that have already been annoying this fuck in the past like Scarface a game that maybe people wanted me to see forever and I know I'm gonna do terrible at that's why I don't wanna bother playing it like Street Fighter 5 all these things are possible ok they're all possible but if you want to see it happen you've got to subscribe and you gotta motivate others to subscribe gotta get 550 subs this by the end of this month ok so those are our sub goals we push if I chose this instead or if this person died at this point what would happen later when that person had shown up in a scene right so I guess we'll find out um I guess we'll see what happens in the game well you know this time around could be pretty interesting to see my reactions eight years later because this game came out in 2010 so eight years later what will i commentate on what will I say in reaction to the things going on at the game right how will I do well I feel the QuickTime events er well I do good enough that I actually you know get the best ending or I don't know I don't know how this is gonna go we're gonna find out well I get some of the scenes I missed for example Thursday apparently a shower scene and a love scene and I know for a fact my first playthrough I completely missed out on I think the shower scene so well I get it I don't know I guess we'll find out I'm pretty excited alright I'm pretty excited to see how this goes I hope you are too alright everyone um sadly I think I'm gonna have to turn it off in fact I should bring this up so as you guys know I just recently replayed and finished grand theft auto san andreas HD on ps4 on the player ran almost 200 parts it was 179 I believe no it 181 I think um and I had the music muted in the car the whole time however during certain cutscenes music played in the background no exaggeration every single one of those cutscenes got claimed every single one got claimed on YouTube so every time a piece of copyright music played at my same andreas playthrough this past two weeks I got clean by it I got made no money on that part um YouTube just doesn't allow any music and videos anymore so yeah it looks like I'm gonna have to mute it or else the whole player would be a complete waste of my time on you you know what I mean again folks let me put it this way in the future moving forward if things keep growing the way they are on Twitch if I keep seeing growth more views every stream more followers every stream the participation with cheers subs and tip stays good if everything can stay and you know if twitch can 100% become the income that I depend on I don't have to worry about oh no my making extra YouTube money or whatever then I won't care and eventually hopefully one day that will be the case and I'll say goodbye YouTube I don't care about any money I make on you anymore and I'll just leave music enable and if I get copyright clinged or whatever I common Aidid over there who gives a shit sadly that is not the part okay it's not the case I don't mean to say the part it's not the case um at all right now I am very heavily dependent still on youtube income in fact I'd say probably YouTube's income is roughly one third of my income every month while twitch is probably about two-thirds um and then I get a little bit you know right now patreon isn't really huge anymore but I get some from patreon and maybe a few bucks from teespring but right now with YouTube being still just a large chunk of my income there's no way that I could just ignore the fact that an entire playthrough would I make no money I can't do that alright um hmm so it is what it is um yeah that's how what I'm gonna do I'm if I do play burnout paradise which I'm planning on doing it looks like I'm gonna have to mute the music sorry guys alright Charlotte to Mackenzie in a lion who cheered and said the first time I saw your videos was fallout 3 the Pitt DLC when was bugged amazing who stuck adding I can't wait for more I remember that because I played the pit DLC as soon as it released on launch night which was like no lie probably got 2 a.m. Eastern Time and when I loaded it it was completely glitched certain areas would not load at all you had big error messages and exclamation points on the walls you basically could play the first third of it but when you finally got to Pittsburgh which is where the main area is for the DLC the whole game would crash and you couldn't progress that was that was pretty bad but in Bethesda defence you know when they had all other DLCs they were much better this was like the first real attempt of Bethesda to have on the fly you know DLCs add them to a game like that and yeah it failed but they did learn from their mistakes they did improve from their mistakes which is also the good things it wasn't like this was something they did over and over know the rest of the DLCs that they have to Fallout 3 were outstanding and they worked right off the bat so there you go that way I remember that but thank you for your long time support McKenzie Zhu Baca cheered and says since you're doing a read-a-thon but you played blood-borne again since you raised against Ludwig normally you would say oh that would make sense but I'm already as I've said a million times I have no idea how you haven't heard this yet I'm already planning on doing a full Redemption run playthrough of blood-borne this summer that playthrough will include the fact that number one I will not grind whatsoever in the game like I did the first time I played it and number two I will be doing the old hunters dlc during the course of the campaign of the game so I'm gonna be doing two drastically different things for my first playthrough and that is happening this summer so no if we do hit a 550 subs goal and a rages on is to take place let's say roughly April or May you know four hours of gameplay on my first stream usually two to three hours on my second stream plus you know there's pre streams and upload videos and then outside of that I'm spending time with my girl haven't live in life man I don't sighs as I've told you guys many times before I don't sit around on YouTube watching other youtubers I don't sit around on YouTube flagging videos I don't watch other streamers on Twitch and flag their stream I don't do any of that shit I never have and I never will I have a life my free time outside of what I'm live-streaming on things that are video games or live-streaming on purpose because I don't want my entire life to become inundated with so much of this shit okay that I don't like doing it anymore can you imagine if my whole I wake up in the morning games games twitter twitter games games YouTube YouTube twitch twitch games games then I go and I stream for five hours then in between games streaming games games streaming streaming games streaming drama drama drama hey hey YouTube you to twitch twitch and then I get back and I scream for two more hours and then after that before I go to sleep it's twitch twitch YouTube you do drama drama hate hate games games TV streaming I would lose my mind I need a disconnect so when I'm not live-streaming or uploading videos I literally am not paying attention to anything I don't know what videos people make about me I don't care I don't watch can you imagine if I watched every negative video ever made about me I would never have time to fucking do any any Content on my own cuz there's so many of these new Knicks who literally out there all they do is focus on hating on me cuz it gets them attention so no I have no idea what's going on with anyone on YouTube I don't care all I know is I'm here to do my own positive thing that's it I don't I don't focus on the negative and I don't you know I don't dwell on it I'm not gonna sit here and I'm not gonna make a response video to some subscribers alright so now you might say oh some of those re subs you're right and some of them are probably new but then my overall subs go down by 20 or 30 that same day and I hate to say this there was no day in February I know because I was paying attention there was not a single day in the month of February where I got 60 subscribers it didn't happen all right there was no big events in February February was a month when I had a lot of time off because my girlfriend moved in there was no days in February where I had 50 to 60 subs in one day just didn't happen so how is it that I can get 30 subs in one day now but then still lose 20 overall it doesn't make any sense that logically just doing math it doesn't make sense and I really do feel there's been something going on with twitch where people are either unsub against their will like their subbed and they're supposed to be Auto renewed or whatever and it's kicking them out or something's just going on with the cow because I don't understand how that could be how that could be possible um you know it doesn't make any sense to me again it would have been one thing in the month of January there were some days when I had a huge amount of subscribers in one day that is true there were days when there were two or three people who would come in and they were actually gifting subs left and right to people okay then I understand okay but I don't understand I'm usually the month of February where things were slow right there were no new games really and there was no events or anything