You know he's just going to say he's gotta pay more taxes.

What’s interesting to know is how long hes gonna be able to pull the tax shit drama as an excuse for begging money during his daily 1h prestreams.

I have a feeling but i cant confirm it yet, most of his viewers including fans have learned to skip that first hour because it’s just his wasting their time with his crybaby whining and ebegging.

The problem is Phil has ran out of drama - with the SOK gone and any of Phil's detractors shutting down anyone trying to resurrect that autism festival. He tried to make Tevin his foil but Tevin does not respond because Tevin merely does it for the lols he is not obsessed like Fred and the SOK.
He keeps going on about taxes and beating over his viewers with massive pre streams that are nothing but rambling and they are boring as fuck.
His own fans are turning on him now because its Phil on his own and he has become the focal point meaning anything he does - he gets judged for it.

As for the Tax situation I don't believe it - I believe he is in serious debt but he just uses April tax month to lure in pity bucks because Phil is basic AF and cannot think of a better creative lie. Adding ammo to this claim is the fact he has never raised a number only alluded to a figure he needed e.g. in december and that was only so he could cover soulmaid.
After April 15th he is going to have a holiday in Seattle he alluded to it this week and I notice Phil alludes and follows it out in like 3 for weeks.

Well his last staycation was a great success because even his own fans hated it because his exorbitant amount of money spent. Atm his own audience is on self destruct because he is a cunt like the Wings of Redemption guy too.

So if Phil is starting to become consistently boring, what will happen to this thread and board overall?

I'd say its fairly simple. KF has been the place where a large number of DSP "events" have taken place.

I wouldn't say its responsible for everything in the world, but when it becomes a lot easier to see what is happening (which is when the subforum was made I guess) it means that the mystery is gone. A big part of this is that Kat simply doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with being a big part in DSP's streams like Leanna did. Leanna was the only person with physical presence to Phil so it was probably quite interesting just with that.

So I'd say that even if he somehow survives the tax situation (which is unknown because he's never provided any proof or solid figures) then the interest in him will die down and probably only rise and fall when its tax time which is every quarter. The things Phil has done very recently look more and more like death throes, so I'm not even sure he wants to continue being an internet personality anymore.

I really don't think he's capable of standing much longer without sustained levels of drama and intrigue. And I don't personally think that will continue happening.

Yeah, that's kind of the response I expected to get. It's a pity though. Having a single thread that's 3k pages of endless sperging would be a great testament to this site's autism and dedication

This is what makes me feel bad about him, i'm pretty sure his lack of interest in making a better stream comes from the thought of him not liking what he does at all.

I feel bad for him honestly, he can rant and scream all he wants, hell, even if he insulted me personally i'd still feel bad, he is trapped in a mediocre job with no future.

I'd be depressed too.

The problem is that 3000 pages is impossible to navigate. Having the subforum has meant its easier for people to focus autism on specific topics. In a way its like a dissemination engine. Twitter and other places can't really compete.

Although some detractors have managed to earn a reputation as providing a way to access DSP information easily, Twitter and edited videos are still not that great of a medium and can't really compete with a forum like this. Its difficult to know whether what people are posting on Twitter is truthful and I've often seen some fairly inaccurate stuff being posted.

Its also easy to say that Twitter, videos and other forums (like DHI) suck shit, in reality a lot of Twitter stuff gets posted here, a lot of "here" stuff gets posted on Twitter and the speed at which things move has changed since the megathread days.

If it were just a dedicated forum then it'd probably not have all that many users. But because Kiwifarms is a place that largely allows unfiltered discussion but with a reputation attached to each user on top of a much larger variety of people it means things are much easier to discuss.

In response to Phil becoming more boring and drama kind of dwindling, let me say this to at least plant the seed of hope in the autistic hearts of us all.

It's not just Phil that provides shenanigans and drama. Sometimes, it's the fans themselves, and their interactions with either Phil, detractors, or their own "community". I think Vidar is pretty much proof of this, in how his dealings led to some really exceptional events. His "Please notice me, senpai!" attitude towards Phil, his sperging out at any and all detractors, the fucking doxxing arc, etc.

You can argue that he was the exception (no pun intended), but then there's KG (who went on a wild ride back in the day), the chat (who sometimes are good for a laugh with guys like Papa Lou and how spiteful they can get with each other), the forum doods (who are still drip-feeding everyone with decent amounts of autism).

If Phil enters a particularly dry patch, just turn to the fans, who often are the best source of shenanigans, since they can make Phil talk about drama, or say stupid shit when he didn't plan on doing so.

Quite true. I do wonder how long this dry patch will last though. If it goes on for an extended period of time (maybe a year or more like Chris's hiatus after Bob's death) this thread and board may need to be revised in some way

Really interesting thought actually Jmboote.
In conjuncture with your observation wouldn't the amount of red-pilling affect the drama around Phil as they will instantly call him out in the past of the thread we will laugh however now that everyone is turning on him even Soulmaid :p I bet its got a very hollow taste. Its not like Chris Chan who we love because in a way his autism is endearing and we laugh with/at Chris with Phil its opposite its his clique that made Phil - Phil and now that there is nothing really left he is nothing but a withered husk screaming about taxes and shit games. I am sure at some point Phil actually liked games not more than he acted because they were nothing but cash influxes for him but now 5 years down the road he is everything he hates or has said he has hated.

I in fact pity Phil greatly.

idk the list of people that have been comedic has reduced dramatically. The only person who really stands out (to me anyway) is Amityville/ThatDogGuy.

Another big problem is that people kept trying to cause drama by socking as Pineapplehead and other people on here. Once something like that gets disproven it basically means Pineapple gets a get out of jail free card. He never overreacted, he's not as interesting, he's just a guy that gives DSP sound business advice and DSP ignores it and he occasionally gets frustrated at Phil.

I really think the "golden age" of DSP-related people has probably reached its end point. Kat doesn't even want to be that public. Phil barely even mentions "detractor content" any more and seems to have actually tried to avoid it, which means things are at an all time high of boring.

Also, MrSwagginz is a Justin Bieber fan (based upon his Twitter) and I don't think he's being true & authentic. Unless someone pulls out a catfishing empire or something equally as bizarre, its going to be a sharp drop in tard cum from now on. It's just going to be the ramblings of a man who got audited for back taxes and there was nothing he could do.

So had a thought regarding the state of the thread since DSP's drop in activity. Has the idea of a dsp wiki every come around to some of the people who discuss him? I know wikis about cows like Chris, ADF and A-log cropped up or continued to remain popular. I just find it weird that no one seems to have thought of a dsp style wiki