going on it was all you know how can you tell me that I had 50 to 60 new subs in one day when I never saw that in February bullshit it's bullshit as they like to say a bullshit okay shout out to pissing demon who just reached up really playing this game is because heavy rain is synonymous with the great and great playthroughs that I've done over the years if you actually take a look at the playthroughs that people hold in high regard and say man this is a playthrough that's outstanding he probably you know of this game Phil probably has one of if not the best playthrough on the Internet um heavy rain is definitely one of those and a lot of people first saw myself and my contact on YouTube through heavy rains playthrough so that's why I'm redoing heavy rain beyond two souls did I like the game yes did I enjoy playing it absolutely do I want to do a second playthrough of it now not really um it was a good game but it certainly wasn't for me you know what I mean it wasn't like oh that's one of the greatest playthroughs I've ever done or anything like that um plus you know it's okay to do heavy rain which is pretty short like I said it's under 8 hours long um so it'll be a fun one for a couple days I don't want to have a Quantic Dream week where all I'm doing is playing Quantic Dream games that'll burn people out especially with Detroit become human coming out in two months the last thing you want is to get someone burnt out on a certain style of game before a new style of game a new game in that style comes out that would be counterproductive alright so no I do not have any plans to play it beyond 2 souls a second time even though it was a good game there you go alright um anything else she's all I think now I may have covered everything we got all the shout outs again thanks to those is Monday March 5th 2018 ladies and gentlemen today is a incredibly eventful momentous day there's a million things going on that I want to talk about on pre stream all new fun interesting stuff and some stuff I want to ask you guys about to get some more info um so let's get started because this pre stream is going to be chock full of fun stuff to talk about I think you guys will really like it so without further ado welcome to the pre stream folks first of all the first thing I'd like to talk about since many of you are seeing it on your screens right now if you are watching this stream on for example a PC you may be noticing that there is a new twitch extension that I am testing today okay you may see something on your screen that's like a blue symbol that says something either about twitch prime or availability of free loop or something of the sort okay um what that is if you're wondering you like what the hell I never seen that before um it is a extension that I installed on my twitch channel last night and what that extension is supposedly supposed to do for you guys the viewers is basically do a service for you number one it's supposed to tell you if you are a twitch prime or subscriber and if you have a twitch Prime subscription available like for example if it expired if you had a 30 day subscription to someone and expired and now you have the ability to give that prime sub to somebody else it should tell you that so that you basically are aware because sometimes people don't realize when those expire I'm one of them like last night um I went on Tolos stream Tolomeo he was playing Metal Gear Solid revengeance and as I just tuned in quickly to see what he was doing I'd say I realized I'm not sold to this guy anymore Oh Mike might put my pitch twitch prime sub had expired so I reached up to him but I was like man you know it would be nice if I'd known when it expired right and there's no way to know so apparently oh yes this uh this pop-up this message this this whatever this is this extension is supposed to tell you when that happens okay so it's like a service to you now also it's supposed to tell you when you have a loop available for example there's certain games that if you're a twitch subscriber or a twitch viewer you can get free lieu I guess for certain games I don't actually know how it works quite honestly um but anyway this is a brand new thing I enabled this as a service to you guys if you think that it's annoying or it's not working like if I get feedback saying this sucks don't do it anymore I can easily disable it but I wanted to turn it on as a service and to you to help you guys out and let me know you know how it works and if you like it or not Oh so that's number one number two ladies the gentlemen as you can see on the screen right now I have a new line of merchandise live on my teespring shop right now and it is great stuff okay we've got many new logos for example there is a red dead DSP spoof logo if you guys remember the old artwork for Red Dead Redemption right it had John Marston holding a gun and now we have a spoof kind of logo of that of me holding a controller and it says DSP gaming in addition to that we've also got a new DSP sonic logo it's the logo from the title screen of Sonic the Hedgehog games but it's me instead of Sonic okay in addition to that we've got a new zombie killer aa design where it's basically me versus a horde of zombies okay basically these designs are really good check them out all right definitely check them out um and if Y I see someone in this room chat talking shit about teespring I don't know why mister dead lifter says that teespring quality is garbage oh that's not true teespring quality is dependent on the quality that the person who makes the shirt picks cuz there's three different qualities or shirts that they sell and it sounds to me like maybe you know someone who was selling shirts on teespring that were the lowest quality Hanes shirts I don't do that I pick the good-quality shirts that are more of a stretchy material they're much better they fit better and they're higher quality material alright so I make less money of stuff that I sell on teespring because I pick a higher quality material shirt FYI just so you guys know um but anyway give it a look and uh you know good quality stuff good quality shirts new designs now I want to say special thank you to two people first of all it was insomnia attic meet who designed the zombie hunter design and it was a sure studios who designed the Red Dead DSP as well as the Sonic kind of spoof logo Keala designs these are pretty damned awesome um I have to admit like I personally put these shirts up last night I want them but I don't necessarily have money to splurge on them right now plus it's not exactly t-shirt season here in Washington so maybe later in the year I'll pick them up for myself to wear on stream um but anyway that being say um very nice designs and I want to say special shout out thank you to those guys for designing these for me by the way it's not just t-shirts I also hoodies women's shirts mugs and stickers all in these new designs and in in addition to what you see here on this promo running on the pre stream there's another color for the red dead DSP it's also like a yellowish orange in the in the logo color and for the sonic design you can get that in many different colors of sure it's not just the blue shirt you can get like a black you can get her I think the red there's different designs you can do that look really good okay yeah so that being said um that being said hopefully you guys will check out my teespring shop since I'm doing the plug now I don't have to do it later but anything you buy for my teespring shop I get a pretty pops Accola has designed the best animation I've ever had here on the stream I'm not kidding now you might say well I didn't see it yet what is it it's four tips and you will see this animation if someone tips me five dollars or more um moving forward this is the best animation ever it's actually a hybrid of what I had suggested he would make and he did it and it blew me away when I saw I laughed my fucking ass off it's so good it's it's so freakin good and folks content I mean I'm not gonna you know beat around the bush here right now with my impending taxes coming up in April any the gravy train rolled as long as it could and you guys were throwing me money left and right for my sexy body but sadly as of today I can't do it anymore I can't I can't I'm gonna get banned if I god unbelievable but anyway in all seriousness there are new twitch terms of service that are going live today and the major changes are number one you have to actually dress appropriately as if you were at work anywhere else so that means sadly all of those streamers who will remain nameless but who like to wear skimpy clothing to get money from horny people are not gonna be able to do that anymore supposedly that's over as of today and I believe that today will be the day when many desperate people will be actually attempting to play video games properly for the first time on Twitch to pay their bills because they never did it before that's number one number two you know a lot of people are gonna have to be paying attention um you know we're gonna have to be paying attention to what the Terms of Service say in regards to things like hate speech and stuff you know again for me not a concern this is that stuff that I do you know that's not the kind of stuff that I want on my streams to begin with it's not stuff I want in my content but there are some people out there who'd like to be controversial and they'd like to just swear constantly on purpose to be overdramatic and or to try to get attention you know over-the-top angry kind of behavior and apparently they're not gonna allow that anymore um on Twitch so I guess we'll see what happens um you know it really it's not about what's in the new rules it's about how they're enforced right so if there's all these new rules and no one enforces them you know what I mean then what's the point on the flip side of that if there's all these new rules and now it's like a super lockdown where everyone gets in trouble for like the super this little thing that could also be really bad so I guess we're all gonna have to see first hand uh you know how does this actually turn out in reality you know is this a good thing for twitch is this a bad thing for twitch how will it affect twitch streamers moving forward we're all gonna find out together but what I can tell you is this I I can certainly believe that today will probably be a day when twitch will receive a record number of reports of twitch misbehavior of you oh this did you hear the first is a report report report I don't even know how they're gonna do their jobs quite frankly like they're gonna be so inundated with excessive reports now because these new Terms of Service I could just imagine so um all right also another thing to talk about if you guys are not aware last night I launched a poll on my Twitter this poll is to determine what game I will be playing on Wednesday since today I am wrapping up my grand theft auto san andreas play through on this stream oh we need a new game right we need a new game to play between this Wednesday and Friday of next week which is the 16th of March when I'll be starting Burnout Paradise is remaster so you know you got about a week to a week and a half there what am I gonna play well people are voting adamantly all right adamantly of what they want to see the games that are in contention are I are Mass Effect 2 renegade femshep run that's number 1 heavy rain number 2 Silent Hill 2 number 3 and bully number 4 the voting was hot and contentious overnight in fact at one point Silent Hill was winning then bully was winning and as of now that I've checked it looks like actually heavy rain is currently in the lead by 3 percent only 3 percent and over a thousand people have voted on the poll that's the most votes I think I've ever gotten on a Twitter poll and the polls not even 24 hours old ok so yes I will be reposting this poll um on my Twitter periodically like I'll probably post it again later today and you know probably tomorrow as well when I'm off so that people can see the poll didn't refresh yet for the month I'm not sure exactly what day ah it does refresh well I am gonna be taking advantage of that I am gonna be getting blood-borne as the free for PS Plus game this month because I'm gonna be playing blood-borne again during the summer I already own the old Hunter's DLC I just don't own the game digitally so I'm gonna be getting that off PS plus it's just not available yet I know I think it unlocks sometime this week oh so I'm gonna keep my eyes open for that okay I just got an anonymous dollar tip and they said you have to preorder the digital deluxe version of see what I'll be playing all right so let's now review quickly folks um the schedule for this week so you guys know what to expect today right now the conclusion of grand theft auto san andreas HD the playthrough I've been doing for about two weeks it's been a lot of fun I hope you guys have enjoyed it I really have enjoyed the game a lot more now that I took the opportunity to play at my own pace to do a lot of the side content and missions that I didn't do the first time around and quite frankly replaying the game with no input delay made it dramatically easier than my first run remember I watched problems I had with the flying everything in my first run I pretty much had no problems with it whatsoever in this run so we because all the controls are not delayed in this version so it's been a much more positive fun experience and now I kind of understand why so many people hold this game up in high regard say it's my favorite GTA or I feel it's the best GTA game it makes sense to me now I like it too okay so we're going to conclude this today on stream there's only like four missions left if I finish early I'll be switching over to Call of Duty World War 2 and later tonight as well my second stream will be Call of Duty World War 2 why because I played this game two times over the last week and I'm whooping major but I am getting to the top of the leaderboards I'm getting kill streaks I'm doing really well and people are very much enjoying my Call of Duty World War 2 gameplay um it seems like just switching the weapons from the bar to the evidence at the STG or whatever has completely changed the game for me and now I am completely woman ass and it's a lot I get hype and I get excited people get excited on the stream to watch you know it becomes a really fun experience and it's been a while since I've actually gotten excited for for you know multiplayer like this before I'm actually really pumped to play Call of Duty today I can't wait to play more of it so I hope you guys will be here for that that's gonna be a lot of fun too okay but tomorrow Tuesday I am off and I know that's not the norm normally I'm here on Tuesday I'm off on Tuesday for a rare occurrence I'm running errands I'm doing grocery shopping etc I'm also getting my hair cut thank God I've not had a haircut in over three months and my hair is long over grown and is bothering me year of 2017 reason being because in 2017 I actually saw an increase in income which is a rarity for me it's actually the first time in like five years that I've actually seen an increase in income alright um and because that I owe more taxes than were estimated so I'm gonna go back to access I don't know what they are yet my accountant is currently working on that so that's gonna be doing April number two I'm gonna owe my first yearly federal tax payment and I don't know what that is for 2018 because guess what there's a new tax code that was just passed this year in January and no one knows what this new tax code is gonna amount to it's gonna be more than I used to pay is it less than I used to pay nobody knows but that's coming up in April as well and then the thing that's the kicker and the real son of a bitch um because my previous tax attorney from Connecticut screwed me over for three straight years and did Mike rataxes incorrectly I now owe back taxes for to the state of Washington for two and a half years I don't know how much I owe I don't know if they're gonna put me on a payment plan so I can afford it but those also were supposed to come due in April so you're talking three huge tax you know bills then I'm gonna be slammed with in April I have some money for them but I know for a fact I don't have enough all right now what happens if I don't pay well what happens is then there's fees there's interest and it just keeps accruing and getting worse and the bottom line is folks I've worked my butt off for the over these years ten years straight that I've been a content creator on the internet for you guys I don't want to lose my house I don't wanna have to sell this house to pay these taxes because of one stupid tax attorney that literally got me into this situation I really don't but that's kind of the reality I'm facing right now how can you help well it's very simple you can either pledge to my patreon which I already mentioned because that I think had too many versions and listen I know that that's a little bit hypocritical considering my favorite game ever Super Street Fighter 2 turbo which was the fifth version of Street Fighter 2 um but in the modern era I don't really think we need as many versions um alpha modern fighter like we had was few Fighter 4 but overall over the years I really did like the game vanilla Street Fighter 4 was kind of unbalanced then it became more balanced over time different characters had their time in the limelight you had oddball characters like Dan and Hawke on that you know you would throw in there and over the years they add a new Ollie with new characters like jury or whatever it ended up being a pretty solid game by the end although some characters really never stood a chance at torna me um I did really like Street Fighter 4 um however the game is dead like no one plays this game anymore they don't hold tournaments for it it's completely done which is crazy when you think about it because they still hold tournaments for games like Street Fighter 3 but they don't hold tournaments for Street Fighter 4 um I guess which three fighter 5 came out everyone just threw the game away I don't know why I honestly think few Fighter 4 is a far better game than Street Fighter 5 but it is what it is I guess um if I were to try to play Street Fighter 4 online right now they're probably no-one playing or like so few people it wouldn't even be worth it so no honestly I don't actively have any plans to go back to shoot Fighter 4 even though I do like the game a lot check Spartacus did first released okay the game did well you know everyone was buying it playing and there's a lot of really unique game and only used the ps3 controller then Sony launched the PS Move which was the combination of their PS I for the PlayStation 3 and those two stupid dildo looking controllers I'm not gonna sugarcoat it did look like dildos alright it looks like like vibrators um and there's two glowing balls and no one was buying them they weren't very popular the games that used them were selling you know I played a few of them like TV superstars and stuff like that that obviously these weren't the best quality games anyway so no one was using these motion controllers or buying them so Sony in a desperate move started demanding that certain game studios make their games compatible with the PS Move and one of those studios was Quantic Dream now Quantic Dream had designed a DLC for heavy rain started Madison and she went off to try to investigate the origami killer ended up running into a completely different crazy-ass killer it's one of the it's one of the best DLCs I've ever played in my life it's really good and I very much enjoyed playing this DLC okay um so after this DLC released everyone was looking forward two new DLCs for heavy rain we were like man I can't wait for you know this to this to happen you know what's get let's get a DLC for every character right imagine a a Norman Jayden DLC where he's trippin balls on the drugs or whatever and he's seen all kinds of crazy stuff it could be pretty awesome right um but what happened was Sony went to Quantic Dream the game developer and said we demand that you make a version of this game that works with PS Move and Quantic Dream literally has been documented went to Sony and said well number one we don't even think this makes sense because our games already out it's not like we're launching a new game with these controls so it doesn't really make sense if we do this and number two you know we don't have a big dev team so if you're asking us to do this we have to drop development on all the future DLCs we're planning to do for heavy rain and we're just going to work on your motion control compatible version instead since this is what you want so is this really what you want and Sony actually said yes this is what we want drop everything don't make any more quality DLCs instead just make a voter control version of heavy rain so they did and guess what no one bought it and it was a complete waste of time so no I don't have any plans to go back and you know if I'm gonna replay heavy rain this week it ends up winning the poll no I'm not using this stupid motion controls I'd much rather just use a standard control scheme okay so there you go shout-out to shady sands 89 who okay what is up everybody hello hello welcome what is up hello hmm good morning I guess I should say good afternoon for many of you it's gonna be afternoon for me in just a couple of minutes here will come to my full day of streaming I am back after a day away my day off for the week as you know um so FYI first of all today is going to be a full day of streaming I'm going to be doing double streams today two different games should be pretty fun and I'll go through the schedule shortly but today also is the first of eight straight days of streaming which is actually a rarity for me typically you know it's usually around six sometimes a little more sometimes a little less depending on when I think my day off but this week will be eight straight days of streaming and these eight days are going to be jam-packed with new things for you guys new content new games you know a lot of people have been very much looking forward to new stuff and a lot of people have said Phil why aren't you playing new games to which I kind of respond there's another thing there's nothing going on what do you want me to do you know it hasn't been a major new releases since January quite frankly um if you actually look at all the game releases that have come out pretty much totally minor games here and there um not too much in the realm of like a big triple-a you know much in demand game which stinks because typically in the early of the year there is you know sometimes in January there's not much sometimes there is but typically like February March we usually start getting bigger releases um and so far it has been a pretty good I mean let's be realistic here the biggest releases of this year so far were monster hunter world right and then Dragon Ball fighters and everything since then is either been re-release a remake a rehash or a sequel in the long stay running series that wasn't necessarily so original or you know it really just has not been that much going on in the realm of video games recently so I understand if maybe you are a fan of mine but you've been disappointed at the past few weeks there hasn't been you know anything too great in regards to you know new games for me to play people when I am at my hottest when I am at my the height of my popularity it's usually when there's a brand new game or games coming out people are excited to line up to see me cover the new game on release day to give it my own unique commentary style my own unique spin all people love that right not to say that people don't like when I play retro games or the like but it certainly is a much smaller more dedicated group of viewers who watch me basically play no matter what I play versus the people who just like to come by and watch me play the mainstream stuff right so I certainly ah understand I certainly understand why there may be some disappointment and or why there may be some people who feel like things have been stagnating alright so here's the good news let's cover what the schedule of what I'll be covering for the next week so you guys know exactly what to expect alright here we go number one today right now this stream is the conclusion of my bully scholarship edition play through my second playthrough ever of the game the first one was way back when in 2013 um this time around number one the pleaser was fully direct capture which is always nice rather than being half of one good you know capture or recording style and half of another well number two well I'm doing a lot more side content if you guys haven't noticed I've already got a couple achievements that I didn't get during the first playthrough and I'm actively trying to get all the achievements if at all I can in the game there's a few that I don't know if I'll be able to UM you know do a hundred bunny hops or not bunny hop excuse me a hundred realese well on the bike I'm trying you know writing a certain length of writing on the bike I'm trying you know I'm trying to get these but they're gonna be pretty tough in order to get them all today for the conclusion of the game um the bottom line is if I just sit here and I just play the story of the game today I'll probably be done within two hours all right so I'm gonna try to mix it up and try to get some more achievements inside content mixed in today to get a full four plus our game play stream out of the conclusion of bully alright but today of you know officially will be the final session of bully scholarship edition we're moving on after today all right mmm-hmm number two tonight I'll be playing call of duty or two okay um there yell and it should be fun you know every time I play this game it's been a lot of fly I've been doing a way better in the game uh this last couple of weeks that I've been playing it than ever before ever since I changed my weapon up Oh today so anyway yeah I wasn't I changed my weapon up I've been tearing it up now it's whoo term is sometimes connections are terrible or I just get a bad match or the spawns are bad but in general you know be MVP of my team all the time and being top of the leaderboards it's pretty fun it's been way more fun to play a multiplayer game um in regard to Call of Duty than it has in a long time okay so we'll have some more of that fun later tonight tomorrow folks Friday it is time for a new game finally I know I know guys I'm going to be playing the burnout a paradise remaster it's being released for modern consoles I'll be playing on the ps4 in particular I've never played burnout paradise alright this is a game that apparently a lot of people kind of hold up in high regard um so a driving game I know I haven't played I don't know how much of a grind it is I don't know how much fun it is we'll find out I mean let me put it this way I can't imagine this game is worse than Need for Speed payback how could it be you know seriously how could it be it's Burton universe PD payback was so bad so poorly designed I can't imagine that burnout paradise was a worst game I mean that's gotta be that would be a huge huge achievement all right I guess we'll find out so we're starting that tomorrow tomorrow it's not completing all day it's gonna be a fun new day of a game that I never experienced before then on Saturday it'll be burnout paradise and Pope gee yes I will be doing a pop G session Saturday night and essentially that will be the final Club G session for quite some time you're gonna understand why in just a moment as I continue to go through the schedule all right well Sunday nearest almost a need for speed oh my god burnout paradise on Sunday Monday burnout paradise and call of duty and that hopefully after playing it you know all day Friday Saturday Sunday Monday Olive beaten burnout paradise we'll see but you know I'm thinking you know essentially six to seven hours of game play on Friday 4:00 on Saturday for on Sunday 4:00 on Monday right 20 hours I'm thinking I love beating the game um and then Tuesday which would be Tuesday xx we've got the release of sea of thieves which I will be playing on the Xbox one I will be doing co-op with viewers I've already gotten about a dozen viewers who are interested in lining up to play co-op with me on launch week if you were interested in playing sea of Thieves co-op with me all right what you need to do you need to go to the king of heat comm forums and you need to post up there is a thread there in the gaming section for co-op with DSP in a sea of thieves people have already posted up I'm excited to get people in there okay hmm that should be a lot of fun oh so that's starting Tuesday and then Tuesday night I'm gonna be starting up the South Park the fractured buttholes first major story expansion is about Casa Bonita so I'm gonna pair off those games you know see if thieves during the day South Park at night should be a fun week of you know double new contact and then that Friday Friday the 23rd of March is my next day off so that's why I say eight straight days of streaming you know you've got to go Cruiser to bully today burnout paradise for four straight days and then sea of seas and we've got in South Park so that's lot of new stuff okay coming out in the next stop you know week so I'm excited I hope you guys are excited too um and then when I come back from my day off on the 24th of March which is a Saturday I'll be starting up ninokuni too so we've got a lot of new content a lot of new enough fun stuff and then of course there's more stuff at the end of the month too with far cry 5 and the final episode of Batman so here we go new stuff new stuff new stuff new stuff for you guys back to back hopefully this will reinvigorate many of you who maybe have been away for a while and had not watching the streams because you just don't care about there's more old-school playthroughs and downtime stuff alright all righty then okay folks um let's see I'm trying to think do we have anything new that I want to address anything to bring up now in particular not really yesterday was a good day off for me I got a lot done but it was a very busy day we're not what I'm finding alright what I'm finding is that in particularly the days off that I get to spend with cat my girlfriend we all have a lot of fun and we usually get a lot done alright but because it's the one day off a week that we get together all day we pretty much try to put as much we try to wrap as much fun stuff into the day as possible and then we end up being so tired by the time we get home like yesterday we went to two completely different regions we were we were over here doing one thing looking for one thing for that for stuff around the house and then we wanted to go to a different place so we drove out there and we basically spent a lot of time on the road but also you know heating up different places looking around for stuff and then we had a nice dinner together at a place we've never been to before which was nice I never been there she had never been there and we went there and really enjoyed it and then on the way home we went grocery shopping we get home now we got to bring all these bags of groceries and some into the house we unload all the bags next thing you know we're like we're snoozing man like we're ready to sleep and it's only like 10:00 p.m. and we're like we're out we're like god we're so tired um that's kind of what happens is you know when you when you only get one day off a week you try to jam absolutely jam into one day as much as you possibly can all right now here's the thing I really I'm happy just to have the one day off if you guys aren't aware last year for most of the year from like you know May excuse me from May through shit da entirety the air until it wasn't until February really oh this year did I even had time oh I was streaming every single freaking day for you guys and you know was that good was that positive was did that help me to build my streaming presence here on Twitch of course it was great but at the same time you know it burns me out man it burns me how it tires me out my throat in particular you know never really healed mmm because every day I was here at least four hours it's not you know eight hours talking talking talking streaming talking um I think eventually I am gonna have to take a string of days off uh you know for my own health where it'll be me away from streaming and maybe it'll be during more of a down time thing where there's not a lot of games or whatever going on that can maybe recuperate or whatever you know that would certainly be nice but for now this is not the time nor the place as you guys know um because with all the new releases now coming out and now things I hopefully you're gonna pick up so you knows I feel you know your throat doesn't sound great today or they say Phil you sound tired today I'm listening I mean it's true but you know I make do I make do with what I got the best I can I try to stay positive and you know kind of keep pushing forward I enjoy these streams very much as you guys know you know it's very different from when I used to oh man I gotta go to work and play games today I got to put out these videos for YouTube and blah blah it's words it's different now I do love the more interactivity that we guys how are you guys okay and I have a lot of fun it's very what's the deal with Phil right now it is currently the 15th of March if you guys are not aware one a month from today alright April 15 no exaggeration there's going to be a large amount of money that I'm going to owe for taxes um it's going to be three pieces number one two and a half years of back taxes that I owe that I didn't pay cuz I didn't know I ever owed them because my previous tax attorney completely screwed overand didn't do his job despite the fact I paid him thousands of dollars to do the right job over the years he sucked hmm therefore I now owe thousands of dollars of back taxes all right it sucks I you know I'm gonna have to start paying it back in April number two I've got whatever the remainder but my federal tax payment is going to be for the year of 2017 the thing is if I didn't have to pay those state taxes I wouldn't owe any additional I would have paid it all and been okay but because I had a spike in income at the end of the year because you guys helped me out to pay a big lump sum of taxes for the state that was due in January my overall income went up for the year which then made this new giant lump sum that's due in April that sucks all right now the good news is hmm I have money saved up some of it in excess from December when people were very very supportive of me and some of it that I made over the the months of December and January on Twitch where it was the best twitch months I ever had no lie they were incredibly good and so I have a little bit of extra money saved up for this so it's not so bad but the problem really is not only am I gonna owe the back taxes for the state and then the back taxes here for the remainder of 2017 federal then the federal government expects me immediately to come up with more money to pay my first estimated tax payment for 2018 now what this is is based off of my income last year whatever the new tax payment is for this year I don't know what it's gonna be I have no idea because it's based off of a new tax code that was just passed in January and my new tax attorney slash accountant is working on this right now to tell me exactly what do I owe so it sucks cuz I wish I could tell you guys right now well looks like I owe this and I have this so I'm really you know this much in the in the hole and I could really use your help I can't do that until they finish and they are working on it I did send them they asked me for additional info over the weekend I sent it to them on Monday I'm expecting that within the next week or two they'll be finishing that up and letting me know the problem is time is running out all right time is really running out we've only got a month left for me to raise as much I can to help out with this tax situation alright now that being said the best way that because every two to three months I owe another estimated federal tax payment until the end of the year when finally in December is the final one but then of course in January I'm then gonna owe whatever I owe from my state taxes so see what I mean it's keeps going if I if I end up behind on taxes now all its gonna do is create a worse and worse snowballing situation which is why I'm trying to not be in this situation you know that's why I'm bringing it up all right worst case scenario I get so behind on taxes there's and I can't pay them there's nothing I could do you know where's the money gonna come from I'm gonna have to sell my house and move which I don't want to do I just don't I don't want to do I've worked ten years to get to where I am and even though there's been ups and downs or whatever as of last year I was fine I was making enough money via you know the streaming and everything to pay all my bills I was in a good position and then all of a sudden this rearing tax issue that I didn't know about these back taxes for the state came out of nowhere because of an irresponsible tax attorney and fucked me I'm sorry guys it would be one thing if like my business was tanking no one was showing up to stream you know what I mean it's the opposite my streams are overall getting more viewers on average than they have all my followers are up everything's positive and good so I don't want to say oh now it's time to throw in the towel and sell my house and give up on everything because of some asshole right it's the opposite I think that I can get through this I way mmm well folks this is actually a pertinent question and I'll tell you guys why alright and maybe you may be surprised at the answer because you guys don't aren't aware of what actually happens behind the scenes here on Twitch alright so here you go here's what happens when I stream on Twitch I'm able to do whatever I want if I want to leave music on in a game I can leave music on in a game right during the live stream you pretty much get away with whatever you want however if you leave an archive active on Twitch it's not the same alright and also it's not the same if you upload videos to use you alright for example if I stream your on Twitch and I record and then I upload the videos to youtube typically what ends up happening if there's copy written music in a gameplay video it'll get flagged for Content ID on YouTube and one of two things happens alright either either number one the videos ad revenue gets cleaned by a third-party claim it and therefore I make no money on that video whatsoever that's number one or number two the video gets muted that's like the worst if someone can't even hear the audio of a gameplay video I made that's terrible that's happened over the years with a lot of players in particular my Greg does auto play through my classics like my original san andreas Ron my original where does auto three or Vice City runs we're pretty much ruined on YouTube because of a ton of videos getting muted all right mm-hmm in general it just sounds like shit when it's either no muted or sometimes it does this weird thing where it tries to remove this song and it sounds like I'm playing a video game inside of a closet or a tin can okay it's pretty shitty in that regard um I have no control over it that's just YouTube's system so there's really no point in recording and uploading to youtube if I'm gonna include the copyrighted music cuz either I make no money on it or you can't even hear it alright so that's number one number two so people say well Phil if you're gonna do a playthrough that has copyrighted music in it then just or licensed tracks for that matter oh just don't upload it to youtube instead leave the archives here live on Twitch you should just do that instead alright mm-hm because people are under this really weird impression that twitch is somehow immune to all copyright music issues which they very much are not if you guys aren't aware which you probably aren't because I don't do this well for people who leave streams archived as viewable on their pages on Twitch if a stream has copy written or licensed music in it within 24 hours of that stream going live it gets muted okay it does and in particular there was actually a mistake that I made all right I screwed up um I screwed up in regards to this what happened is I did not delete the archive of my bully stream from Tuesday when I when I play bully uh okay when I play bully on Tuesday I accidentally did not delete the archive and so I use this warning was you know setting up today's bullies stream and I looked those like oh crap I left the archive up I got to get rid of that but it didn't even matter cuz guess what the stream archive from Tuesday had been muted anyway it had been muted anyway automatically by twitch it detected that there was you know copy written music in the video is from bullying and it muted now what I've sinned on YouTube is that when I play bully only about two songs in the entire game are flagged for Content ID and therefore only an entire playthrough a bully that I've done this past week maybe four videos got Content ID claim now the game is sixty parts and growing so four parts out of sixty ain't so bad you know what I mean but if I put a whole stream archive up on Twitch and every day the entire stream archive was being muted because it had copyrighted music see what I mean so there's been a lot of suggestions of people saying oh Phil uh you know stop uploading to YouTube entirely right and just upload to twitch and leave your archives up because twitch archives are good wrong they're not they're actually just as bad as YouTube they get muted automatically and so it's actually a good thing that I don't do that cuz right now like I said all of Tuesday's bully gameplay would have been completely muted if I relied on twitch archives rather than uploading videos to youtube so it's a good thing that I diversify the way that I did okay now that being said burnout paradise everyone saying has an outstanding soundtrack you know you'll really enjoy it yeah I can't guys again just like Need for Speed payback just like all these games any licensed music I have to get rid of I can't do it I can't I can't have it so that only people who are here live during the stream get the whole thing and everyone else loses to a muted video I can't do it guys so you know I apologize um but yeah I'm just gonna have to have the soundtrack turned off there's not much I could do about it alright apologies again but you have an issue with it you know don't blame the streamer don't blame the game ergo blame youtube or blame twitch or go blame copyright law for being so stupidly convoluted that these idiots actually think that even though they've already been paid a license fee for me to play the game that somehow they're owed extra money if I broadcast my gameplay of that game which is false it's false because it's an interactive medium but I'm not gonna get into it it's never been hashed out in court I've talked to till I was blue in the face over the years about how video games are very different from say a movie or just playing a song and that these companies and by the way it's not the artists who have the problem I should make this abundantly clear - I doubt there's been a single musician ever who said man I want extra money because my my song was in a video game I already got paid for that but now someone's broadcasting that game on Twitch or someone's playing that game on YouTube I want more money on top of the money that I already made because it's being played during gameplay I don't think there's been a single musician in the history of the world that said that it's all the bigwig fucking middlemen production companies the licensing companies basically the guys that don't fucking do anything the money suckers the leeches those are the guys that have the big issue and want to make the big bucks off of all this shit so it's really annoying and you know it sucks for us as a gaming culture that we have to go through this shit because we really are part of an emerging burgeoning culture it's tough really the past I say 10 years have been when gaming has gone a majorly mainstream and now we have to deal with all the repercussions of now being part of big business wrestling skill wise as an athlete I would actually say Roderick Strong but if you're talking the total package if you're talking a cool character who has charisma flashy moves and also is a good entering performer I would actually say alistair black um although I would also say you know the current NXT champion Andrade seeing almost also has a very very high talent level and is quite flashy the problem is in my opinion his character is an NXT who he's portrayed have been really shitty like they didn't give him good gimmicks ever even his current gimmick now is kind of lame I think that he could have done a lot better if they gave him something better to work with because in ring work is there and I get the feeling he actually could be a good charismatic heel but they never gave him that opportunity so oh yeah there you go I think overall alistair black but if you're talking in ring definitely well I agree with Roderick Strong okay so shout out to critical for days who just to God of War obviously is finally coming out which is nice supposedly either in April or may not really rumored that you may be maybe even happening April the streetfighter anniversary xxx collection is coming out when that comes out I'm gonna be on cloud nine cuz I cannot wait to play she farted too hyper fighting supersu Fighter 2 turbo Street Fighter 3 third strike and Street Fighter Alpha 3 online against people constantly and and you know show people how to play those games and to really you know entertaining videos of me doing gameplay of those games I can't wait I just hope that the game that comes is a worthy collection with good online connectivity and not just some garbage they slap together with duct tape you know Capcom tends to sometimes do hack jobs like that um but yeah there's a lot me six new releases now big new releases in April stuff in May a street fighter collection the next few months are looking great for me you know I'm not angry at all if anything the only wouldn't um so that being said you know it is it's daunting some nights I'll be really you guys some nights I go to sleep and I'm nervous you know some nights it gets to me and I say stupid shit I do stupid things because I'm nervous about the future you know and then I hear people getting all hype about things that I think are kind of silly and or I I'm not interested in and then I get bombarded on social media what do you think about this what do you think about this did you hear about this did you hear about this I don't give a shit you know I got my own thing going on it you know I'm just kind of hyper focused on myself and being able to survive and pay my bills and pay my taxes and having a good life here with my girlfriend who just moved in with me this is the focus for me I don't have time for all this like this nonsense sensory noise around me and that's really what it is there's a whole lot of white noise on the internet these days right all these flash-in-the-pan stuff that happens this is important that's important this news did you hear this special thing that happened did you hear this amazing thing over here or on the flip side did you this negative thing did you hear this happen to this person did you hear this guy say this did you hear this and this it's all white noise to me you know and there's so it's a cacophony of white noise currently you know always constantly spinning around my head um mm and for me I basically need to kind of focus in on what's important and not let all that shit constantly get to me you know what I mean and sometimes it does you know I'm only human and I apologize to anyone who I may come off as sometimes angry or grumpy or you know what I mean like 9 a good mood because sometimes you know I'll be real I just am you know other stuff going on behind the scenes you know that I tell you guys about sometimes but I always mentioning you know maybe the last thing that I like to hear is you know these crazy weird things that just happen these anomalies and it's like well you know Here I am I'm the guy who busted his ass for 10 years to do what he loved I really fought to keep doing things the way that I do them in particular because I feel that is the right way to do them to be a true gamer right to share my honest raw gameplay experiences with you guys never giving in to the YouTube temptations of everything must be highly edited everyone sit in front of a video editor for 10 hours a day to go through an entire playthrough and only do this and use the highly edited thumbnails and do skits and you know work with a team of people who can film and do this and you know I just wanted to be a normal gamer who sat around and played games I had fun with you guys and it's been a very hard very difficult time to maintain what I do and still be able to afford everything over the years to be real with you guys you know and sometimes it gets to me it does especially this tax situation right now is really just it's got its hooks in me let's put it that way um and so you know you get it a night when some crazy stuff happens and did you hear about this I don't care I just really I can't I can't get so into other people shit and get into these big viral things and get into these meme and get into this crazy shit you know um you're right critical for days but you know the good news is somehow at least up to now I found a way every day I reinvigorate myself I jump back on I'm positive I get on stream I have fun with you guys that's what it's all about it's not about having moments of weakness it's about persevering through those moments of weakness and coming back stronger the next day because you learn from them right that's really what I think it's all about it's one thing to have to be to have a weakness or to make a mistake or to be angry or whatever as long as something positive comes out of it then you know what I mean if you're destined to repeat the same mistakes over and over coat tea you know all the things that people clean work and they they work for about 10 minutes and then as soon as I come back to stream and I start talking my throat shot again um it is what it is man it is what it is all right shout out to check in did another cheer and he said we definitely got to get some sets in on third strike and super turbo and maybe alpha 3 yeah listen I am very stoked I'm seriously stoked for this Street Fighter Anniversary Collection you guys have no idea classic Street Fighter all right on a platform people will actually play on and hopefully we'll be good unlike Ultra Street Fighter 2 last year which was classic Street Fighter on a platform where the only people who owned it weren't even good at the game very few cases where people who even understood the fundamentals of the game at a high level and then when you even did get a good match in it was laggy as hell oh by the way they included Akuma and two other God level characters who shouldn't be in ranked games it was just so stupid it was a mess I'm very much looking forward to you know hopefully competitive level online multiplayer in these games um I'm a big fan of the Foo Fighter original Street Fighter franchise the classics you know and I played all these games well at least I've been attempted competitive level although like I said various levels of success she brought her through hyper fighting I like the game but it's pretty broken at high levels so I don't know how much I'll play of that one I'll probably play it but I probably won't play it at Lane super street fighter through turbo in my opinion is still to this day the best competitive fighting game ever made it's got amazing variety in the gameplay it's got amazing balance it's got high-level footsies and you know Kesey combos hard combos interesting strategies like it's really out of great level a lot of people say oh man t hawk sucks dude high levels t hops one of the best characters in the fucking game but you only have your incredibly good see what I mean so unlike a game like modern Street Fighter oh this character is really good he's really easy to play and everyone could dominate with them it's not like that a Super Street Fighter 2 turbo it's like if you're really good as soon as you find it to turbo you could be good with any character but you have to be really good about a beast level certain characters are absolutely horrible unless you've you know figure out the right timing or whatever the traps and the like so super stoked for that obviously the supers your products the servos the game that I was a tournament winner in so very happy to be playing that again of course through Fighter 3 third strike of a huge fan favorite a game that in the mid to late 2000s I was actually getting really good at I was starting to place at tournaments and stuff locally in the Northeast United States um until basically the game died out because three fighter for release and then no one wanted to place two fighter 3 anymore but I loved third strike all right I do mmm-hmm so I'll definitely enjoy playing that again shredder alpha 3 is probably the one game in the collection I'm not that too interested in I never really liked it it was kind of like the the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 of the Street Fighter Alpha series meaning they just threw a hundred characters into the game with sprites from various games and they slammed them together and a lot of them were terrible like a lot of the characters aren't even viable in the game they're just garbage um the difference is Marvel's Capcom - they have so many characters you could still have a viable tournament team with like twenty or thirty of them versus you're better off of three there's like no lie five characters so you can actually play with it at a competitive level and the rest are just hot garbage so that's why I really don't like alpha 3 um mmm but I'll give it a shot anyway I'm sure a ton of people will be attempting to play it anyway so I definitely give that game of shot - so when this comes out man when this collection comes out I'm very excited in playing all three to four games that we'll have online capabilities hopefully showing you guys the ropes of how to play these games because these are the games I grew up with in the 1990s this is like my collection this is I am the the target demographic because I was the person who grew up in the 90s I've been craving that classic style Street Fighter for so long and it's true Fighter 4 and 5 we didn't get it now we're getting a throwback feeling that's really awesome plus an opportunity to pass on my extensive game knowledge to a whole new generation of people I am super pumped super pumped for this collection so yes absolutely check in I will 100% play some fun you know fun matches with you I'm sure it's also gonna be other people other people are gonna want to play you know so we may have a regular group of people who want to issues no I own mmm the launch ps4 okay now I have had issues with it two issues number one USB errors meaning if he was telling me I have to and the USB devices connected even though I don't the only USB device I have connected is my headphones that's it um and I've been told all the way to fix that it's the hard reboot the system guess what my launch ps4 won't hard reboot I've tried it every once I know you got a hold down the power button for this amount of time or whatever I did exactly what I was told my heart might might this much ps4 will not do it so I don't know if it just it's so old alright I don't know it could be I could be the reason but it doesn't hard reboot at all I don't know how to do it so I can't get rid of this is USB error number two sometimes this is a rarity but sometimes it'll have what's a disc eject error where just tries to eject a disc that's inside and the thing is I haven't owned a physical disc and played it on ps4 in a hundred years so it just tries to eject nothing is right here BBB BBB um the way to fix that it's pretty simple either number one you can open up your ps4 and tie in a screw because it's all it is it's a loose screw or you can just completely power down the system and turn it back on after like five minutes and it away from months so I've done that several times in the past two years and I don't have that problem you know as a long-standing problem so that's a good thing sadly there's a third and final really fucking annoying issue that I have had with my launched ps4 the audio okay the stupid audio of the optical audio it's glitchy sometimes it'll work perfectly I have no issues other times all of a sudden my audio will completely die in the middle of a stream and I hear nothing through my headphones now I got to pause the game get up walk over to my ps4 unplug the optical audio cable replug the optical audio cable walk back and then sit down gee did it work no I'll God do it again and this is becoming more and more prevalent it sucks because that means basically I think the optical audio port is dying um now it's not the end of the world if the optical audio port dies I'll just have to plug my headphones into the controller but that means I only get stereo sound which means this no nice Astro a40 headphones that I bought back in the fall because all my other headphones have died literally I won't be using the capabilities of them anymore it'll just be stereo audio I might as well just use el cheapo headphones um which obviously I don't want to do so hopefully mmm the optical audio port does not permanently die I guess we'll see what happens alright um show the wrister swaggins who cheery says are you sad that your aren't gonna play a way out well listen a way out is a game that literally has been advertised as 100% co-op from start to finish it's meant to be a couch co-op game that you play with someone you know either sitting next to you or if you have a close buddy over the internet and you want to do full co-op over the internet you could do that I'm not in that situation you know I was tossing it around as a game that maybe I would play with cat we talked about it and she's like you know what I really I'm not interested in the game and quite frankly you know I'm not really ready to jump right into your gameplay anyway I've only been here for a month you know maybe in the future if there's a game that we're both really into and it has a co-op capability and we want to do it then yes but I'm not I don't want to do it I said fine no pressure you know it certainly doesn't make sense for me to pressure someone into doing something that they don't want to do and then it ends up not being entertaining for anyone right so yeah you know I'm not gonna play a way out it may be a great game but sadly being that they designed the game that it's pretty much co-op only all right oh you know what I mean it's a game that I'm not interested is that maybe in the future I would play it right but right now and let's also face it folks the games i'm gonna be playing sea of thieves the South Park expansion ninokuni - far cry 5 Batman already we've got six major games oh I didn't mean to mention print out paradise six weeks again this is the seventh it's like Oh another game on top of all of those right so it's not like oh man there's nothing going on and everyone's gonna be playing a way out and now I'm not playing it because you know I don't have someone to co-op with that's not the case I have a million other things I'll be doing at the same time so it's not that big of a deal in my opinion okay and mr. sprang construed again and said Phil I got a switch do you rigor in the pro controller or using the attachment to switch provides is good enough it all depends um let me put it this way those joy Commons which is what new attachments they're called the joy cons they're not horrible all right they're not they're fully capable of being able to be used for most of the games that are on the switch and as long as you're okay with having a little bit of a motion control spin to playing the system all right they're perfectly fine however you have to understand something you will actually be putting yourself out of this advantage that pro controller actually does control the system better and it doesn't have a motion control gimmick to it so perfect example here you know Super Mario honesty there were a lot of people when they were playing the game they were the joy cons you have to wiggle them to do this or do that if you have a pro controller everything's just a button anyway um so you don't have to worry about that happening you know in that regard having to do a perfectly time with regal Lords thrust or whatever you want to do um however it definitely should be said that the joy Khan is number one we are excuse me another droidcon excuse me the pro controller is way too expensive it's $69.99 dude all right $69.99 $70 for a game controller that's insanity all right that is way too expensive there is nothing built into the controller worth that amount of money now Nintendo might argue and say oh but it's got the ability to scan the fucking amiibos so that's why it's more expensive because we had to include the amiibo scanner inside okay so how about this don't include the fucking amiibo scanner you idiots you already have an amiibo scanner built into the system why do you need one in the fucking pro controller right it's just another excuse for Nintendo to overcharge everybody um mm it's too expensive number two and this is this really the sad part of it um the d-pad on the pro controller 100% has been confirmed to be faulty when it first came out people bought the pro controller to play Ultra Street Fighter 2 and people bought it and found out just by testing it in training mode the d-pad doesn't work you'll be holding right or left and your character will crouch or jump and so they tested it extensively and found out it's miss manufacturer it's actually it's a completely faulty but let's face it the vast majority of video games don't use the d-pad anymore for the control of your character usually it's like an alternate inventory you know what I mean so it's not that big of a deal but if you actually wanted to use the d-pad for controls it's terrible and a lot of people put up a stink initially when the pro controller released about it but let's face it it's cuz Nintendo has this rabid fanboy grouping oh my god Nintendo can do no wrong the intent was the best company ever Nintendo could rehash games a million times and have the same first party games for 25 years and fucking have ports to their systems that are far inferior than every other console and if a console it's a complete flop that didn't listen to the consumers but because they sold little figurine amiibos they're the best company ever you know it's like Nintendo could do no wrong so even though it was factually and scientifically proven that the d-pad of the Nintendo pro controller is faulty and everyone who bought one has a piece-of-crap d-pad Nintendo has no plans to fix it and no one has done anything about it there's been no mass media outcry about it um no one's filed a class-action lawsuit lawsuit about it Nintendo hasn't fixed it and no one seems to care it's like let's just give them the benefit of the doubt because they're a Nintendo if this happened with an Xbox 360 was selling you know an 80 $90 pro controller which they do and the d-pad didn't work at all it was blatantly broken people would be having a fucking stink no Xbox their nuts would be roasted over a fucking open flame they'd be impaled up the bunghole and they'd be it what I mean it's like very unfair in my opinion and that Nintendo get so it gets away with this kind of shame um what they do because of who they are they're rabid fan base alright so that being said if you are going to get a pro controller you have to understand these foibles do not buy the pro controller and use it for a fighting game you will want to slam your head through the wall you're like why did I waste my money after I bought my pro controller the d-pad was so bad I went out and bought a pokken tournament controller for the Wii U that just so happened to also be compatible with the switch and that's the controller I used for Ultra Street Fighter 2 because the d-pad actually worked the d-pad was so bad on the pro I gave up so I had a $70 controller literally sitting around all summer until the fall came out when I finally That "know" right at the top. He does say "you know" that much, but it's hard to be caught by a software because he spouts it out in like 1/5 of a second.
Then "right", "people", "okay" and "um" - that says it all to me.
